WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 10:30 on January 22nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.
2. At 07:10 on January 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 16:10, Israeli forces detained Ghada Abdel Muti Mahmoud Al - Zaghir {A resident of Wadi Al-Juz neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
2. At dawn on January 23rd 2018, Israeli forces detained 4 children: Amir Hazem Al-Sayyad {16 years old}, Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Al-Hawa {14 years old}, Muhammad Tareq Abu Ghannam {14 years old} and Yazan Salfiti {14 years old} after storming their homes in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. At dawn on January 23rd 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Shamasnah in Beit Hanina town.
4. At dawn on January 23rd 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 children: Mohammed Fayez Al-Rajabi {15 years old} and Harbi Nidal Rajabi {15 years old} in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
5. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Youssef Thaer Farhan, Saleh Motair, Sol Majed Moutair in Qalandiya camp.

Attack

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Anata town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Turmus'aya town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:15.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.

Attack

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces positioned along the bypass road in Kafr Malik village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and temporarily detained 3 children then released them at a later time.
2. At 15:25, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
3. At 15:45, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Mughier village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 17:15, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Turmus'aya town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:40, Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} assaulted 3 Bedouin residents {including a woman and her son} and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured Ahmad Ziyad Mutier {16 years old} during clashes near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp.
2. Israeli settlers assaulted and injured 3 Bedouin residents {including a woman and her son}:Sheikha Suleiman Ramadan {45 years}, Saber Ibrahim Saber Kaabna, and Ahmed Ziad Moussa near Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts}and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.

Temporary Detention

At 13:40, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 children: Ali Khalil Mohammed Kaabna {10 years old}, Anas Younis Mohammed Abu Eid{ 7 years old}, and Walsam Khaled Abu Ghra during clashes along the bypass road in Kafr Malik village then released them at a later time.

Closure of main Roads

At 19:55, Israeli forces closed the North and West entrances of Sinjil town with cement blocks.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad, Arraba and Jaba' towns and Zubaba, Rumana, Anin, Al-Taybeh, Masilat and Ajja villages.
2. At 06:40, Israeli forces raided Jenin city,Jenin camp and Wadi Bruqin area and detained 3 residents in Wadi Bruqin area then withdrew at 07:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 resiednts: Suhaib Nasr Jarrar, Wissam Essam Jarrar and Leith Mehdi Jarrar during their raid into Jenin city,Jenin camp and Wadi Bruqin area.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Assaults on Property

On January 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Qa'uun area located near Bardala village in the North Jordan valley served military orders for the leveling of 30 Dunums of agricultural land planted with Olive trees and crops.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya town and Nazlat Abu Al-Nar village until 14:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous and Sir village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous town and Kafr Jamal then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city and detained 3 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 resident: Samir Sufian Abdel Karim Zouroub, Qassem Abdel Hafiz and Lotfi Jaidi in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At dawn on January 22nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and detained a resident.
2. At 12:05, Israeli forces raided Yatma village until 17:10.
3. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town, detained a resident then withdrew at 02:30.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Samer Omar Mohammad Abu Hamdan in Nablus city.
2. Israeli forces detained Saddam Salamah Hanini in Beit Furiq town.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 14:00, a Israeli settler's vehicle travelling along the main road in Huwara town ran over the child Nijmah Arafat Abdel-Raheem Odah {16 years old} as she was leaving her school and as a result left her hospitalized with contusions.
2. At 16:20, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the south area of Madma village during which Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack.

Injuries

The child Nijmah Arafat Abdel-Raheem Odah {16 years old} was hospitalized with contusions after a Israeli settler's vehicle travelling along the main road in Huwara town ran her over.

Attack

At 16:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent settler attacks in the south area of Madma village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 08:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction checkpoint and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic until 09:30.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Land Levelling

At 11:25, Israeli forces stormed North Salfit city and leveled a plot of land located near "Arail" settlement.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 14:10.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area located near the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.
3. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 14:00.
2. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 03:55.

Assaults on Property

1. At 11:25, Israeli forces stormed Khilat Al-Nakhlah area in Khalayil Al-Louz village and served a military order to halt construction on a water well on land owned by Mohammad Yahya Ayash for allegedly being built with out a licence.
2. At 11:25, Israeli forces stormed Khilat Al-Nakhlah area in Khalayil Al-Louz village and served a military order for the evacuation of agricultural land approximately 50 dunums owned by Jubran family.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fa'hs area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 18:50, Israeli forces raided Wadi Al-Wutwat area located near Surif town.

Detention

At 19:35, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron detained Baha Hassan Hussien Al-Sharawnah {A resident of Dura town} for allegdly attempting to stab a Israeli Soldier.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza Districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 08:30 on January 21st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jahr Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.
2. At 14:30 on January 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators at Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Detention

At 13:00 on January 22nd 2018, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents in east Khan Yunis city as he attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed with the exception of the entry of 2 fuel trucks.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
