WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

At dawn on January 3rd 2018, Israeli forces detained Ahamd Faraj Mohammad Da'na in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 21st consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicle until 11:30.

Raid

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 11:50, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Bani Harith village and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 14:50.
3. At 12:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Mighier village then withdrew at 14:45.
4. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Kobar town and clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 2 homes.
5. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Dibwan village , detained 4 residents then withdrew at 06:10.
6. At dawn on January 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Sinjil town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Imad Nasser Khalil Habis, Mohammad Khalid Abdel-Karim, Ali Ahmad Hussien Al-Barghouthi and Khalid Musa Harman in Deir Abu Mas'al village.

Attack

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beituniya town.
2. At 11:50, Israeli force fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Khirbithat Bani Harith village.
3. At 12:25,Israeli force fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Mughier village.
4. At 22:30, Israeli force fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 2 homes during their raid into Kobar town.

JENIN

Raid

1. On the evening of January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 05:35, Israeli forces raided Faqu'a village and detained 2 residents {including the head of the local village council}.
3. At dawn on January 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Jenin camp and Bruqin town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes in Jenin camp and detained 2 residents in Jenin camp and Bruqin town.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Barakat Omar Al-Omari {the head of the local village council} and Hisham Mahmoud Abu Farha in Faqu'a village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Husam Abu Attiya {A resident of Jenin camp} and Osama Turman {A resident of Bruqin town} in Jenin camp and Bruqin town.

Attack

1. On the evening of January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ya'bad town.
2. At dawn on January 3rd 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin camp.

Military Checkpoints

At 16:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayassir" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 17:25.

At 16:40, Israeli forces raided Tammoun town.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:00 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:25.

At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Safarin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 11;05, Israeli forces raided Rammin village until 12:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun Atma village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces raided Habalat town.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village, clashed with several residents for alleged stoning, detained 4 children {including a child} and assaulted 2 residents {including a woman} and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions then withdrew at 01:00.
3. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Imatin village, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:30.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ahmed Abdullah Amer {13 years old}, Yazen Montaser Barhoum, Ghaleb Hilmi Shati, and Diaa Rajab Juma in Kobar village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Malak Mahmoud Bari and Mohammad Ammar Mahmoud Bari in Immatin village.

Attack

At 16:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Qaddum village.

Physical Assault

At 16:30, Israeli forces assaulted 2 residents: Sanad Khader Barham and Subhim Barham during their raid into Kafr Qaddum village and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces closed Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic {for alleged maintenance work at the checkpoint} then reopened it at 12:45.

Raid

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces raided Aqraba town until 10:20.
2. At 20:55, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb and clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents {including a Journalist and a Paramedic}.

Attack

At 20:55, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured 2 residents {including a Journalist and a Paramedic}.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents {including a Journalist and a Paramedic}: Baker Mohammad Sabah Mamdouh Abdel-Haq {A journalist} and Yassin Samir Mustafa Imran {A Paramedic} during clashes in Nablus city..

SALFIT

Raid

At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Dweik village located in North Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zabidat village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village, confiscated a caravan owned by Bilal Ahmad Fanoun and served a military order for the demolition of a home owned by Samer Fayez Shakarna and served a military order to halt construction on a home owned by Shareef Musalam Najajrat for allegedly being built with out a licence then withdrew at 12:30.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Husan village, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:00.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Ali Amer Sabatin, and Amr Ramadan Mohammed Zaalin Husan village

At 11:10, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Teqou town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At 11:15, Israeli forces confiscated a caravan owned by Bilal Ahmad Fanoun for alleged being built with out a licence.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town then stormed and searched several homes.
2. At dawn on January 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, Beit Awwa and Yatta towns then searched residents and vehicles.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza,Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 10:15 on January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Hanoun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 11:00 on January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land located in east Al-Qarara town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

1. At 11:00 on January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
2. At 11:45 on January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
3. At 14:00 on January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several resiednts near the border fence in east Rafah city.
4. At 19:25 on January 2nd 2019, At 11:00 on January 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
