WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Deportation

On July 29th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued court orders preventing Nafisa Khawayis and Aydah Al-Sadiqi from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 2 weeks as condition for their release from Israeli Police custody after they were detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city until 10:50.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin town and detained a resident.
3. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Um Safa village.
4. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and Beituniya town, detained 4 journalists {including the bureau chief of Al-Quds Satellite channel} after storming their homes, confiscated a vehicle and several recording equipment then withdrew at 06:15.
5. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Kobar village.
6. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Bani Harith village.

Detention

1. At 01:15, Israeli forces detained Nimr Mohammad Dar Satouf {A resident of Beit Rima town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained Mu'taz Mohammad Abu Rahma in Ni'lin town.
3. Israeli forces detained 4 journalists: Mohammad Sami Olwan , Ala Al-Rimawi, Husni Abdel-Jalil Injas and Qutayba Mohammad Omar Hamdan during their raid into Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and Beituniya town.

Confiscation of Property

At 02:15, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle and several recording equipment after storming the homes of 4 Journalists as they detained them during their raid into Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and Beituniya town.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Yamoun town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town and Ti'inik village.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Nazlat Zied, Al-Tarm and Al-Arqa villages.
3. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Arraba town until 00:45.

TUBAS

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Tubas city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Nasrallah Daraghma and Khalid Sudqi Sa'id Foqaha in Tubas city.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 11:50, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Shwakiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city and Baqa Al-Sharqiya town.
2. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Deir Al-Ghosoun, Bal'a and Anabta towns and Al-Jaroushiya village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajja village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, clashed with several residents, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident and detained 8 others.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 8 residents: Muhisn Hardan Sharim, Billal Nafa' Miskawi, Nidal Ibrahim Nofal, Fadi Bilal Hurani, Nour Al-Din Ahmad Qassim Daud, Husam Hatem Abu Libdeh, Khalid Wajeeh Sabri and Mohammad Wajeeh Sabri during their raid into Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 02:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Qalqiliya city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Oday Saleh Aqubi during clashes in Qalqiliya city.

Confiscation of Property

At 00:55 on July 29th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage owned by Ibrahim Abdallah Tawfiq Abdel-Haftith and Ahmad Mazouz Wasfi Nazal during their raid into Qalqiliya city {as mentioned in the previous report}.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:25 and again at 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint between Nablus city and Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:20

Raid

At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Yatma village until 03:10.

Settlers Attacks

At 22:35, a group of Israeli settlers set fire to a plot of land in Qaryout village during which local residents were able to extinguish the fire at 23:00.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yasuf village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:10.

Raid

At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and Al-Doha town, stormed and searched several homes and detained 3 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Atta Taya Al-Harimi {A resident of Bethlehem city}, Mohammad Ali Al-Mu'tti {A resident of Bethlehem city} and Fahed Muneer Assad Abu Sawi {A resident of Al-Doha town} during their raid into Bethlehem city and Al-Doha town.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 21:55, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and Deir Sammit village and detained 2 residents.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and Bani Na'im town, stormed and searched several homes and summoned 2 residents: Bilal Al-Natsha and Mohammad Al-Qawasmi to report to Israeli intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 resident: Thaer Ziyad Hamamadat {A resident of Yatta town} and Shadi Mahmoud Safi Al-Haroub {A resident off Deir Sammit village} during their raid into Yatta town and Deir Sammit village.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Israeli forces positioned behind the border fence in east Jabaliya town in North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Palestinian Attacks

At 23:55 on July 29th 2018, Palestinian gunmen opened fire towards Israeli forces positioned behind the border fence in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 18:45 on July 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land near Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing located in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 19:30 on July 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 19:30 on July 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
