WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 21:45, Israeli forces closed Jaba' Military checkpoint {which is located along the main road connecting Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho} and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Detention

On July 26th 2018, Israeli forces detained Izzat Jamjoum after storming and searching his home in Beit Hanina town.

Killings

At 21:45, the child Mohammad Tarik Dar Yusef {A resident of Kobar village located in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district} was killed after Israeli forces opened fire towards him near "Adam" settlement located in Jaba' town for allegedly stabbing 3 Israeli settlers {which killed 1 Israeli settler and injured 2 others}.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Tayba town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah & Al-Bireh and Jericho district} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 05:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ammar village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Kobar village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched the family home of Mohammad Tarik Dar Yusef {A resident of Kobar village located in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district}{ who was killed after Israeli forces opened fire towards him near "Adam" settlement located in Jaba' town for allegedly stabbing 3 Israeli settlers} and served the family a military order for the Demolition of their home and detained 3 residents {including a child} after they closed the entrance of the village with cement blocks and leveled the roads leading to the village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Nasrallah Yusef Mash'al {17 years old}, Mohammad Yusef Mash'al and Khaldoun Al-Barghouthi in Kobar village.

Attack

1. At 04:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched the family home of Mohammad Tarik Dar Yusef {A resident of Kobar village located in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district}{ who was killed after Israeli forces opened fire towards him near "Adam" settlement located in Jaba' town for allegedly stabbing 3 Israeli settlers} .
2. At 07:15, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Bir Ziet town as they were withdrawing from Kobar town after raiding it.

Closure of main Roads

At 04:20, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Kobar village with dirt mounds.

JENIN

Raid

At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Zabadat, Qabatiya, Ya'bad towns and Bir Al-Basha and Masaliya villages.

TUBAS

At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Attouf village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 12:10, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Baqa Al-Sharqiya town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Nazlat Abu Al-Nar and Nazlat Issa villages.
2. At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Kafr Sur village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15 and again at 03:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
2. At 12:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city until 14:40.

Confiscation of Property

At 02:15 on July 26th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated 1100 NIS and 450 JD's from the home of Ameer Mohammad Dahbour during their raid into Azzin town {as mentioned in the previous report}.

NABLUS

Raid

At 08:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Wazzan and Qussin villages.

SALFIT

Detention

At 17:05, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction Military checkpoint detained Abdel-Azziz Saed Thiyab {A resident of Kafr Qalil village}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:35, Israeli forces positioned near Dar Salah village {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

Raid

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Al Maniya village located in south Teqou' town and served military orders for the demolition of 2 homes owned by Nimr Mohammad Abdel-Hameed Al-Kawazbat and Sa'id Shareef Mahmoud Al-Faroukh.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Khadr town until 19:05.

Detention

At dawn on July 26th 2018, Israeli forces detained Khadr Musa Ahmad Hadaya during their raid into Al-Doha town {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fuwar camp junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on July 26th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on July 26th 2018, Israeli forces detained Musa Qassim Ahmad Abu Diya during their raid into Beit Ummar town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained Sharhabeel Masalmah in Beit Awwa town.

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near Abu Halawa junction in the old city of Hebron fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Central Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 18:30 on July 26th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.
2. At 00:25 on July 27th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Nassirat camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
