WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure

(i) On January 13th 2016, the Israeli army, intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented worshipers under the age of 50 from conducting prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound which forced residents to conduct prayers near checkpoints located outside Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close the ‘demarcation area’ along the Wall in the area surrounding occupied East Jerusalem and restricts access to local residents as well as to civilians holding special permits.
(iii) The Israeli army continues to impose a blockade and deny civilian access to a hill between Biddu and Beit Iksa villages.

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint.
(iii) On November 16th 2015, Israeli forces closed the south entrance of Jabal Al-Mukabir neighbourhood in Jerusalem, which leads to “Armon Hantsiv” settlement with cement blocks.

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint.
(iii) On November 16th 2015, Israeli forces closed the south entrance of Jabal Al-Mukabir neighbourhood in Jerusalem, which leads to “Armon Hantsiv” settlement with cement blocks.

Closure of Checkpoints

(i) Israeli authorities continue to consider Qalandiya checkpoint a “border crossing point” and designate a special crossing lane for holders of Jerusalem IDs and another for those possessing permits to access Jerusalem city.
(ii) On September 19th 2012, Israeli forces closed Ras Khamis checkpoint near Shu’fat camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to construct the wall.

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rafaat village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.

Raid

At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Hizma village, clashed with several residents as they stormed a coffee shop, damaged several supplies, and assaulted Mahmoud Al-Basha.

Attack

At 19:20, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighbourhood fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Detention

(i) At dawn on January 13th 2016, Israeli forces detained Nader Adnan Diyab Abu Latifah (A resident of Qalandiya camp).
(ii) At 10:45, Israeli forces detained 2 children: Ala Abu Khdeir (16 years old) and Majd Abu Khdeir (15 years old) in Shu’fat neighbourhood in Jerusalem.
(iii) At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned near Qalandiya checkpoint detained the child: Anas Ismail Al-Khatib (17 years old) {A resident of Qalandiya camp}.
(iv) At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Salaslah gate {A main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound) in the old city of Jerusalem detained Ehab Al-Jallad.
(v) At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram road detained Nasr Majed Khalil Al-Sabah.
(vi) At 18:00, Israeli forces detained two children: Mohammad Eyad Al-Hirbawi (15 years old) and Husam Jallal Sbitan (17 years old) {both residents of Beit Hanina}.
(vii) At dawn on January 14th 2016, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Rakan in Ras Al-Amoud neighbourhood.

Temporary Detention

At 18:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child Qusay Yunis (10 years old) {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} for alleged stoning then released him at a later time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

Closure of Wall Gates

(i) The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks the Wall gate in Abu Dis town.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to deny civilian access through the Wall gate on Al-Shayyah road in the area between Al-Sawahira Al-Sharqiya and Al-Slewahira Al-Gharbiya villages, only allowing civilians holding Jerusalem IDs to cross, after subjecting them to thorough searches using electronic devices.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Sinjil village well as the junction to Kafr Malik and ‘Ein Samiya villages
(ii) . On October 3rd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road located near “Bet El” settlement and leading to Al-Jalazoun camp with cement blocks.
(iii) Since November 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed the main entrance of Sinjil and the east entrance of Al-Mughier village with cement blocks.
(iv) At 18:50 on December 4th 2015, Israeli forces closed the main entrance of Abboud with cement blocks.
(v) On December 15th 2015, Israeli forces closed the West entrance of Al-Labban Al-Gharbi village with cement blocks.

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 08:45 and again at 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
(ii) At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

(i) At 09:20, Israeli forces raided Um Safa village and stormed a home.
(ii) At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Beitin and Ein Yabroud villages and served military orders to demolish 3 homes owned by: Ahmad Abdel-Rahman Jaghmah, Imad Abdel-Rahman Farha and Yusef Khalil Jabr.
(iii) At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Ein Qinya village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 03:00.
(iv) At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and Al-Amari camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 06:50

Attack

(i) At 12:20, Israeli forces positioned near Deir Nathim village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
(ii) At 16:40, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Detention

(i) At 04:45 on January 13th 2016, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Ismail Ibrahim Sa’ed during their raid into Bir Ziet as mentioned in the previous report.
(ii) Israeli forces detained Mahran Abu Shusheh in Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Closure (per District)

On December 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed off the area {900m wide and 100m long} along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem leading to south Ya’bad and installed a barbed wire fence around the area and declared the area a closed military zone.

