JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town until 06:00.
2. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Qutna village until 06:00.

Detention

On July 17th 2017, Israeli forces detained 7 residents: Musa Na'im Fatatfa, Mohammad Nawaf Al-Awar, Ahmad Mohammad Al-Awar, Tayssir Mahmoud Al-Abbassi, Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Abbassi, Mahmoud Khalid Al-Abbassi and Ayman Khaldi in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Deportation

1. On July 16th 2017, Israeli authorities deported Jawad Al-Ghoul {A firefighter for Al-Aqsa mosque compound} from Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for a period of 4 months.
2. On July 16th 2017, Israeli Authorities served notices barring 8 residents {who work as security guards at Al-Aqsa mosque compound}: Samer Al-Qabani, Khalil Al-Tarhuni, Hamza Al-Nabali, , Fadi Aliyan, Ammar Al-Salfiti, Imad Abadin, Majd Abadin and Abdel-Azziz Al-Halisi. from entering the mosque

Physical Assault

At 10:30, Israeli forces assaulted 4 residents: Jaber Al-Abbassi, Mohammad Jaber Al-Abbassi, Hatem Jaber Al-Abbassi and Riyad Abu Tayah in Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city.

Attack

At 22:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning near Al-Ram town junction.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On July 16th 2017, Israeli Authorities continued its closure of all gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and prevented residents from conducting prayers in the Mosque for the 3rd consecutive day then reopened it after Installing Surveillance camera on the Mosque gates and installed Metal Detectors to search worshipers who enter the mosque.Israeli Authorities also refused to return the keys for Bab al-Asbatt {Lions' Gate}, Bab al-Majlis‎‎ {The Council Gate} and Bab Al-Malik Faysal {Gate of Darkness} in an attempt to change the old cities muslim quarter status quo established in 1967 and during which the Muslim Awqaf council {The council overseeing religious affairs for Al-Aqsa mosque compound} refused to accept the new restrictions imposed on Muslim worshipers entering the mosque and demonstrated their dissatisfaction to the new restrictions by conducting prayers near the gates leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Dibwan village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:10.

At 00:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qabatiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 14:05, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 14:00.

Raid

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Nour Al-Shams camp, Bal'a , Attil and Deir Al-Ghusoun towns and Al-Jaroushiya village until 12:45.
2. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Anita town, stormed and searched several homes, detained 3 residents and summoned Khayri Nasser Hanoun to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 06:45.

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ali Safi Jaber, Mohammad Mustafa Najjar and Ahmad Mohammad Shihab in Anabta town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jinsafut village {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 10:40 and again at 02:45, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, detained a child then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Alaa Nihad Abu Assab {17 years old} in Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.
2. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'a area located at the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:45.

At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Furiq village , detained a resident after storming and searching his home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mu'tasim Muslih Ahmad Al-Boum in Qaryout village.

SALFIT

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafil Harris town and Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 17:35 and again at 00:30, Israeli forces forces raided Al-Khader town, stormed Taha Hamad Salah's home, inspected surveillance camera footage in the home, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 00:45
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubeidiya town until 06:25.

1. At 17:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Khader town.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

On July 16th 2017, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Wadi Al-Ghayout area located in Ein Al-Qassis area of Al-Khader town and installed 5 Mobile homes on land owned by Subieh family.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town , clashed with several residents, detained a resident then withdrew at 22:35.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Ithna and Al-Samou' towns, detained 2 residents in Al-Samou' town, confiscated cash from Ziyad Hassan Awad in Ithna town then withdrew at 04:50.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Hamdi Ismail Al-Faroukh in Sa'ir town.
2. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Bashir Al-Hamoudeh and Arafat Sabah Salamin in Al-Samou' town.

Attack

At 21:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Sa'ir town.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:20, Israeli forces confiscated cash from Ziyad Hassan Awad's home during their raid into Ithna town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Khan Yunis Districts which resulted in the injury of 2 fishermen.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

On the morning of July 16th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

On July 12th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Hamad Mohammad Tamraz { the assistant regional director for UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS)} as he was travelling through the crossing to attend a meeting in Jerusalem city.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

On the evening of July 16th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city and as a result injured 2 fishermen.

Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats and injured 2 fishermen: Ibrahim Al-Jahujo and Khader Abu Shamla off the shores of Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
