WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town until 05:00.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Biddu town, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes until 02:20.
3. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town, clashed with several residents as they stormed a merchant shop then withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

On the evening of July 5th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Rawedi and Mohammad Imad Taha in Ein Al-louz area located in Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Biddu town.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ein Al-louz area located in Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city.
3. At 01:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Ram town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

Settlement Activities

On July 5th 2017, Israeli Planning and Construction Authorities of the city Municipality in occupied Jerusalem City approved the construction of 196 new settlement units {98 settlement units in "Ramat Shlomo" settlement, 18 settlement units in Beit Hanina town and 80 settlement units in "Ramout" settlement} which are all on land occupied since 1967.

Settlers Attacks

At 22:30, a group of Israeli settlers and a settler guard located in Batn Al-Hawa area in Silwan neighborhood assaulted several children and as a result injured 2 children: Yazan Al-Rajabi and Mahdi Qar'a'in and stormed a merchant shop owned by Maher Abdel Wahad and sprayed pepper spray onto the face of his wife and infant child and as a result left them hospitalized.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:25.

Raid

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces raided Bir Zeit town until 14:40.
2. At 20:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Dibwan town, confiscated construction equipment from 2 buildings {under construction} which are owned by Abdel-Hafith Al-Abed Darwish and Ibrahim Al-Rifati then withdrew at 00:10.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Dibwan village and served a military order for the demolition of a home owned by Adel Anqoush then withdrew at 04:10.
4. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city until 04:50.
5. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Abwien and Arrura towns until 05:00.

Confiscation of Property

At 20:40, Israeli forces confiscated construction equipment from 2 buildings {under construction} which are owned by Abdel-Hafith Al-Abed Darwish and Ibrahim Al-Rifati during their raid into Deir Dibwan town.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier, Waraba, Al-Ijdadiya, Al-Jarbah and Al-Zawiya villages.
2. At 07:45,Israeli forces raided Deir Dibwan and Beit Qad villages.

TUBAS

Raid

At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Aqaba town.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:00.

Raid

1. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Shewikiya neighborhood in the city, stormed and searched a home and several steel mills, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 06:00.
2. At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Nazlah Al-Sharqiya and Izbit Abu Al-Nar villages until 06:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Nasri Wasfi Mahmoud Abu Ayisheh, Amjad Bassam Bahati and Khader Adnan Obied during their raid into Tulkarem city and Shewikiya neighborhood in the city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 06:30.

Attack

At 02:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya} then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Marab'a area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.

Raid

At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city,Ein Beit Al-Ma' camp and Madma village, detained 2 residents in the camp and village then withdrew at 04:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Salim Al-Ashqar {A resident of Ein Beit Al-Ma' camp} and Ali Issam {A resident of Madma village} during their raid into Nablus city,Ein Beit Al-Ma' camp and Madma village.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 06:00.

JERICHO

At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasnah area located near Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:15.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Betar village then searched residents and vehicles until 23:05.
3. At 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

Raid

1. At dawn on July 5th 2017, Israeli forces raided Um Salmuna village and detained a resident.
2. Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, Al-Doha town and Ayda camp in Bethlehem, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and a steel mill owned by Abu Tarboush family in Al-Doha town and closed it down after confiscating its equipment then withdrew at 04:55.

Detention

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Khamour {A resident of Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. On July 5th 2017, Israeli forces detained Abdallah Jihad Suliman {A resident of Al-Doha town}.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Imad Ibrahim Taqatqa in Um Salmuna village.

Attack

HEBRON

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoint at the entrances of Bani Na'im town and Abu Al-Asja village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Tafuh town , stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:10.

Detention

At dawn on July 5th 2017, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Hussien Ahmad Sabarnah during their raid into Beit Ummar town in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.

Closure of main Roads

At 21:45, Israeli forces closed the south entrance of Hebron city with dirt mounds.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Central Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

On July 5th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed North Beit Lahiya town and levelled a plot of land.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 10:30 on July 5th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Deir Al-Balah city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
