WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces positioned in Jerusalem city detained Salma Imad Rajeh Shbeita {a resident of Azzun town in Qalqiliya district}.
2. At 02:35, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya military checkpoint detained Abdel-Min'eim Ibrash {a resident of Al-Amary camp in Al-Bireh city}.

Deportation

1.On January 21st 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning Mohammad Yahya Al-Daqaq {a resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 1 week as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
2. On January 22nd 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning 2 residents: Raed Al-Zaghir {Employee of the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem} and Mohammad Al-Shalabi from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a 1 week period as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

As of 22. 01. 2020 The occupation authorities decided to increase working hours at the "Court" checkpoint located near the settlement of "Beit El" north of the city of Al-Bireh, where vehicles will be allowed to leave ramallah from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily, and vehicles will be allowed to enter Ramallah. From 06:00 to 02:00 am daily.

At 16:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Omar Abdel-Ghaffar Al-Tamimi in Deir Intham village.

TUBAS

Raid

At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Tubas city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Isreali forces detained 2 residents: Hamid Jawad Hamid Dragma, Mohammed Hussein Yusuf Dragma in Tubas city.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 12:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Ghouson town until 13:15.

At 09:45, Israeli forces raided Halbat town until 10:45.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:40,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.

Detention

At 13:20, Israeli forces detained Mohammaf Sa'di Al-Sakhel {a resident of Nablus city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegce for questioning.

Land Confiscation

On January 22nd 2020, The occupying forces issued a military order to confiscate an area of citizens' land belonging to the villages of Burin, Tal and Madma, which extends from the Madma village bridge and is located on both sides of the 3 km-log Estani road leading to the military control tower located near the village of Tel, under the pretext of military purposes.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafr Al-Labbad and Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:45.
2. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:55.

Detention

At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara Military checkpoint detained 2 residents: Yazan Mahmoud Ibrahim and Hamza Ismail Ibrahim {both are residents of Anata town in Jerusalem city}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zabidat village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:55 and 17:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
2. At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehiclesuntil 11:55.

Temporary Detention

At 17:15, Israeli forces temporarily detained Ali Mustafa Al-Wahish {94 years old}{a resident of Bethlehem city as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then released him at a later time.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30 on January 22nd 2020 and again at 07:30 on January 23rd 2020, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Uthna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 13:05, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish military checkpoint located in the old city of Hebron detained Mohammad Khalid Abu Turki {25 years old}{a special needs patient}.

Attack

On the evening of January 22nd 2020,Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

At 15:30 on January 22nd 2020,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
