JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Anata town and detained a resident after storming his home.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
3. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Mukhmas village and clashed with several residents.

Detention

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ahmad Al-Shobaki in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. At dawn on January 24th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Musa Dabash and Shareef Ja'abis in Sur Bahir village.
3. Israeli forces detained Imad Jum'a Al-Silwadi in Anata town.

Attack

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Mikhmas village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On January 23rd 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and PMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Nitham village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mughier village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. On the evening of January 23rd 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road near "Bet El' settlement and leading to Al-Jalazoun camp then detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint set along the main road near "Bet El' settlement and leading to Al-Jalazoun camp detained Malik Basbous {A resident of Al-Jalazoun camp}.

Attack

At 12:55, Israeli forces positioned near the entrances of Deir Abu Mash'al and Al-Mughier villages fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 13:35, Israeli forces raided Anin village.
2. At 22:05, Israeli forces raided Jaba' and Al-Sila Al-Harthiya towns and Sanour and Aja villages until 06:50.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 23:05, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Shwikiya neighborhood and Nur Al-Shams camp until 04:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:15 and again at 01:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, clashed with several residents and detained a resident.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and detained 2 residents.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Sir village and detained a resident.
4. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Jayous town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Saqleh Odah Nazal in Qalqiliya city.
2. Israeli forces detained Abu Hamza Hussien and Yahya Ali Adwan in Azzun town.
3. Israeli forces detained Sir Mohammad Mahmoud Za'rour in Sir village.
4. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Abdel Rahim Salim in Jayous town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 18:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 19:35,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sara village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqiliya} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yatma village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

3. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and summoned Majd Azzam to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

6. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town and detained a resident.

1. At 20:25, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Kareem Husni Falah {A resident of Beita town} after storming a stone mill in Jamai'n town.
2. Israeli forces detained Sultan Farouq Mohammad Abu Saris {A resident of Tulkarem city} in Huwara town.
3. Israeli forces detained Yazan Mahmoud Hanini in Beit Furiq town.
4. Israeli forces detained Imad Ribhi Al-Haj Mohammad in Beit Dajjan village.

Closure of main Roads

At 07:50 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Osarin village with dirt mounds.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 11:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

3. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Baqar area located near Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west village of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, stormed and searched a home , detained a child then withdrew at 18:30.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city.
3. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town.
4. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.
5. At dawn on January 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village and detained 2 residents {including a child}.

1. Israeli forces detained Shawkat Amjad Salah {16 years old} in Al-Khader town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ammar Mohammad Khalil Sahakarna {17 years old} and Fadi Ribhi Husni Zidan in Nohalin village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Kahil town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Wadi Al-Qaf road {which leads to Tarqumiya and Beit Ola towns} and detained a resident.
4. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Hebron city {located along bypass road 25 near Halhul town bridge} then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town.
2. At dawn on January 24th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 02:10 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli forces detained Tamer Jamal Al-Ja'bari during their raid into Hebron city {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At dawn on January 24th 2019, Israeli forces detained Nasser Talib Abu Sinieneh in the old city of Hebron.
3. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located along Wadi Al-Qaf road {which leads to Tarqumiya and Beit Ola towns} detained Sidqi Yunis Sidqi Al-Atrash.
4. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mohammad Awwad in Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:00 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 13:00 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:00 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in south east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 15:10 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 20:30 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 16:15 on January 23rd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