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the road leading to the town of ‘Arraba east of the illegal settlement Dotan.
(ii) Since the evening of November 25th 2012, Israeli forces closed the western entrance of Ya’bad.

Raid

(i) At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Ya’bad and fired stun grenades in the area.
(ii) At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun, detained 2 University students and summoned Basil Faysal Abu Al-Hija to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Fadi Faysal Samoudi and Mohammad Ahmad Fihmi Farihat in Al-Yamoun.

Closure of Wall Gates

Israeli forces continue too close the wall gate and only allow those holding special permits to enter through it.

TUBAS

Raid

At 16:30, Israeli forces raided Bardala village and served a military order for the demolition of a water well for allegedly being built without a licence.

Deportation

At 06:00, Israeli forces stormed Einoun area located in east Tubas city and demolished two livestock sheds owned by Mahmoud Adib Maaslimani and Ali Khaled Einbuisi and also demolished a water well {approximately 300 m3 in volume}.

Assaults on Property

At 16:30, Israeli forces stormed Ibziq village located in the North Jordan valley served military orders to remove 9 families from their homes from 12:00 until 21:00 on January 27th 2016 for alleged military training in the area.

TULKAREM

Closure of Checkpoints

At 08:35, Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at “Eniv” checkpoint located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus and impeded the free flow of traffic until 10:30.

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bal’a junction then searched residents and vehicles until 23:50.

Raid

(i) At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Far’oun village until 10:25.
(ii) At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Anabta, clashed with several residents, detained a resident then withdrew at 16:10.
(iii) At 21:50, Israeli forces raided Bal’a and Anabta until 22:15.
(iv) At 19:55, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem and Nour Al-Shams camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:30.

Detention

(i) On January 12th 2016, Israeli forces detained Shadi Rasheed Milhim during their raid into Tulkarem.
(ii) Israeli forces detained Mohammad Taysir Abdel-Dayim in Anabta.
(iii) Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Afouqiya in Tulkarem.

QALQILIYA

Closure of Roads

(i) Israeli forces continue to close with cement blocks agricultural roads east of Azzun town.
(ii) In addition to closing the gate installed since the outbreak the second Intifada, the Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the eastern entrance to Kafr Qaddum village.
(iii) Since 16:55 on December 18th 2014, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with dirt mounds
(iv) Since 10:40 on September 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with a steel Gate

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Fanduq village {for the alleged stoning of an Israeli settler vehicle along Nablus-Qalqiliya road} and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:10.

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya, stormed and searched 4 homes, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Jihad Loia Mahmoud Qur’an in Qalqiliya.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:40, an Israeli settler opened fire as he was driving his vehicle along the main road near Al-Nabi Eliyas village

Closure of Wall Gates

(i) The Israeli army continues to restrict access at ‘Azzun ‘Atma Wall gate and impeded the free flow of traffic. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the entrance to the village of Wadi Al- Rasha and to deny civilian access.
(ii) The Israeli army allows residents to access the village through Gate #109. Having removed the gate at the entrance to the village of Ras Atiya; the Israeli army only allows students to cross to their schools outside the village through the Habla gate.

NABLUS

Closure

Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunumes of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close the roads of Til-Burin and Beit Furik-Salem; the settler bypass road connecting the village of Deir al Hatab to the settlement of Alon Moreh; the road connecting the town of ‘Aqraba to the village of Osrin; and the detour road between the town of Qabalan and the village of Osrin.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
(iii) At 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
(iv) On November 29th 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Burin, Awarta and Osirin as well as the agricultural bypass road connecting Aqraba and Qabalan village with dirt mounds.
(v) At 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.

