WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Nasser Abu Aliya and Mustafa Al-Kabsat in Qalandiya camp.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 25th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. On January 6th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Ein Sinya village road and stopped the vehicle of Sufiyan Sulta {The Palestinian Minister of Agriculture} then allowed him to pass through after searching his vehicle.

Raid

At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, clashed with several residents as they stormed several merchant shops in Al-Bireh city industrial zone and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation and then fired tear gas canisters towards the Palestinian Civil defense headquarters.

Attack

At 11:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several merchant shops during their raid into in Al-Bireh city industrial zone and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation and then at 16:20 fired tear gas canisters towards the Palestinian Civil defense headquarters.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in Al-Bireh city.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 16:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards towards the Palestinian Civil defense headquarters during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Abba village junction and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Hassan Saleem Zidan {A resident of Beit Qad village} near Abba village junction.

TUBAS

Raid

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Tubas city, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:00.
2. At dawn on January 7th 2019, Israeli forces raided Tammoun town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Muthqal Na'im Daraghma in Tubas city.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 16:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 11:35, Israeli forces raided Tel village until 12:35.
2. At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Awrata village, detained a resident then withdrew at 02:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Nijim Awad in Awarta village.

Settlers Attacks

On January 6th 2019, a group of settlers from the "777" settlement outpost entered the agricultural land of the village of Khirbet Yanun, stole about 15 olive trees and almonds after they were uprooted by a bulldozer, and placed a number of caravans next to the settlement outpost. Expansion at the expense of citizens' lands.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:05.

Raid

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubadiya town, stormed a restaurant and confiscated surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 12:00.
2. At 18:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 18:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Fajjar town.

Confiscation of Property

At 11:00, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage after storming and searching "Al-Na'im" restaurant during their raid into Al-Ubidiya.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30 and again at 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Ummar town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.
3. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Awwa town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 04:30,Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town and detained a Civil Defense Force officer.
2. At dawn on January 7th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on January 7th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Arroub camp and summoned Diya Al-Teti to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
4. At dawn on January 7th 2019, Israeli forces raided Khursa town and detained a resident.
5. At dawn on January 7th 2019, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya, Ithna and Beit Awwa towns.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Hamza Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Rashawda {a Civil Defense Force officer} in Al-Samou' town.
2. Israeli forces detained Raed Jamal Qufshiya in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Rami Zidan Khalil Kassar in Khursa town.

Settlers Attacks

On the afternoon of January 6th 2019, Israeli settlers from "Asfar" settlement stormed agricultural land in Al-Shiyoukh town located near the settlement and uprooted 60 Olive groves owned by Musa Ahmad Ayadat.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Military fighter jets launched several missiles {in 4 consecutive air strikes} towards North Gaza, Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by launching projectiles towards the Green Line.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 10:00 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jabaliya town.

Air Strike

At 05:50 on January 7th 2019, Israeli military aircraft's launched 3 missile {in 2 consecutive airstrikes} towards Palestinian gunmen sites in west Beit Lahiya town.

Palestinian Attacks

At 03:20 on January 7th 2019, Palestinian gunmen launched projectiles towards the Green Line.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 07:00 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.
2. At 10:00 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.
3. At 17:50 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards 2 Palestinian gunmen site located in east Gaza city.
4. At 17:55 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jahir Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.

At 17:30 on January 6th 2019, Israeli military aircraft's launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:50 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified child after opening fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 07:00 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 11:00 on January 6th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Air Strike

At 17:10 on January 6th 2019, Israeli military aircraft's launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
