DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the Wadi al-Rababa area in the Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

1. On the morning of 07/10/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hizma, and detained 2 civilians.
2. At 12:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Zaeem, stormed a number of shops, and examined their surveillance camera recordings.

Detention

1. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Ahmad Al-Awar in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem.
2. The two detainees in the town of Hizma are: Rushdi Yasser Kanaan, and Wissam Kanaan Al-Khatib.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Aboud, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 17:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the villages of Ras Karkar and Al-Janiya, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

1. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ras Karkar and conducted a patrol.
2. At 05:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Silwad, and detained 2 citizens (brothers).

Detention

The two detainees in Silwad are: Salem Muhammad Ajarma, and his brother Sameh.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Shufa checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 01:00.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by: Ahmed Muhammad Saeed Al-Hajj, while he was working to reclaim a plot of land in the village of Nazlat Issa near the racist separation wall near the village.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun, and stormed a house (under construction).

Attack

At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guarding the racist separation wall near the town of Jayyous fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the Masoudia area near Burqa village, temporarily detained 2 citizens, and released them at 13:50.

Raid

1. At 18:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hawara and forced the owners of a number of shops to close their shops, under the pretext of throwing stones at settlers' vehicles passing on the main street in the town.
2. At 19:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Yatma, accompanied by indiscriminate shooting, while they were on patrol, on the pretext that settlers' vehicles had been thrown with stones.

Detention

At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at one of the military checkpoints detained the citizen: Ahmed Hani Howeti - a resident of Balata refugee camp in Nablus.

Temporary Detention

At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens :Ahmed Sadiq Abu Bakr and Shalan Abu Bakr - both residents of Ya'bad town in Jenin governorate at a flying checkpoint near the entrance to the Masoudiya area near the village of Burqa , and released them at 13:50.

Attack

At 19:15, the Israeli occupation forces, while storming the village of Yatma, fired indiscriminately towards the citizens, while they were on patrol, under the pretext that settlers' vehicles had been thrown with stones.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20and again at 00:50 , the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kifl Haris to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 03:00.
2. At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 21:55.

JERICHO

Settlers Attacks

At 16:00, a group of Israeli settlers in the Arab al-Malehat area, west of Jericho governorate, attacked the citizen: Salman al-Kaabneh, who has lived in the area for more than 20 years during which the Israeli occupation forces also intervened, and handed him a notification to vacate the area on the same day.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 15:00.

Detention

At 00:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Container checkpoint detained 4 citizens: Nasser Al-Tarwa, Muhammad Shalaldeh, Islam Shalalda, and Zaid Shalalda - all residents of Sa`ir town, Hebron governorate.

Attack

At 22:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the town of Tekoua, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Military Checkpoints

At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces closed the military checkpoint at the entrance to the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron, to traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 02:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Halhoul, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Detention

At 10:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the apartheid wall near Nuba town, detained the child: Qusai Muhammad Imad Sharouf, 17 years old - resident of Nuba town.

Attack

At 18:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in charge of guarding the racist separation wall near the town of Beit Awa, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens.

Closure of main Roads

At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces closed the junction of Beit Ainun village (the entrance to the town of Sa'ir), in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 07/10/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 10:15 on 07/10/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired and fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a sewage vehicle east of Khuza'a town, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 07/10/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 07/10/ 2022 is closed.