Closure of Checkpoints

At 17:35, Israeli forces closed Huwarah checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Aqraba and Majdal Bani Fadel then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

(i) At 02:55 on January 13th 2016, Israeli forces raided Askar camp in Nablus then stormed and searched a UNWRA funded secondary boys school.
(ii) At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Subustiya village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers as they stormed archaeological sites in the village then withdrew at 13:10.
(iii) At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Awarta village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers as they stormed archaeological sites in the village then withdrew at 02:20.
(iv) At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Madma village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:10.
(v) On January 14th 2016, Israeli forces raided Beita and detained a resident.

Detention

(i) At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara checkpoint detained Ahmad Abdel-Fattah Al-Kiffafi (A resident of Askar camp in Nablus.
(ii) Israeli forces detained Diya Khaled Dwikat in Beita.

Temporary Detention

At 21:30, Israeli forces temporary detained Ma’moun Jameel Jamal Al-Najjar (A resident of Burin village) then released him at 21:50.

House Demolition

On January 9th 2016, Israeli forces stormed Osirin village and served a military order for the demolition of a home owned by Ayman Sultan Adeli for allegedly being built without a licence because of its location in area C which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control.

SALFIT

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
(ii) On 15.04.2012, the Israeli army has opened the northern entrance to Salfit city to civilian which was closed since the year 2000 and prevented access from 08:00 until 09:20.
(iii) Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.

Closure of Checkpoints

At 17:35, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za’tara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 16:45 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.
(ii) At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafil Harris and Deir Istiya then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

Raid

At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Bruqin, stormed a merchant shop, detained a resident and confiscated a computer.

Detention

(i) At 09:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za’tara checkpoint junction detained Ahmad Abdel-Fattah Al-Kafi (A resident of Askar camp in Nablus).
(ii) Israeli forces detained Islam Jamal Othman Slamah in Bruqin.

JERICHO

Closure of Checkpoints

At 16:30, Israeli forces continue to intensify its restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District.

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 08:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90) in An Nuweima village located at the north entrance of Jericho then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
(ii) At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Jiftlik village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:05.
(iii) At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90) in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:45.

House Demolition

At 11:30, Israeli forces stormed Al-Jiftlik village and served military orders for the demolition of 6 homes owned by Nayef Musa Musalam, Musa Mohammad Musalam, Hisham Mohammad Jidrawi, Jamal Al-Taweel, Billal Al-Haj Odeh Faraj and Mohammad Abdel-Baqi Salawdeh for allegedly being built without licencing.

BETHLEHEM

Closure

(i) The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
(ii) Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunumes of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close the road leading to “Newe Daniyyel” settlement and agricultural land in Al-Khader; a road between Um Tuba and Wadi Al-Hums: Wadi Fukin, Al-Jaba, the Green Line; a road between Za’tara and a detour road, and a road between Taqou and Khirbet Al-Deir with cement blocks.
(iii) Since August 2nd 2012, Israeli forces closed a road leading to Beit Jalla.
(iv) Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires.
(v) Since June 3rd 2013, the Israeli army closed the road connecting Nihalin and road 60 with dirt mounds.
(vi) Since 13:20 on September 29th 2013, the Israeli army closed a road leading to 50 acres of agricultural land in Wadi Salem area in Al-Khadr with dirt mounds.
(vii) Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Surif and Al-Jub’a village with dirt mounds.
(viii) On January 28th 2014, Israeli forces closed the steel gate at the entrance of Nihalin { replacing the dirt mounds placed at the entrance since the year 2002} and placed time schedule for opening the gate from 06:00 until 14:00 on a daily bases.
(ix) Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
(x) At 15:30 on November 20th 2015, Israeli forces closed the east entrance of Jinata and the entrance of Marah Rabah village with dirt mounds.
(xi) At 13:10 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Marah Rabah village with dirt mounds.
(xii) At 18:00 on November 27th 2015, Israeli forces closed Bararat junction located in Ras area in Beit Jallah with cement blocks.
(xiii) At 14:50 on November 28th 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Um Al-Raqaba area located in Al-Khader with cement blocks.

Closure of Checkpoints

At 11:00, Israeli forces closed Al-Container checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic after an alleged drive by shooting towards the checkpoint then reopened it at 11:50.

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 11:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.
(ii) At 12:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of North Taqou’ then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Raid

At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem until 02:45.

