DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on 14/01/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Issawiya village and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At 23:00,the Israeli occupation forces detained Adnan Abu Al-Hawa, in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
2. The detainee in the village of Issawiya is: Muhammad Abu Rajab.

House Demolition

At 12:00 pm, the occupation authorities in the town of Beit Hanina forced the citizen: Fawaz Abu Hammad, to personally demolish his house, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carry out the demolition, under the pretext of not having a permit.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Detention

1. At 04:05 on 14/01 2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Ahed Mustafa Ibrahim and Muhammad Mahmoud Hamayel. during their raid into Kafr Malik village (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report).
2. At 18:15, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Riyad Musleh Assaf - a resident of Bir Zeit, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on prior notification.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Azzun town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Bruqin, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr al-Dik, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Deir Ballut junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 10:20.
2. At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint along road (90) near the settlement of "Tomer", to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho, where clashes took place with the citizens,detained a child, and withdrew at 14:10.

Detention

The detainee in Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho is: Abd al-Rahman Khaled Muhammad Salih, 15 years old.

Attack

At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during their raid into Aqabat Jaber camp in Jericho city for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the (Container) checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 10:30.
2. At 11:20,the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Marah Rabah, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 13:00.
3. At 13:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Jala city, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up two checkpoints at the entrances to the town of Al-Dhahiriya and Al-Fawwar camp, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 10:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 16:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Fahs area, south of Hebron, and detained a citizen.
4. At 16:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi al-Samen road, south of Hebron, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
•The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire, firing from their positions on the Green Line in the northern Gaza and Khan Yunis governorates.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": 14/01/2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

At 09:00 on14/01/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands north of Beit Lahia town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 15:00 on 14/01/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": on 14/01/2021, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
