WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Mutala' hospital located in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 06:00 on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, stormed a Dairy products factory and detained a resident.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Waleed Sharaf in Abu Dis town.

Temporary Detention

At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned near the gates of Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city temporarily seized Identification cards of women who were exiting Al-Aqsa mosque and informed them to pick up their seized ID's at the Local Police center located at Bab Al-Khalil area in the old city of Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
2. At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15.
3. At 00:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Yabroud village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 17:35.
2. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town, stormed and searched several Bedouin communities located in the area between Bir Ziet town and Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbita village, detained a University student, confiscated a computer then withdrew at 04:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Issa Eyad Mohammad Shaladat {A University student} in Bir Ziet town.

Attack

At 15:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

Confiscation of Property

At 03:30, Israeli forces confiscated a computer owned by Issa Eyad Shaladat after detaining him during their raid into Bir Ziet town.

Closure of main Roads

At 00:45, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Beitin village located near "Al-Mahkama" checkpoint near Bet El settlement in North Al-Bireh city {after individuals allegedly hurled Molotov cocktail fire bombs and stoned settler vehicles in the area} then reopened it at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

At 07:05, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ali Tayseer Zakarna in Qabatiya town.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:55, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed the area of "Sanour" settlement {which was previously abandoned} and performed Talmudic rituals and chanted anti Arab slogans then withdrew at a later time.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:30, the Israeli military intensified their restrictions at Tayasir checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces raided Bardala village as they escorted several workers from the Israeli company "Makrot" then withdrew after sealing several openings used to extract water then withdrew at 14:25.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Khirbeit Atouf village until 00:30

Destruction of Property

On the evening of July 24th 2018, Israeli forces stormed Khirbeit Ras Al-Ahmar area in the North Jordan valley area and leveled and destroyed several water pipe lines approximately 1500 m long and 6 inches wide.

Settlement Activities

On the evening of July 24th 2018, Israeli forces stormed Ras Al-Ahm,ar area in the North Jordan valley and paved a road {2.5 km long on Palestinian owned land} which connects the main road with Al-Khirat area and Mashbeek area which was declared by the Israeli military as a closed military zone and a firing range.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00 and again at 17:30, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.
3. At 22:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Kafr Thulth towns then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.

Raid

At 18:40, Israeli forces raided Hajja village until 20:00.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15.

Raid

1. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Hatab village.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Rujieb village until 02:00.
3. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Dajjan village until 03:00.
4. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Balata camp, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:35.
5. At dawn on July 25th 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Moath Ghassan Thuqan {A resident of Nablus city} and Hassan Na'im Bakhit {A resident of Balata camp} during their raid into Balata camp and Nablus city.
2. Israeli forces detained Sameh Hamad Mansour in Kafr Qalil village.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 10:15, the Israeli military liaison informed the Palestinian military liaison that it will be suspending coordination with the Palestinian Police Force in Nablus district until further notice.

Settlers Attacks

On the morning of July 24th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed the public parks and water springs in Al-Bithan village located in east Nablus city.

JERICHO

Raid

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces raided Jericho city until 09:50.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village, stormed and searched 4 homes then withdrew at 01:50.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hana area {located along the main road which leads to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

At dawn on July 25th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces detained Hytham Omar Atta Awad {A resident of Bethlehem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container Military checkpoint detained Mohammad Taher Al-Sharif {A resident of Hebron city}.
3. Israeli forced detained Farouq Khalil Abu Akr in Al-Doha town.

Settlement Activities

On July 24th 2018, the Israeli government approved plans for the construction of 270 settlement settlement units {170 units in "Danail" settlement located on land in Al-Khadr town and 100 units in "Kafr Eldad" settlement outpost located near Jib Al-Thib village located in south east Bethlehem city} on land occupied in 1967.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 05:20, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on July 25th 2018, Israeli forces raided Surif town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. On July 24th 2018, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Atef Swelim {A resident of Al-Arrub camp} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. At 03:40, Israeli forces detained Ziyad Sa'ed Mohammad Bannat in the old city of Hebron.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ziyad Aqab Al-Nawaj'at and Mustafa Yunis Al-Najjar in Yatta town.
4. Israeli forces detained Omar Mohammad Al-Heih in Surif town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Central Gaza districts and as a result injured 2 residents.
The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.
• Israeli Military aircraft's broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 3 missiles towards North Gaza and Gaza districts and as a result injured 4 residents.
• A resident died of injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya city on May 14th 2018.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 12:00 on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in east Jabaliya town and injured a resident.
2. At 19:20 on July 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores Al-Sudaniya area in west Beit Lahiya town.

Air Strike

1. At 09:40 on July 24th 2018, Israeli Military Drones launched missiles towards a group of residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 14:00 on July 24th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched missiles towards a group of residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces opened fire towards and injured a unidentified resident near the border fence in east Jabaliya town.

2. Israeli airstrikes injured a unidentified resident near the border fence in east Jabaliya town.

Killings

At 12:00 on July 24th 2018, Majd Suhiel Mohammad Aqil {26 years old}{A resident of Jabaliya camp} died of injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city on May 14th 2018.

Detention

At 08:00 on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Sabri Abdel-Qadder Qandil {56 years old}{A merchant}{A resident of Gaza city}.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 09:30 on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several resident attempting to climb the border fence from east Gaza city to Israeli during which they were able to flee back into the Gaza strip.
2. At 20:30 on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards a group of residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in east Gaza city.

Air Strike

At 18:40 on July 24th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched missiles towards a group of residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in east Gaza city and as a result injured 3 residents.

Injuries

Israeli airstrikes towards east Gaza city injured 3 unidentified residents.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 12:00 on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Al-Maghazi camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces opened fire towards and injured a unidentified resident in east Al-Maghazi camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 14:30 on July 24th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Khuza'a town and leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:30.

Attack

At 18:00 on July 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
