WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 07:00 on July 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Qutnah village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces detained the child Mahdi Qara'ani {15 years old} in Silwan neighbourhood for allegedly stoning a Israeli settler guard.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces detained Khalid Al-Bassati near Bab al-Asbatt gate in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces detained Jihad Nassar Qawas and Abdallah Da'na in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. At 23:00, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Rana Mohammad Fifil, Ahmad Abu Ghusha and Manar Mohammad Filfil {All are residents of Al-Bireh city} near Al-Eizariya town.
5. Israeli forces detained Jamil Musa Al-Fuqiya in Qutna village.

Attack

1. At 20:20, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Asbatt in the old city of Jerusalem fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents and as a result injured 16 residents.
2. At 22:20, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces positioned at Ein Al-Louz area in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas grenades for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
4. At 23:10, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
5. At 23:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Eizariya town n fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 16 residents {of those identified are}: Nidal Abu Gharbiya {fractured foot} and Abdallah Abd-Rabbo {bullet wound to the hip} near Bab al-Asbatt gate in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in Ein Al-Louz area in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in Abu Dis town.

House Demolition

On July 17th 2017, Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Al-Daya family for allegedly being built without a licence in Al-Za'im village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. On July 17th 2017, Israeli Authorities continued its closure of all gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and prevented residents from conducting prayers in the Mosque for the 3rd consecutive day then reopened it after Installing Surveillance camera on the Mosque gates and installed Metal Detectors to search worshipers who enter the mosque.Israeli Authorities also refused to return the keys for Bab al-Asbatt {Lions' Gate}, Bab al-Majlis‎‎ {The Council Gate} and Bab Al-Malik Faysal {Gate of Darkness} in an attempt to change the old cities muslim quarter status quo established in 1967 and during which the Muslim Awqaf council {The council overseeing religious affairs for Al-Aqsa mosque compound} refused to accept the new restrictions imposed on Muslim worshipers entering the mosque and demonstrated their dissatisfaction to the new restrictions by conducting prayers near the gates leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
2. At 08:30,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.

Raid

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Ijreir village.
2. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ali Salim Dabour {17 years old} in Al-Jalazoun camp.

Attack

At 10:15, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Mughier village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Dan village then searched residents and vehicles until 01:45.
2. At dawn on July 18th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Yamoun town and detained 2 residents.

Raid

1. At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Einin village until 04:10.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Arqa village until 04:10.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Yamoun town detained Abdallah Al-Hajiyah and Abdallah Al-Ja'bari {Both are residents of Al-Yamoun town}.

TUBAS

Raid

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Bayda village.
2. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Tamoun town, stormed and searched a home , detained a resident then withdrew at 01:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Imad Khalid Hassan Bani Odeh in Tamoun town.

TULKAREM

Raid

At dawn on July 18th 2017, Israeli forces raided Nur Al-Shams camp in Tulkarem city and detained a University student.

Detention

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned at "Enav" Military checkpoint detained Nael Abdel-Kareem Mahmoud Haykal {A resident of Nur Al-Shams camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mohammad Shihab {A University student} in Nur Al-Shams camp.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Kafr Laqif village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:50, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:30.

Detention

1. At 02:45 on July 17th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hassan Marjan and Awies Marjan during their raid into Qalqilya city.
2. At 10:50, Israeli forces detained Shaker Wajih Jayyis {A resident of Qalqilya city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Issam Nimer Nazal in Qalqilya city.

Attack

1. At 19:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Azzun town.
2. At 19:50, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Jayyous town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction {along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya} then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Askar camp then detained 2 residents including a Journalist.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Bahjat Tawfiq Al-Khalili {A resident of Nablus city} and Radwan Abdel-Qadder Al-Qattani {A resident of Askar camp}{A journalist}.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 09:30.

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Harris village , stormed a home , detained a resident then withdrew at 02:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ashraf Jamal Ali Abdel-Jabber.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

On July 16th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Ahmad Omar Mahmoud Assaydeh {A resident of Tel village in Nablus district} as he was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:30 and again at 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
2. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Aqbat Hasnah area near Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:40.

Attack

At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned near Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Land Confiscation

On July 17th 2017, Israeli forces served a military order for the confiscation of 70 dunums of land located in Wadi Al-Ghoul area located in Al-Ju'ba village for alleged military purposes.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:30 on July 18th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:20 and again at 00:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 04:40.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa and Yatta towns until 04:40.
3. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Ulla town until 04:45.
4. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar and Sa'ir towns until 04:45.

Attack

At 21:10, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Zahad area located in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards a residential vehicle for allegedly attempting to run over a Israeli Soldier.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

*Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:00 on July 17th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
