Flying Checkpoints

1.At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jadirat village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:55.

Raid

At dawn on January 16th 2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 4 residents.

Detention

1. At 04:00 on January 15th 2020, Israeli forces detained Muhanad Azzam Masaudat during their raid into Al-Eizariya town {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.
2.Israeli forces detained 4 residents:Tayseer Youssef Muheisen, Naseem Amjad Mohisin, Musab Mahmoud Mohisin, and Mohammed Ahmed Abu Riala in Al-Eisawiya village.

House Demolition

On January 15th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jabal Al-Mukabbir neighborhood in Jerusalem city forced 2 residents: Musa Kassab Bashir and Ammar Nayef Nassar to demolish their homes for allegedly being built without licenses {in order to avoide paying a fine in the event that the Israeli Military implemented the demolition order}.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Ur Al-Tahta village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 01:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ras Kar Kar village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 18:35, Israeli forces raided Beitin village.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town, Sanour and Al-Fanduqumiya villages.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident, detained 4 residents then withdrew at 02:50.
3. At 06:50, Israeli forces raided Bruqin town and Kafr Qud village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mohammed Shadi Jarrar {a resident of Jenin city}, Ahmed Walid Nabehan{a resident of Jenin city}, Mohammed Mahmoud Kaid {a resident of Jenin city} and Mohammed Mamoun Hawashin{a resident of Jenin camp} in Jenin city and its camp.

Attack

At 01:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin city and its camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes in Jenin city and its camp.

Settlers Attacks

On January 15th 2020, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the North Jordan valley and installed several electrical poles near the main road to a settlement out post located in Khillet Hamad area in order to connect the outpost to the main power grid.

At 23:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint Kaddumim settelement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

At 15:25, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Jayyous town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

2. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Madma village.
3. At 13:40, Israeli forces raided Qusra town, Qussin and Tel villages.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 07:00 on January 15th 2020, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Madma village and assaulted Diyana Fawzi Sadiqi Al-Qut and as a result left her hospitalised with contusions.
2. On January 15th 2020, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Madma village and attacked the home of Yahya Mohammad Sa'di Qut as they attempted to seize the home during which local residents were able to chase away the settlers.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 22:10,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Yasuf village.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Bidya town until 04:35.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20 and again at 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:55.
2. At 15:35,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15.

Land Confiscation

On January 15th 2020, Israeli forces served a military order for the confiscation of 350 dunums of land located in Baqoush,Khillet Thaher Al-Ain, Thaghrat Hamad, Al-Shaghaf, Zuqindih, Ain Qassis, Shush'halat and Al-Rajim area's located on Al-Khader town and Irtas village with the aim of expanding bypass road 60.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 15:00.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Ithna town until 05:25.
3. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed and searched several homes and summoned Foad Mohammad Al-Nawaj'at to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan districts.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 21:20 on January 15th 2020,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Air Strike

1. At 20:50 on January 15th 2020,Israeli military aircraft's launched 3 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 21:10 on January 15th 2020,Israeli military aircraft's launched 3 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in north west Beit Lahiya town.
3. At 21:20 on January 15th 2020,Israeli military aircraft's launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Jabaliya town.
4. At 21:40 on January 15th 2020,Israeli military aircraft's launched 3 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Jabaliya town.

Detention

At 20:20 on January 15th 2020, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun-Erez crossing point detained Salah Abdel-Malik Al-Qara {a merchant and a resident of Khan Yunis city} after he was summoned to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning at the crossing point.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 15:20 on January 15th 2020,Palestinian Gunmen launched 4 projectiles towards the Green Line.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 10:40 on January 15th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.

At 12:50 on January 15th 2020,Israeli forces opened fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 07:30 on January 15th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 14:50 on January 15th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 17:00 on January 15th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

At 19:00 on January 15th 2020,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
