Flying Checkpoints

At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town { near Malee Adumim" settlement} and detained 2 residents.

Raid

At dawn on January 16th 2018, Israeli forces raided Biddu town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town { near Malee Adumim" settlement} detained 2 residents: Nabil Zahir Abu Sarhan and Ayman Zahir Abu Sarhan.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Zahran in Biddu town.

Deportation

On January 15th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders for the expulsion of 6 residents: Sabeeh Mesbah Abu Sabeeh, Jaber Abu Sabeeh, Majid Al-Juba, Mohammed Al-Hashlamoun, Louay Nasser Al-Din Rawhi Al-Kalghasi preventing them from entering Kafr Aqab town for a period of 14 days as a term for their release from Israeli Police custody..

Temporary Detention

1.On January 15th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city imposed home detention sentences for Abeer Ahmad Ziyad and Ziyad Ziyad for a period of 7 days and also prevented them conducting Charity works for a period of 120 days as a As a condition for their release from Israeli Police custody,
2. On January 15th 2017, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city imposed home detention sentence for the child Abdel-Rahman Marwan Al-Halshamoun {14 years old}{A resident of the old city of Jerusalem} for a period of 5 days as a a condition for his release from Israeli Police custody,
3. On January 15th 20018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city imposed home detention sentence for Mohammad Abdel-Rau'uf Mahmoud {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} until January 18th 2018 as well as fining him as a a condition for his release from Israeli Police custody,

Attack

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 16:50, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Mahmoud Ashraf Mir'ib during clashes in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At dawn on January 15th 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'meh village and detained 2 residents.
2. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Sira village, clashed with several residents and detained 4 residents.
3. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Ein Yabrud village and detained a resident.
4. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Kafr Malik village and detained a resident.
5. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 2 residents.
6. At dawn on January 16th 2018, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city, stormed and searched several apartments in 2 buildings.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nasir Ibrahim Mohamed Ghanem and Shadi Hassan Abdullah Al-Sayes in Kafr Ni'mah village.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 resiednts: Nihad Ayad Salim Hamdan, Saleh Mustafa al-Khatib, Hudhayfah Issa Ankawi and Ismail Khaled Ankawi in Beit Sira village.
3. Israeli forces detained Abdul Jawad Zaher Jagmeh in Ein Yabrud village.
4. Israeli forces detained Usayed Abed Hamayil in Kafr Malik village.
5. Israeli forces detained Nazih Abdallah Hamad and Eyad Abdallah Hamad in Silwad town.

Attack

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes during their raid into Beit Sira village.
2. At 17:50, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazun camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Bruqin town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops and as a result injured 6 residents and confiscated surveillance camera recorders and damaged 3 vehicles.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Shuhada' village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops.
3. On the evening of January 15th 2018, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, stormed a home and confiscated surveillance camera recorders from a home.
4. At 16:10, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and detained a resident.
5. At dawn on January 16th 2018, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and detained a resident.
6. At dawn on January 16th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Zabadat, Qabtiya, Al-Yamoun, Masilat and Marka towns, stormed and searched several merchant shops and confiscated surveillance camera footage recorders.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Uday Tariq Al-Sa'di in Jenin camp.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Sami Mir'i in Ya'bad town.

Attack

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops during their raid into Bruqin town and as a result injured 6 residents.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops during their raid into Al-Shuhada' village.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 resiednts {of those identified are}: Sakher Amin Attiq, Thaher Al-Shiekh and Ahmad Amin Sobh during clashes in Bruqin town.

Confiscation of Property

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera recorders from several homes and merchant shops including Abu Ali Assi Company, Sharhabeel Supermarket and a gas station owned by Ali Al-Qaz during their raid into Bruqin town.
2. On the evening of January 15th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera recorders from the home of Khalid Abu Al-Hassan during their raid into Jenin city.
3. At dawn on January 16th 2018, confiscated surveillance camera recorders from several homes and merchant shops including Mohammad Soliman Frihat, Waleed Abdel-Rahman Mir'i and Fathi Muslih Amin Al-Suqi during their raid into Al-Zabadat, Qabtiya, Al-Yamoun, Masilat and Marka towns.

Destruction of Property

At 18:30, Israeli forces damaged 3 vehicles owned by Wissam Deef Afana (private car), and a vehicle owned by Cann'an compan, and Hiam Al-Assi (agricultural tractor) during their raid into Bruqin town.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:55, Israeli settlers positioned near "Homish" settlement {which was abandoned} and chased several residents in an attempt to assault then then withdrew at a later time.

TULKAREM

Closure of main Roads

On January 15th 2018, Israeli forces closed the entrances leading to Ramin, Shufa and Safarin villages located along the by pass raod leading to "Enav" and "Avni Havits"settlements with cement blocks.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Nabi Eliyas village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Falkhri Moath Mahmoud Saleem {a resident of Azzun town} in Al-Nabi Eliyas village.

Attack

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Jayyous town fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result killed a resident.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned in North Azzun town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Ahmad Abdul-Jaber Mohammed Salim {24 years old} during clashes near the wall gate in Jayyous town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Tel village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 11:50.

Raid

At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Joseph's Tomb", clashed with several residents and as a result injured a residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation and detained 2 residents{1 during confrontations and another after storming his home} then withdrew at 04:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mostafa Mohamed Saher Al Masri, and Badr Hussam Al Razi in Nablus city.

Attack

At 23:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Joseph's Tomb" during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured a residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Islam Jihad Abdel-Azziz during clashes in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Raid

At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Al-Khader town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area located near the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.

Raid

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town and detained a resident.
2. On the evening of January 15th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Walja village and took photographs of 3 homes.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mustafa Al-Barmil in Al-Doha town.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 06:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp then stormed and searched a home.
2. At dawn on January 16th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and summoned Jamal Karamat to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Temporary Detention

At 14:15, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained Ayat Jamil Qufshiya {A resident of Hebron city} then released her at a later time.

Settlers Attacks

On January 15th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Migon" settlement and "Havat Migon" settlement outpost located in Al-Tuwani village located in east Yatta town installed barbed wire steel fences around a plot of land owned by Mir, Abu Qubtiya, Sharatih and Mughanan families in an attempt to confiscate the land.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

On the morning of January 15th 20118, Israeli forces escorting military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North Beit Hanun town then opened fire as they leveled a plot of land.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
