WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Aqab, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Abdullah Akramawi, in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.
2. At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Qalandia military checkpoint detained the citizen: Muhammad Khaled Hamad - a resident of Qalandia camp.
3. The detainee in the town of Kafr Aqab is: Ahmed Khaled Hamad - a resident of Qalandia camp.

Destruction of Property

On 01/17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces demolished the “Fakhr al-Salam” nursery owned by the family of the citizen: Mahmoud Salhia, after the family was forced to evacuate its contents in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Assaults on Property

At 09:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, surrounded the house of the citizen: Mahmoud Salhia, in an attempt to evacuate the house of its residents in preparation for its demolition and control of the land surrounding it. on eviction.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of Rawabi city, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 09:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh (near the “Beit El” settlement), to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Atara, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 16:30.

Raid

1. At 06:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Silwad, and detained 4 civilians.
2. At dawn on 01/18/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ein Yabroud, and detained a citizen.
3. At dawn on 01/18/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Ramallah, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At 16:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at one of the military checkpoints detained the citizen: Abd al-Raziq Saeed al-Khasib - a resident of the village of Arora, while he was on his way to the city of Bethlehem.
2. The 4 detainees in Silwad town are: Muhammad Hassan Hammad, Ismail Siraj, Mustafa Abdel Raouf Atsha, and Antar Iyad Hamed.
3. The detainee in the village of Ein Yabroud is: Amin Arman.
4. The detainee in the city of Ramallah is: Muhammad Hassan Mufreh.

JENIN

Attack

At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Jaba fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while confiscating surveillance camera recordings (on the pretext that they had been shot at earlier), which led to the injury of 2 civilians.

Injuries

Two unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Jaba.

Settlers Attacks

On 01/17/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers, with the protection of the occupation forces, stormed the ruins of the evacuated “Tersla” settlement, and withdrew at a later time.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the town of Azzoun and the village of Izbat al-Tibib, and detained 2 civilians.
2. At 16:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzoun, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Detention

The two detainees at a flying checkpoint between the town of Azzun and the village of Ezbet Al-Tabib are: Ibrahim Mahmoud Sweidan and Laith Walid Odeh - (both of them are residents of the town of Azzun).

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 19:40,the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Nablus, escorting a group of Israeli settlers to visit (Joseph's Tomb) during which clashes took place with the citizens, resulting in the injury of a citizen then withdrew at 04:20.
2. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beita (after a settler with his vehicle entered the town), where confrontations took place with the citizens, as a result of which 2 civilians were injured, and a family of 7 people suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Detention

At 04:40 on 01/17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Haitham Mazouz Hamayel during their raid into the town of Beita (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report),

Attack

1. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces near the entrance to the village of Burqa fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen, and left 17 civilians suffocated as a result of tear gas inhalation.
2. At 19:40, during their raid into the city of Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while escorting a group of settlers to visit (Joseph's Tomb), which resulted in the injury of a citizen.
3. At 20:00,the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens (after a settler entered the town with his vehicle), on the pretext that it had been pelted with stones, as a result of which 2 civilians were injured, and a family was injured and left 7 civilians suffocation due to inhalation of tear gas during their raid into the town of Beita.

1.A unidentified civilian was injured during confrontations with the occupation forces near the entrance to the village of Burqa.
2. A unidentified civilian was injured during confrontations with the occupation forces in the city of Nablus.
3. Two wounded unidentified civilian were injured during confrontations with the occupation forces in the town of Beita.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:00, a group of Israeli settlers with their vehicles closed the main entrance to the village of Naqoura - which is the alternative way to reach the villages northwest of Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 10:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00 and again at 20:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tekoa to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 22:30.
2. At 18:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Janata town, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 20:10.

Raid

1. At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 14:25.
2. At 03:40the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tekoa, detained 8 civilians (including 2 children), and withdrew at 06:00.

Detention

1. The two detainees in the town of Beit Fajjar are: Muhammad Abd Shalalda and Ahmad Abd Muhammad Abd al-Hamid Shalalda.
2. The eight detainees in the town of Tekoa are: Hamza Adnan Al-Badan, Moaz Nabil Salman, Bahaa Saqr Salman, Yahya Musa Al-Shaer, Muhyi Al-Din Nayef Salman, Marwan Fouad Sabah, Mujahid Hussein Hajjajeh 16 years old, and Omar Suleiman Hajjajha 16 years old.

Attack

At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces, present in the vicinity of the "Kfar Etzion" settlement roundabout, opened fire towards and killed a citizen, under the pretext of trying to stab a soldier.

Killings

The civilian: Faleh Musa Shaker Jaradat, 39 years old - a resident of Sa'ir town, Hebron governorate was killed by Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the "Kfar Etzion" settlement roundabout.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 01:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar and detained a citizen.
2. At 04:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bani Naim, stormed and searched a house, and confiscated gold jewelry, amounting to 6000 Jordanian dinars.
3. At 06:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Shuyoukh, and detained a citizen.
4. At dawn on 01/18/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The detainee in the town of Beit Ummar is: Farhan Musa Alqam.
2. The detainee in the town of Al-Shuyoukh is: Salama Abd Musa and Rasneh.
3. The detainee in the city of Hebron is: Radwan Abdullah Abu Daoud.

Confiscation of Property

At 04:25, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated gold coins and 6000 Jordanian dinars from the home of the citizen: Mubarak Alyan Zaidat during their raid into the town of Bani Naim.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by storming our areas in the North Gaza Governorate, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis Governorate, and by firing at the boats of fishermen at sea in the North Gaza and Khan Yunis governorates.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/17/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

Raid

At 09:30 on 01/17/ 2022, several vehicles and bulldozers of the Israeli occupation army, covered by reconnaissance planes, stormed our areas, about 70 meters deep, north of Beit Lahia, and carried out excavation and bulldozing work, and withdrew at 14:00.

Attack

At 10:30 on 01/17/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while they were chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

1. At 08:30 on 01/17/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis.
2. At 19:15 on 01/17/ 2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them in the open sea off the shore of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/17/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/17/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
