WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on July 22nd 2019 and at 21:30 on July 22nd 2019 , Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, detained 6 residents, clashed with several residents and temporarily detained a child then released him at a later time.

Detention

1. At 00:15, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Nassar Sa'diyat and Abdel-Nasser Odat in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Mamoun Mustafa Dari, Hudhayfah Shreitah, Yousef Abu Al-Homs, Darwish Yahya Darwish, Amjad Ali Obaid, and Mohammed Obaid during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

House Demolition

At 02:00 on July 22nd 2019, the Israeli occupation forces demolished 11 residential buildings (including dozens of apartments) in the Wadi al-Homs area in the village of Sur Baher, pursuant to the Israeli court's decision to demolish 16 residential buildings on the pretext of proximity to the separation wall. Most of the buildings that were demolished within Area A are under complete Palestinian sovereignty according to the Oslo Agreement, and are licensed by the Ministry of Local Government. The demolished buildings are owned by: Ghaleb Abu Hadwan - a two-story building, 2 apartments and 3 Shops and parking spaces ", Ismail Obaidiya - a two-story building, Ali Khalil Hamada,3-storey building, Na'im Muslim - two-story building, Alaa 'Amira - house, Akram Zawahra - 3-story building and roof, Bilal al-Kiswani - house, Ra'fat' Ubaydat A 9-story building (5 floors of which were destroyed by explosives). The clashes took place with the citizens. Ten Palestinians were injured and bruised. They were taken to the hospital and a citizen was temporarily detained then released him at a later time.

Attack

1.On the morning of July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents as they demolished several buildings and merchant shops in Wadi al-Homs area in the village of Sur Baher the n assaulted several residents as they attempted to prevent Israeli forces from demolishing the building and as a result injured 10 residents leaving them hospitalized with contusions.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 10 unidentified residents who attempted to prevent Israeli forces from demolishing several buildings during clashes in Al-Eisawiya village.

Temporary Detention

1. At 02:00 on July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained Mohammad Idris Abu Teir as they demolished several buildings and merchant shops in Wadi al-Homs area in the village of Sur Baher then released him at a later time under the condition that he not return to the area for a period of 3 days.
2. At 21:30 on July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child : Ameer Obied {11 years old} then released him at a later time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 12:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On July 22nd 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:35.
2. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halamish" settlement junction and detained a resident.
3. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement junction detained Adli Farah Ismail Taha {a resident of Beit Rima town}.

JENIN

Raid

At 09:50, Israeli forces raided Masaliyat village , detained 3 residents then withdrew at 14:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Abdul Adnan Awwad, Farhat Ali Helmy Najm, and Wazen Misara Mansour Samara during their raid into Masaliyat village.

TULKAREM

Raid

At dawn on July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Bal'a town then stormed and searched a home.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jayyous town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Nabi Eliyas and Izbit Al-Tabib villages then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jayyous town and detained 4 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Jayyous town detained 4 residents:
Sabri Mohammed Al-Qatawi, Mohammed Jawad Ahmed Hamed, Mohammed Mansour Adini, and Mahmoud Mohammed Shana'a.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus city and Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.
2. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Zuwata village hen searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.

Raid

1. On the morning of July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who were visiting archaeological sites in the village.
2. At dawn on July 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Duma village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mustafa Dawabhsa in Duma village.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

On the evening of July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Container military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.
2. At 13:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.
3. At 18:05,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the villages in west Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 18:40.
4. At 19:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles. until 22:00.

Raid

1. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:45.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town , detained 3 residents then withdrew at 03:45.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Naseem Ali Naseem Subieh in Al-Khader town.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Muhannad Nimr Khalil Al-Amour, Ahmed Jamal Al-Amour, and Mohammed Deeb Mahmoud Al-Amour in Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 07:35 on July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained a Presidential Security Force Officer.
2. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwwar camp and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hammam Ismail Abdullah Abu Dhari, and Musa Mohammed Ismail Swaiti. during their raid into Beit Awwa town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Mohammad Al-Adrabat {a Presidential Security Force Officer} in Al-Arrub camp.
3. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Kamal Abu Ta'miyat in Al-Fuwar camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza district and as a result injured 6 residents.

At 21:00 on July 22nd 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on July 22nd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 6 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 16:15 on July 22nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents located near the border fence in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

At 15:30 on July 22nd 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.
