DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the road to Hizma town, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At 05:00 on 06/30/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-Bareed suburb in the town of Al-Ram, and raided and searched a house.

Detention

On the evening of 06/30/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Bab al-Rahma (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Nizam Abu Ramoz - a resident of the city of Jerusalem.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of 06/28/ 2022, The Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained two citizens, Anas Afana and his wife, from their vehicle in the village of Sur Baher and interrogated them at a Israeli police station under the guise that the wife does not have a permit allowing her to enter the city of Jerusalem, and they kept their two infants, who were screaming and crying loudly inside the vehicle, until they were later released.

Deportation

On 06/30/2022, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Essam Najib (one of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque), for a week, from Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevented him from approaching the roads leading to it, as a condition for his release after they arrested him the morning of the same day.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Nidham and conducted a patrol.

Detention

At dawn on 06/30/ 2022), the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Moaz Muhammad Hussein Amira during their raid into the town of Ni'lin (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report.

Closure of main Roads

On the morning of 06/30/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance to Al-Jalazun camp, in front of the traffic of citizens’ vehicles, forcing the citizens to take long and bumpy alternative roads to reach their places of work.

JENIN

Raid

1. At dawn on 07/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Yamoun, and detained a citizen.
2. At dawn on 07/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Silah Al-Harithiya and the villages of Ta'anak and Rumana, and carried out the patrol.

Detention

The detainee in the town of Al-Yamoun is: Azmi Salah Abu Hassan.

NABLUS

Raid

At dawn today 07/01/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Askar camp in Nablus, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the Askar camp in Nablus is: Jihad Al-Aqra'.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 12:55, a special force of the Israeli occupation army raided Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem, and detained a citizen.
2. At dawn on 07/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Beit Jala, and handed the citizen: Ramzi Riad Al-Ahmar, a notice to review the Israeli intelligence.

Detention

1. At 02:20 on 06/30/2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Saher Nasser Khalif, during thjeir raid into the city of Bethlehem (as mentioned in the previous report).
2. At 14:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at (Al-Container) military checkpoint detained the citizen: Muhammad Atta Turkman - residents of Jenin camp.
3. Israeli Special Forces detained Alaa Issa Maali.in the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:10, a group of Israeli settlers set fire to large areas of agricultural lands in the Qadis area of Husan village, located near the Beitar Illit settlement, destroying hundreds of olive and grape trees.

HEBRON

Destruction of Property

At 10:15, the Israeli occupation forces demolished two agricultural rooms owned by citizens: Azzam Ahmed Abu Rajab and Ayed Ali Jabour, in the Al Buwaib area, northeast of Yatta, and a sheep shed owned by: Azzam Ahmed Abu Rajab.

Settlers Attacks

On 06/30/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the agricultural lands of the citizens of the town of Halhul, located near the settlement of “Carmi Tzur”, and uprooted about 200 arborvitae seedlings in the fruiting phase, planted on an area of 1.5 acres, owned by the citizen: Abdullah Muhammad Noah Aqel.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 06/30/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 06/30/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 06/30/ 2022 is closed.
