WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 01:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beir Nabala town tunnel, opened fire towards a vehicles and as a result injured then detained the driver {unidentified} then fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts near the checkpoint then withdrew at 02:05.

Attack

1. On the evening of July 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Absat area located in the old city of Jerusalem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 10 residents {including 1 critically injured} and also left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Bir Banalah town tunnel opened fire towards a vehicle and then detained the Unidentified driver after wounding him during which they fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents near the flying checkpoint.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 10 unidentified residents {including 1 critically injured in the eye} during confrontations as they participated in the funeral of a unidentified residents killed by Israeli forces at Bab Al-Absat area located in the old city of Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:30.

Attack

At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Mughier village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents {including a child}.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents {of those identified are}: Mohammad Attallah Mohammad Abu Aliya {16 years old}.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arabah town junction, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 17:00.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ya'bad town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.
3. At 22:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near The Arab American University roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 00:40.

Raid

1. At dawn on July 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Beir Al-Basha village then stormed and searched Billal Bin Rabah Mosque.
2. At dawn on July 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located Arraba town junction detained 2 residents: Qayes Kamal Zaki Araydeh and Foad Rashaydeh Ali Aqhash { Both are residents of Arrabah town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Omar Abdallah Masaud Qubha in Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At dawn on July 3rd 2017, Israeli forces stormed and searched Billal Bin Rabah mosque during their raid into Bir Al-Basha village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 23:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 00:50.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints near Jit village junction and "Qaddumim" settlement junction {located along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Nablus} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 00:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Halbah town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Ras Attiya village , stormed and searched 3 homes and detained a resident.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 04:40.
3. At 05:20, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village , stormed and searched several residents, detained 5 residents then withdrew at 05:30.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Muawiya Tusef Fayez Mara'ba in Ras Atiyah village.
2. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Omar Mohammad Taha {16 years old}, Saleh Mansour Obied {15 years old}, Subhi Mansour Obied {16 years old}, Aweis Abdel-Raziq and Araf Marwan Ali in Kafr Qaddum village.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 12:55, Israeli forces raided Beit Ibba town and Deir Sharaf village until 16:30.
2. At 15:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Bithan village.
3. At dawn on July 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Qusra village and clashed with several residents.
4. At dawn on July 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and detained a resident from his workplace.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Assaydeh {A resident of tel village} in Nablus city.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 22:15, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city until 05:50.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, stormed a merchant shop owned by Rafaat Abu Al-Nur, inspected surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 00:50.
3. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village, stormed Ibrahim Samih Thawabteh's home and inspected surveillance camera footage.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 12:05.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town.
3. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, Beit Awa town and Beit Einun village until 05:50.
4. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya town until 05:50.
5. At dawn on July 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

On July 1st 2017, Israeli forces detained Abbass Al-Natsheh in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 12:30 on July 1st 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area in West Beit Lahiya town..
2. At 17:00 on July 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the green line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town.

Detention

On July 1st 2017, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident in east Beit Hanoun town as he attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 17:30 on July 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators located in the vicinity of Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes in the vicinity of Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 17:30 on July 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 17:40 on July 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
