WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Annan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 05:20 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Anata town.
3. At dawn on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a woman.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Abu Hammad in Al-Eizariya town.
2. Israeli forces detained Ibtisam Obied in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Ein Yabrud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.
2. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya and confiscated a solid waste truck owned by the local village council and also temporarily detained its driver then released him at a later time and withdrew at 12:05.
3. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 18:50, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village, clashed with several residents, temporarily detained 2 residents {including a child} then released them at 21:30.
2. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city , clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 3 residents and confiscated a vehicle and surveillance camera footage from a shop then withdrew at 04:45.
3. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and a University student Dormitory.
4. At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Qobar village, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:30.

Detention

1. At 02:00 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces detained Hani Sa'id Assi during their raid into Beit Liqya town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ibrahim Abu Sharifa, Salah Mahmoud Abu Sharifa and Imad Akram Al-Sous in Al-Bireh city.
3. Israeli forces detained Yusef Ahmad Mash'al Al-Barghouthi in Kobar village.

Temporary Detention

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town temporarily detained Waseem Al-Dudat {A Solid waste truck driver for the local village council} then released him at a later time after confiscating the truck.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents {including a child}: Mohammad Salah Thiyab Al-Tamimi {13 years old} and Rami Nimr Thiyab Al-Tamimi then released them at 21:30.

Attack

1. At 18:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Intham village.
2. At 02:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Bireh city.
3. At 02:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and a University student Dormitory during their raid into Bir Ziet town.

Confiscation of Property

1. At 02:00 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces confiscated 18000 NIS from the home of Muntasir Mohammad Badr during their raid into Beit Liqya town.
2. At 11:50, Israeli forces positioned a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya and confiscated a solid waste truck owned by the local village council.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of T'inik village then searched residents and vehicles.

TUBAS

Temporary Detention

At 10:55, Israeli forces positioned in Ein Al-Sakout area located in the North Jordan valley temporarily detained 2 residents: Ahmad Hussien Zuhdi Abu Muhisien and Wafiq Mustafa Yusef Daraghma {2 Sheppards} as they were herding their livestock then released them at 21:30.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 15:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Shwakiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city and detained a resident.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Nur Al-Shams camp, stormed and searched several homes then detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Jamal Abu Laymoun in Shwakiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Omar Khalid Saleh Al-Fadawi in Tulkarem city.

Confiscation of Property

At 00:50 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces confiscated documents and files from "Al-Makdis Currency Exchange" during their raid into Tulkarem city {as mentioned in the previous report}.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:55.
2. At 14:15 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Tulkarem districts}, detained 2 residents {including a National Security Force Officer} after chasing a vehicle which allegedly attempted to pass the checkpoint with out stopping then confiscated the vehicle after it flipped over.

Raid

At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 03:25.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Tulkarem districts}, detained 2 residents {including a National Security Force Officer}: Rashed Nizar Shabtiya {a National Security Force Officer} and Nasser Mohammad Ahmad Dahbour after chasing a vehicle which allegedly attempted to pass the checkpoint with out stopping.

Confiscation of Property

At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Tulkarem districts} confiscated a vehicle after detaining its occupants.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.
2. At 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bazariya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Temporary Detention

At 07:40, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara military checkpoint detained Samer Rawhi Kalbuna {A resident of Nablus city} then released him at a later time.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Ballout town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Raid

At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Jericho city, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 04:10.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Raid

1. At 05:25, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and detained 4 residents {including a National Security Force officer}
2. At dawn on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mahmoud Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Jawarish {a National Security Force officer}, Mohammad Nasser Musa Awwad, Majd bAwad and Muhanad Al-Harimi in Bethlehem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Tarik Al-Jahalin in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Raid

At 06:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 2 residents {including a woman}.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Lama Yasser Khater and Nizzar Nitham Al-Din Shihada in Hebron city.

Temporary Detention

At 15:40, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained the Palestinian Minister of Al-Awqaf {religious affairs} and prevented him from entering the mosque.

Assaults on Property

At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned near "Bani Havir" settlement located in South Beini na'im town temporarily seized a vehicle owned by the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture then released them at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Central Gaza districts.
• Israeli Military aircraft's broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 15:15 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian Gunmen sites located in east Beit Hanun town.

Air Strike

At 15:00 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli Military Drones launched missiles towards a group of residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 08:00 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 15:25 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian Gunmen sites located in east Al-Maghazi camp.
2. At 15:30 on July 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian Gunmen sites located in east Deir Al-Balah city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
