WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Aya Abu Nab, Hamza Abu Nab and Mohammad Khalid Sharifat near Bab Huta gate {a main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Yahya Al-Daqaq in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. On the evening of January 20th 2020, Israeli forces detained the child: Sa'di Awad Al-Salayma {15 years old} in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Assault on Educational sector

On January 20th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders closing "Abdallah Bin Al-Hussien" secindary girls school located in Al-Shiekh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem city and plan on sending students to another school in order to take over the school building and turn it into a industrial school.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 02:40,Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Nur Al-Shams camp, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:35.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hussien Hilmi Abu Shanab {a resident of Tulkarem city} and Rami Assad Abu Shalbiyat {a resident of Nur Al Shams camp} during their raids into Tulkarem city and Nur Al-Shams camp.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:20 and 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sara village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1.At dawn on January 20th 2020, Israeli forces raided the east neighborhoods of Nablus city.
2. At dawn on January 21st 2020, Israeli forces raided Zuwata village and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on January 21st 2020, Israeli forces raided Burin village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mazen Salah in Zuwata village.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Mash'hour Al-Najjar in Burin village.

At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 23:55, Israeli forces positined at Al-Hamra military checkpoint detained 2 residents: Muneer Ibrahim Mahmoud Foqaha and Ali Mahmoud Ali Ariyan {both are residents of Tubas city}.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

On the evening of January 20th 2020, Israeli forces raided Khirbeit Al-Deir area located in Teqou' town {after 2 Israeli settlers were injured after alleged stoning towards their vehicle in the area}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched several homes.
2. At dawn on January 21st 2020,Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained 5 residents.
3. At dawn on January 21st 2020, Israeli forces raided Deir Sammit village and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on January 21st 2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Qum village then stormed and searched 2 homes.
5. At dawn on January 21st 2020, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, detained 3 residents {including a child} and summoned 2 residents: Mohammad Musa Saud Awad and Saed Adnan Ahmad Mutliq Za'aqiq to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1.At 14:20, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Yusef Abu Arqub {a resident of Dura town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained 5 residentsHani Jaara, Rami Mohammed Hadib, Qusay Wael al-Badawi, Maher Zuhair Abu Warda, and Ashraf Samir Jawbara :in Al-Arrub camp.
3. Israeli forces detained Daud Abdel-Wahab Al-Haroub in Deir Sammit village.
4.Israeli forces detained 3 residents:Rashid Bashar Issa Zaaqiq, Mohsen Mohammed Mohsen Zaaiq, Malik Ayish Khalil Abu Maria {17 years old} in Beit Ummar town.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of January 20th 2020, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Bani Na'im town junction stoned several vehicles travelling in the area and as a result damaged the vehicle owned by Eyad Barakat {a resident of Yatta town}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North North Gaza,Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan districts.

At 09:30 on January 20th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agriculural land in east Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1.At 07:20 on January 20th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.
2. At 09:30 on January 20th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards agricultural land in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

At 16:45 on January 20th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp.

1. At 11:45 on January 20th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents posoiutone dnear the border fence in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 13:15 on January 20th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents posoiutone dnear the border fence in east Al-Faraheen area located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
