WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Sawahra Al-Sharqiya village and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on January 15th 2019, Israeli forces raided Anata town and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on January 15th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hizma town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on January 15th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces detained Mustafa Shahiyat {A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.
2. On the evening of January 14th 2019, Israeli forces detained Awwad Al-Salamiyat {A resident of Jerusalem city}.
3. On the evening of January 14th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}: Adam Abu Ramouz {15 years old} and Baha Al-Rajabi {both are residents of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
4. Israeli forces detained Loai Ja'abis in Al-Sawahra Al-Sharqiya village.
5. Israeli forces detained Yahya Al-Silwadi in Anata town.
6. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Abdallah Askar in Hizma town.
7. Israeli forces detained Soliman Abu Ghoush in Qalandiya camp.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
2. At 10:00, a Israeli Police officer attempted to storm the Dome of the Rock which is located near Al-Aqsa mosque before being stopped by a Security guard of the mosque who closed the doors doors of the mosque in order to prevent them from entering it during which Israeli Police officers surrounded the Dome of the Rock mosque in an attempt to storm it and detain the mosque security guard during which they assaulted and severely beat the director of the mosque, Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani leaving him hospitalized with contusions then proceeded to temporarily detain 4 mosque security guards then released them at a later time.

Physical Assault

At 10:00, Israeli Police officers positioned Dome of the Rock which is located near Al-Aqsa mosque assaulted and severely beat the director of the mosque, Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani {the director of the mosque} leaving him hospitalized with contusions.

Deportation

On the evening of January 14th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city served order preventing 4 residents:
Ahmed Abu Alia, Louay Abu Saad, Fadi Alian and Yehia Shehadeh {Security Guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound} from their work place for a period of 7 days and summoned them to report to the Israeli Police for interrogation located in Bab Al-Khalil area in the city as a condition for their release after they were forcibly removed from the Dome of the Rock mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On January 14th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and PMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Beituniya town and Ein Arik village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. On January 14th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atara town bridge and assaulted a resident leaving him hospitalized with contusions.
4. At 01:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Ramallah city and Ein Qinya village then detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city and Beituniya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several building in Beituniya town and confiscated surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 17:20.
2. At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Abu Qash village and detained a resident.
3. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located the area between Ramallah city and Ein Qinya village detained Sa'id Judat Yacoub.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mahmoud Qa'ed in Abu Qash village.

Physical Assault

On January 14th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near Atara town bridge assaulted Hanthala Issa Al-Shiekh {A resident of Beit Iksa village in Jerusalem city} leaving him hospitalized with contusions.

Attack

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several building to confiscated surveillance camera footage during their raid into Beituniya town.
2. At 03:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Deir Abu Mash'al village.

JENIN

Raid

1.On the evening of January 14th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, detained 6 residents {including 2 National Security Force officer}
3. At dawn on January 15th 2019, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camp then detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Thaer Haitham Subhi Khalil Amarna { National Security Force officer}, Adel Thaer Haitham Subhi Khalil Amarna {National Security Force officer}, Jihad Allam Mahmoud Abu Bakr, Abdullah Maher Ahmed Abu Bakr, Qaisar Yacoub Nafiat, and Majed Ahmad Bajawi in Ya'bad town.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Rateb Abdel-Karim Aweis, Bahaa Al-Qasrawi and Mohammed Adel Al-Aqma in Jenin city and its camp.

TUBAS

Destruction of Property

At 06:00 on January 14th 2019, Israeli forces paved a road in Al-Burj area located in the North Jordan valley in an alleged military training in the area and as a result damaged several acres of agricultural land.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 16:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Enav military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:40.

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Beit Lid town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:000, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:30 and again at 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 21:00, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mahmoud Mohammad Awinat {A resident of Qalqiliya city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

NABLUS

Raid

At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and its camps, detained 2 residents and confiscated 7 lathe machines owned by Assad Nasrallah {A resident of Nablus city}.

Detention

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara military checkpoint detained Sultan Ibrahim Abu Mustafa {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Fadi Imad Abu Hadrous {A resident of Askar camp} and Sa'id Ja'far Dweikat {A resident of Nablus city}.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:45, Israeli forces confiscated 7 lathe machines owned by Assad Nasrallah during their raid into Nablus city.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Ma'ale Efraim" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:25, Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Jiftlik village stole 27 heads of sheep owned by Khalil Mohammad Salem Jabarat {A resident of Al-Jiftlik village}.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:25.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Marah Rabah village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:50.
3. At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:50.

Raid

1. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and detained 2 children.
2. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town and detained a resident.
3. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town and detained a child.

Detention

1. At dawn on January 14th 2019, Israeli forces detained Tarik Adel Khalil Atallah {A Civil defense force officer} during their raid into Harmala village {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 children: Mohammed Nabil Yousef Thawabtah {15 years old}, and Muhannad Badr Sabri Thawabta {16 years old} in Beit Fajjar town.
3. Israeli forces detained Baha Khalid Hussien Al-Badan in Teqou' town.
4. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hassan Abu Ajamiya {15 years old} in Al-Doha town.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:10, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town closed the entrance and impeded the free flow of traffic then raised Israeli flags in the area.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp then stormed and searched 3 homes.
2. At dawn on January 15th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Murshid Mohammad Za'aqiq and Mohammad Mahmoud Awad in Beit Ummar town.

Assaults on Property

On January 14th 2019, Israeli force stormed Al-Jawiya village located in south east Yatta town and served military orders to halt construction on a home, a storage shed and a water well owned by Abdel-Mutalib Hamad Al-Nawaj'at and Musa Hassan Al-Shawahin for allegedly being built with out a license.

Settlers Attacks

On January 13th 2019, Israeli settlers from "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city demolished several stone fences surrounding agricultural land owned by Jaber family located in Wadi Al-Hassien area {which is located near the settlement} in an attempt to pave a settler road during which local residents were able to restore the fences.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:55 on January 14th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
