JERUSALEM

Raid

At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Hizma town {after an alleged stoning incident towards a settler bus}.

Detention

At dawn on January 19th 2019, Israeli forces detained Eyad Alaa Ghayth in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At dawn on January 19th 2019, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning (Following verbal exchanges between residents and settlers) and as a result injured 4 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On January 18th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and PMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village and clashed with several residents.
3. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Qibya viillage , stormed a home then withdrew at 00:35.

Attack

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Risan area located near Ras Kar Kar village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against land confiscation and settler violence} for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Al-Mughier village.
3. At 12:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Nil'in village.
4. At 13:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Bil'in village.
5. At 14:00, Israeli forces Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Deir Intham village.

Settlers Attacks

On January 18th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Abu Al-Hanoun area located in Al-Mughier village and chopped off the limbs of approximately 20 Olive trees owned by Jamal Abdallah Al-Na'san and Maher Riziq Al-Na'san.

Raid

1. On January 18th 2019, Israeli forces raided Deir Ghazzala village then stormed and searched a home.
2. At dawn on January 19th 2019, Israeli forces raided Arraba town then stormed and searched a home.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 13:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint until 16:35.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:50.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents including Nasfat Mahmoud Ishtawi during clashes in Kafr Qaddum village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained the child Tarik Hikmat Istewi {14 years old} during clashes in Kafr Qaddum village.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:55.

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Furiq town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:10.

Raid

At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Iraq Burin village until 15:00.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Salfit city and Bruqin town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:40.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Detention

At 11;15, Israeli forces detained Saddam Salem Ka'abna {A resident of Al-Jiftlik village}.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

On January 18th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town the searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 12:30, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident then temporarily detained 3 residents {including a customs Police officer} then released them at 21:30.

Temporary Detention

At 12:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 residents {including a customs Police officer}: Helmi Mohamed El Amour, Anwar Mahmoud El Amour, Ahmed Gamal El Amour, and Ayoub Samir Mohamed El Amour during their raid into Teqou' town then released them at 21:30.

Attack

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Teqou' town and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 18:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents in Al-Khader Stadium located in in Al-Khader town for alleged stoning and as a result left 2 soccer players suffocated from tear gas inhalation .

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Mohammad Thiyab Mohammad Al-Amour during clashes in Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Juz area {located at the entrance of Bani Na'im town} then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.

Attack

At 16:55, Israeli forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area located in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At 19:55, Israeli forces confiscated a agricultural tractor owned by Nidal Hashash Samamrat in Khirbeit Al-Zanuta village located in south Al-Thahriya town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Rafah District.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 35 residents } and left 220 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 08:50 on January 18th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats demonstrating off the shores Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 14:00 on January 18th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 5 residents and left 28 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 5 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town.

Detention

At 10:30 on January 18th 2019, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents in Jabaliya town as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 14:00 on January 18th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 9 residents and left 30 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 9 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 14:00 on January 18th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 3 residents and left 35 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 14:00 on January 18th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 17 residents and left 100 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 17 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Raid

At 09:00 on January 18th 2019, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100 m into the vicinity of east Rafah and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 12:00.

Attack

At 14:00 on January 18th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as as a result injured 1 resident left 27 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Rafah city.
