Daily Report January 21, 2018

1. On January 20th 2018, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at Al-Khan Al-Ahmar junction {located along the main road connecting Jerusalem and Jericho} and at the entrances of Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Hizma and Anata towns.

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts near Al-Quds University campus and as a result injured 5 residents and left 33 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at Salah Al-Din road in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators and as a result injured 7 residents {including a child and 2 women} after being struck by tear gas canisters leaving them hospitalized and detained a resident.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. On the evening of January 20th 2018, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Hizma town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents.

1. Israeli forces injured 5 unidentified residents during clashes near Al-Quds University in Abu Dis town.
2. Israeli forces injured 7 unidentified residents during clashes near Salah Al-Din road in Jerusalem city.

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at Salah Al-Din road in Jerusalem city detained Abdel-Rahim Iz Al-Din Albdel-Rahim Barbar {A resident of Jerusalem city} as he was participating in demonstrations protesting agianst the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem.

1. At 10:35 and again at 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 23:50.
4. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Turmus'ya town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Awarta town and summoned 2 residents: Adam Mufid Ali Al-Khasib, and Islam Abdullah to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint Ya'bad town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.

1. At 15:05, Israeli forces raided Jaba' town, clashed with several residents and as a result shattered the windows of 2 homes then withdrew at 14:30.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Jenin camp and Wadi Bruqin area and occupied a home {under construction} ,converted its rooftop into a Military post then withdrew at 04:50.

On January 17th 2018, Israeli forces detained Waqas Hafith Rida Jarar {A resident of Wadi Bruqin area in Jenin city}.

At 15:05, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jaba' town and as a result shattered the windows of 2 homes.

2. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Muntar area located near Jayyous town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 20:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 00:40.

At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Awrata village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites and performed Telmudic rituals then withdrew at 03:00.

On January 20th 2018, Hussien Husni Sa'id Attallah {57 years old}{A resident of Nablus city} {A Cancer patient} died due to medical negligence by Israeli Prison authorities.

1. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

1. Israeli forces detained Bahaa Aref Dakhel-Allah Amor and Nur Kamal Ismael Muammar in Teqou town.

4. At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained 2 children.
5. At dawn on January 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Surif town and detained 2 residents.
6. At dawn on January 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Shiyoukh Al-Arrub village , detained 2 residents and summoned 2 residents:Abdul-Kamal Al-Titi and Mohammed Rabah Fadilat to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
7. At dawn on January 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town and summoned Khaldoun Nour Al-Din Al-Mahariq to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Musa Rashid, and his sons Nizar and Musab in Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nour Abdel Hafez Abu Shamaa {15 years old}, and Jabr Rabhi Jabr Badawi {15 years old}in Al-Arrub camp.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahdoush Ahmed Ahdoush and Alaa Faisal Arar in Surif town.
4. Israeli forces detained Ayad Oweidat in Shiyoukh Al-Arrub village.

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Fuwar camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
