WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on July 20th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 6 residents.

Detention

1. At dawn on July 10th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Loai Wissam Al-Rajabi and Mohammad Abu Subieh {both are residents of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Absat gate {A Main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound} in the detained Tarik Al-Hashlamoun and Amjad Al-Samari.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat Military checkpoint detained Mahmoud Hussien Abu Samrah.
4. Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Ahamd Kayed Mahmoud, Ashraf Jamal Aliyan, Nidal Al-Faroukh, Mohammad Ismat Obied, Nadeem Al-Sadafi and Qusay Al-Dari in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Ram town junction fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Abssat gate {A Main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured several residents.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat Military checkpoint in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 18:10, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they where demonstrating the Israeli Government's decision to install Metal Detectors at all the gate entrances leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and as result injured 3 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
5. At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
6. At 20:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jabal area junction located in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents {those identified are}: Bashar Ishab Nassar and Mo'ayad Amjad Assaf during confrontations near Qalandiya Military checkpoint.

Assault on medical sector

On July 19th 2017,Israeli forces disrupted the work of the medical staff at Al-Makkassid Islamic Charitable Hospital located in Bab Al-Ghawanmah area located in Jerusalem city since closing down and placing metal detectors around the main gate leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound and also blocked the enter of medical staff by pacing checkpoints in the area around the hospital.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. Since July 18th 2017, Israeli Authorities continued its closure of all gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and prevented residents from conducting prayers in the Mosque for the 3rd consecutive day then reopened it after Installing Surveillance camera on the Mosque gates and installed Metal Detectors to search worshipers who enter the mosque.Israeli Authorities also refused to return the keys for Bab al-Asbatt {Lions' Gate}, Bab al-Majlis‎‎ {The Council Gate} and Bab Al-Malik Faysal {Gate of Darkness} in an attempt to change the old cities Muslim quarter status quo established in 1967 and during which the Muslim Awqaf council {The council overseeing religious affairs for Al-Aqsa mosque compound} refused to accept the new restrictions imposed on Muslim worshipers entering the mosque and demonstrated their dissatisfaction to the new restrictions by conducting prayers near the gates leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
2. At 07:00 on July 19th 2017 , a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

Settlement Activities

On July 18th 2017, Israeli authorities approved the construction of 941 new settlement units { 355 units in "Gilo" settlement, 250 settlement units in "Ramot" settlement, 220 settlement units in "Neve Ya'akov " settlement, 116 units in "Pisgat Ze'ev" settlement} on land occupied in 1967 in east Jerusalem city.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:10.

Detention

At 09:15, Israeli forces detained Salim Idris Hamdan {A resident of Dura Al-Qari' village}.

Attack

At 11:55, Israeli forces positioned near Atarah town bridge fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations protesting against the new Military restriction placed in Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:55 on July 19th 2017, Israelis forces set up a checkpoint near the industrial zone near Al-Jalmah village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Hamam Adnan Kamil in Qabatiya town.

TUBAS

Raid

At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Aqaba town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Othman Khalid Mohammad Ghannam in Aqaba town.

Confiscation of Property

1. On the morning of July 19th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated several electronic equipment, a water pump, a water meter and electrical line as they stormed Khirbet Hima area in the North Jordan valley.
2. On July 19th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated 2 agricultural tractors owned by Muwafaq Fakhri Daraghma and Ahmad Daraghma in Ras Al-Hamra area in the North Jordan Valley.

Destruction of Property

On July 19th 2017, Israeli forces destroyed a water pipe network in Khirbet Um Al-Jamal area in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:40.

Raid

At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Sayda village, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:35.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ma'moun Nawaf Affif Radad in Sayda village.

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Nabi Eliyas village and detained a resident.

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint along the main road of Al-Nabi Eliyas village detained Ma'moun Hisham Odwan {A resident of Azzun town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ahmad Obied in Immatin village.

Temporary Detention

At 21:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained Bassam Eid Hassan Abu Khalid {A Preventive Security Force Officer} near the entrance of Kafr Qaddum village then released them at a 00:10.

NABLUS

Raid

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Sharaf village.

Detention

At 19:25, Israeli forces detained Abd Rabbo Khalid Al-Hashash {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Settlement Activities

On July 19th 2017, Israeli forces levelled 20 dunums of agricultural land owned by the estate of Ahmad Abdel-Haj Mohammad which is near "Suvut Arahil" settlement located in Jallud village in an attempt to expand the settlement.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 23:50.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 07:30 on July 19th 2017 and again at 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located on the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30
2. At 07:35 on July 19th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.
3. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasnah area located at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:35.
4. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Al-Khader town bridge {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:45.
5. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:40.

Attack

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah Mosque located in North Bethlehem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents participating in demonstrations protesting the installation of Metal detectors on the entrances of Al-Aqsa mosque compound and as a result injured a resident and temporarily detained another protester.

2. At 21:15, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Bader Issa {16 years old}{A resident of Al-Khader town} near Aqbat Hasna area located at the entrance of Husan village.
3. Israeli forces detained Yusef Hussien Al-Sharqawi during confrontations near Billal Bin Rabah mosque.

1. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nabi Yunis area junction {located along the main road connect Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed and searched several homes and a steel mill then detained 2 residents.
3. At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Ithna town , stormed and searched 2 homes then detained a resident.
4.At dawn on July 20th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp, detained a resident and confiscated a computer and a cellular telephone from a home.
5. At dawn on July 20th 2017, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Khalil Mahmoud Amour {A resident of Yatta town}.
2. At 20:25, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yusef Jaber Mustafa Hajajrah {14 years old} and Hamza Ishaq Al-Ja'bari in the old city of Hebron.
3. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Kareem Nayef Zien and Saddam Majed Zien in Yatta town.
4. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Abdel Rasoul Bashir Islamiya in Ithna town.
5. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Al-Husseini in Al-Fuwar camp.
6. Israeli forces detained Jihad Abd Daman Zidat in Bani Na'im town.

Attack

At 15:55, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on July 20th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a computer and a Telephone from the home of Ibrahim Al-Husseini after detaining him.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:40, a Israeli settler driving his vehicle along the main road in Wadi Al-Hassin area located near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city ran over the child Wajdan Firas Al-Ja'bari {10 years old} and as a result left her hospitalised.

Injuries

The child Wajdan Firas Al-Ja'bari {10 years old} was hospitalized after a Israeli settler driving his vehicle along the main road in Wadi Al-Hassin area located near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city ran her over.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
•Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

*Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:00 on August 18th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town.
2. At 10:15 on July 18th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town.
3. At 21:00 on July 18th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.
