WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 21:35, Israeli forces closed Jaba' military checkpoint located along the main road connecting Jerusalem, Ramallah & Al-Bireh and Jericho districts and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town tunnel then searched residents and vehicles until 14:20.

Raid

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city and detained a resident.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Qatana village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 17:40, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Rabah Mohammad Hamad {A resident of Qalandiya camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained Raed Ahmad Ali in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Sabah Mahmoud Tabanjat in Qatana village.

Deportation

At 15:30, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a Order banning Hamza Mahmoud Ahmad Nimr {A resident of Sur Baher village} from Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 3 months as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 27th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.
2. At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 11:50.
3. At 19:35, Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and Al-Amari camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops then inspected surveillance camera footage and as a result injured 3 residents.

Attack

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beituniya town.
2. At 19:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops then inspected surveillance camera footage during their raid into Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and Al-Amari camp and as a result injured 3 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents { of those identified}: Jihad Moath Jaber during clashes in Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and Al-Amari camp.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 13:05, Israeli forces closed the steel gate entrance located along the main road near "Bet El" settlement which leads to Al-Jalazoun camp and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces closed the main road near Atara town bridge {located at the North entrance of Bir Ziet town} and Ein Sinya village junction and impeded the free flow of traffic.

House Occupation

On January 7th 2019, Israeli forces occupied an apartment building in Satah Marhaba neighborhood in Al-Bireh city and converted its rooftop into a military post.

TUBAS

Assaults on Property

At 13:00, Israeli forces stormed Kabish area located in south Khirbiet Atouf village and served a military order to halt construction in the area claiming its an archaeological site.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city.
2. At dawn on January 9th 2019, Israeli forces raided Nur Al-Shams camp in Tulkarem city then stormed and searched a home.
3. At dawn on January 9th 2019, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Ghosoun town then stormed and searched several home.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablat Tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 20:20, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mahmoud Awinat {A resident of Qalqiliya city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Attack

At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate located in west Qalqiliya city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 11:10,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic and also installed mobile rooms and placed cement blocks near the checkpoint.

Raid

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces raided Burqa village and assaulted Anas Hani Samara then withdrew at 15:40.
2. At 11:10, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village until 12:00.

Physical Assault

At 10:10, Israeli forces assaulted Anas Hani Lafi Samara during their raid into Burqa village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles until 09:00.

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Bruqin town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:55.

JERICHO

Raid

At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Jericho city until 03:45.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 09:20.
2. At 09:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:15.
3. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

Raid

1. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 5 residents {including 4 children} then withdrew at 04:30.
2. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained 5 residents {including a child} then withdrew at 04:30.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Mamoun Suleiman Al-Amour {15 years old}, Suhaib Mohammed Suleiman Al-Amour {16 years old}, Ahmed Fathi Al-Amour {16 years old}, Nour Mohammed Al-Amour{15 years old} and Musa Mahmoud Al-Amour in Teqou' town.
2. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Amir Murad Tqaqqa {17 years old}, Ali Abman Tqaqqa {15 years old}, Mahmoud Nabil Hamdan Thawabta {14 years old}, Isma'il Ra'ed Tatarqqa, and Omar Dhiab Tatarqa in Beit Fajjar town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Huriya area located in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on January 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Surif town then stormed and searched several homes.
3. At dawn on January 9th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a merchant shop.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint in Beit Einoun village detained Tarik Al-Nawaj'at {A resident of Al-Fuwar camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained Yassin Adel Al-Za'qib {15 years old} in Beit Ummar town.

Settlers Attacks

On January 8th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Migon" and "Givat Migon" settlement which are located in east Yatta town stormed agricultural land located in Al-Hamra area located near Al-Tuwani village and chopped off the limbs of approximately 30 Olive trees owned by Al-Raba'i family and spray painted Anti arab and racist slogans on the concrete walls surrounding the land.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 09:00 on January 8th 2019, Israeli forces escorting military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of North West Beit Lahiya town and leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:00.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Detention

At 17:00 on January 8th 2019, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents attempting to climb the border fence from east Al-Buriej camp into Israel.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 07:40 on January 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land located in east Al-Qarara town located east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects
