JERUSALEM

Raid

At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Anata town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Musa Khalid Al-Qanabi and Khaled Saleem Al-Shalabi in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At dawn on January 18th 2018, Israeli forces detained 4 residents [including 3 children}:Ahmed Mohammed Dahbour 15 years, Alaa Riad Al-Ajlouni 16 years, Mohammed Basem Hijazi 14 years, and Mohammed Tappaha after storming their homes during the raid into the old city of Jerusalem.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hassan Hilhwa in Anata town.

House Demolition

On January 17th 2018,Israeli forces demolished a home {consisting of 2 rooms} owned by Al-Hadad family in Beit Hanina town for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima towm, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:40.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 06:20.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Dura Al-Qara' village and detained a resident.
4. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp.
5. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Beitin village.
6. At 07:20, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 4 residents.
7. At dawn on January 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.
8. At dawn on January 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes.
9. At dawn on January 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma village then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mizra'a Al-Sharqiya town detained Mohammad Faris Hamad {A resident of Silwad town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Samih Faris Al-Khatib in Beit Rima town.
3. Israeli forces detained Usayed Nassar Soliman Hamdan in Dura Al-Qara' village.
4. Israeli forces detained 4 residents :Raafat Anwar Jumaa Hamed, Ahmed Ahed Awad Hamed, Walid Zuhair Taha Hamed and Nazih Hamed in Silwad town.

Attack

1. At 02:10, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Beituniya town.

Closure of main Roads

At 16:15, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Mughier village with dirt mounds and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Jurba village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.

Raid

1. At 22:55, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camps, clashed with several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured 6 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Wadi Burqin area in Jenin city,clashed with a residents {who are allegedly wanted by the Israeli Military} as they surrounded their home and as a result killed a residents then demolished 3 homes and partially demolished another.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Barta'a village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmed Jamal Ahmed Quba and Salahuddin Subhi Jaradat in Jenin city.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohamed Hossam Abdullah Qabha in Barta'a village.

Attack

1. At 22:50, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured 4 residents and left several others suffocating from tear gas inhalation during their raid into Jenin city.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces opened fire and launched ENERGA anti-tank rifle grenades towards a home they surrounded and as a result killed a residents.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Ahmed Ismail Mohamed Jarrar {31 years old} during their raid into Wadi Burqin area in Jenin city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 residents: Majdi Adnan Nghangia, Moataz Walid Khaled Mansour, Qassim Mohammed Jabareen , and Musalim Ihab Adnan Salama during their raid into Jenin city and its camps.

House Demolition

At 00:30, Israeli forces demolished 4 homes {1 home partially demolished} owned by Ahmed Nasr Jarar, Ali Khaled Jarrar, Isma'il Muhammad Jarrar, and Yasin Jarrar (partial demolition) during their raid into Wadi Bruqin area in Jenin city.

Confiscation of Property

At 22:50, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera recorders from "Haifa" Gas Station during their raid into Jenin city.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30 and again at 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
5. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

Raid

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:00.

At 15:45, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Jayyous town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 21:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces raided Jama'in town and detained a resident.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Deir Sharaf and Qussin villages until 03:20.

Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Jihad Daoud in Jama'in town.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 22:40.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.
3. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Istiya town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Al-Dweik village located in North Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:15.

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Al-Jabr camp in Jericho city, clashed with several residents as the stormed several home,detained a resident then withdrew at 04:30.

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Rayiq Zakarna in Aqbat Jabr camp.

At 01:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Aqbat Al-Jabr camp in Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located in the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:15.
2. At 22:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:45.

Raid

1. At 02:20 on January 17th 2018, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city and detained 3 residents.
2. At dawn on January 17th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Asakra village and detained 2 residents.
3. At dawn on January 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and detained 2 residents.
4. At dawn on January 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and summoned the child: Mahmoud Ahmad Salah {9 years old} to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Detention

1. On January 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Container Military checkpoint detained Daud Amarin {A residents of Ajja village in Jenin district}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mo'men Ibrahim Hassan Malash, Asaad Rasheed Asaad Darwish and Yasin Abdel Rahman Rashid Abu Sorour during their raid into Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Awad Mahmoud Asakra and Mohammed Ali Ibrahim Asakra during their raid into Al-Asakra village.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents:Mohammed Khader Musa Salama and Bilal Musa Salama during their raid into Bethlehem city.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of January 17th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers raided Al-Zahra neighborhood in Beit Ta'mar village then stormed "Al-Tahadi" school after breaking open the entrances then installed a tent in the school yard during which local resiednts were able to kick them out of the area.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Shalat road in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arub camp then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces raided Ithna town then stormed and searched a home.
2. On the evening of January 17th 2018, Israeli forces raided Deir Sammit village then stormed and searched several merchant shops.
3. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and Sinjir area in Dura town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Fakhouri near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents:Mohammed Ibrahim al-Fakhouri, {A resident of Hebron city} and Abdullah Mohammed Othman Ebeidu during their raid into Hebron city and Sinjir area in Dura town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

1. At 10:00 on January 17th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military Bulldozers stormed 100m into Deir Al-Balah city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 11:00.
2. At 11:00 on January 17th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military Bulldozers stormed 100m into Al-Buriej camp and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 12:00.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 07:00 on January 17th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military Bulldozers stormed 70 m into east Al-Qarara town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 10:00.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