Attack

(i) At 13:05, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque and in Al-Ayda camp located in North Bethlehem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 10 residents including 4 children: Mohammad Nasri Jafal (15 years old), Khaled Fayez Mahmoud (17 years old), Abdel-Hameed Ali Ayash (17 years old), Mohammad Ismail Shahin (17 years old), Haytham Mustafa Zubn and well as leaving several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
(ii) At 15:35, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Nashash junction located at the south entrance of Bethlehem fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Closure

(i) The Israeli army continues to close Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
(ii) Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.

Closure of main Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Al-Tuwani and Al-Karmil villages.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to prohibit Palestinian vehicles from travelling along the old Al-Shalala Street leading to Hebron’s Old City.
(iii) The Israeli army continues to close all roads leading to Road # 60 as well as detour roads along the settler bypass road leading to Yatta town.
(iv) The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds a detour road leading to e to Al-Simiya village, the southern entrance of Al-Samou’ and the entrance of Beit Annun with cement blocks.
(v) At 05:50 on November 5th 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrance leading Farsh Al-Hawa area in Hebron with Cement blocks.
(vi) At 10:30 on November 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the junction located near “Hagi” settlement located in south Hebron with cement blocks.
(vii) At 21:00 on November 11th 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Beit Awwa and Al-Majd village with cement block and dirt mounds.
(viii) At 15:45 on November 15th 2015, Israeli forces closed Al-Samiya village junction located at the west entrance of Al-Samou’ with cement blocks.
(ix) On November 15th 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrances of Khliat Al-Miya and Al Dirat and the two bypass roads leading east Yatta with cement blocks.
(x) On November 23rd 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Qom village located in North Beit Awwa with Cement blocks.
(xi) On December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed a checkpoint located along Al-Shuhada road located in the old city of Hebron and prevented residents from passing through the checkpoint and redirected traffic through a road near the entrance of Jabal Al-Rahma.
(xii) On December 9th 2015, Israeli forces closed a road near Jabal Jallis area located in the old city of Hebron and closed the bypass road.

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Khursa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
(ii) At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Dahriya and Al-Ramadin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

(i) At dawn on January 13th 2016 and again at dawn on January 14th 2016, Israeli forces raided Sa’ir and detained 4 residents.
(ii) At 09:50, Israeli forces raided Surif and summoned Omar Ahmad Al-Heih to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

(i) At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Aroub camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Detention

(i) At dawn on January 13th 2016, Israeli forces detained Firas Kamal Farid Al-Rajabi in the old city of Hebron.
(ii) Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mus’ab Salah Shalladah, Yasser Mustafa Shalladeh, Zawadi Sha’ban and Hakeem Shaladeh in Sa’ir.
(iii) Israeli forces detained Kamal Mohammad Shihadeh Musa (A resident of Hebron) near Beit Aboun village junction.

Destruction of Property

: At 11:00, Israeli forces stormed Khirbeit Al-Rahat village located in South Al-Thahriya and demolished several Livestock sheds owned by Al-Tal family for allegedly being built without licences.

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza and Khan Yunis.
• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis.
• Israeli Military Air crafts broke the cease fire agreement by launching missiles towards North Gaza and as a result killed a resident and injured 3 others including 2 critically injured.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businessmen and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 07:30 on January 13th 2016, Israeli forces escorting Military Bulldozers stormed 150m and levelled a plot of land then withdrew at 15:00.

Attack

(i) At 08:50, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya and as a result injured 3 residents including 2 critically injured
(ii) At 16:00, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya.

Air Strike

At 08:45, Israeli fighter jets launched missiles towards several residents in North Beit Lahiya and as a result killed a resident.

Killings

Israeli Air strikes killed Musa Assad Abu Za’tar (31 years old) in North West Beit Lahiya.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

(i) Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
(ii) Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision

At 22:40, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah and Al-Maghazi camp.

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several farmers located on agricultural land in east Al-Farahin area located in east Abbassan Al-Kabira.

RAFAH

(i) Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
(ii) Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed
(iii) Sufa Crossing is closed
(iv) Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing open for the entry of tourist and foreign diplomats and the entry of Humanitarian assistance and construction material funded by UNRWA
