WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jab a' Military checkpoint located along the main road connecting Jerusalem , Ramallah and Jericho and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Silwan neighborhood then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Qalandiya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bir Nabala town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Hizma town {after the alleged stoning of a bus carrying Israeli settlers}, clashed with several residents and forces stores in the area to close down.
2. On January 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mustafa Kashour in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Hizma town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint opened fire towards a vehicles for allegedly attempting to run over a Israeli soldier.
3. At 22:10, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hizma town.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 17:40, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Hizma town with cement blocks.
2. At 19:50, Israeli forces closed all the entrances leading to Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city for alleged shooting towards surveillance camera located in the area and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp then searched resiednts and vehicles until 12:00.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beitin village and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions.

Raid

At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Jrier village until 20:30.

Closure of main Roads

At 20:00, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Hizma town with cement blocks and closed the steel gate south entrances to town} and impeded the free flow of traffic.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Jenin city until 06:15.
2. At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town, stormed and searched 2 homes, detained 4 residents, confiscated a Cellular telephone and a surveillance camera recorders from a home then withdrew at 06:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents:Jihad Azmi Abdul Qader Freihat, Abdul Qader Azmi Abdul Qader Freihat { residents of Al Yamoun town}, Yahya Numan Abu Al Hija {A resident of Jenin city}, and Mustafa Al Karam { A resident of Jenin city}.

Confiscation of Property

At 04:45, Israeli forces confiscated a Cellular telephone and a surveillance camera recorders from the home of Azmi Abdel-Qadder Farihat during their raid into Al-Yamoun town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajja village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus located in North Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 19:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. On January 18th 2018, Israeli forces closed Awarta military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Nablus city and Assira town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Awarta village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:45.

Attack

At 20:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Awrata village.

Closure of main Roads

On January 18th 2018,Israeli forces closed the entrance of Osarin village, the south entrance of Tell village with dirt mounds and Al-Muraba'a area located near Tel village with cement blocks and the bypass road near "Yitshar" settlement leading to Jit village junction in Qalqiliya and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic.

SALFIT

Raid

At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town until 14:40.

JERICHO

Raid

At 09:50, Israeli forces raided Fasayil village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 14:20.
2. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jurat Al-Sham'a village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:40.
4. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

Detention

At 15:10, Israeli forces detained the child: Mohammad Yusef Mahmoud Al-Barbari {A Special needs patient}{A resident of Al-Azza camp} near Al-Ayda camp cemetery in North Bethlehem city.

Temporary Detention

At 09:45, Israeli forces temporarily detained Areej Fakhri Abdel-Azziz Najjar {A resident of Bethlehem city} then released her at 11:35.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:55, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the south entrance of Hebron city, Wadi Al-Juz area {at the entrance of Bani Na'im town} and at Al-Fuwar junction then searched resiednts and vehicles until 11:20.

Raid

At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdel-Mu'ti Mohammad Al-Adraba in Beit Ulla town.

Temporary Detention

At 12:40, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained Hadi Ayaed Hussien Abu Sineineh {13 years old} then released them at 16:40.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:30 on January 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
