WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

On July 6th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Assad Obiyat and Mohammad Khalid Rabi' {Both are residents of Abu Dis town}.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 16:25.
2. At 18:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:20.

Raid

At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home and as a result injured Ahmad Yusef Mohammad Sharif Zamarah then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

At 10;40, Israeli forces positioned near "Bet El" settlement located in North Al-Bireh city detained 2 residents {including a child}: Abdel-Azziz Muhyi Al-Din Al-Khatib {16 years old} and Qassim Eyad Attiyeh Dwiek.

Attack

At 04:00, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Al-Jalazun camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ahmad Yusef Mohammad Sharif during clashes in Al-Jalazun camp.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

On the evening of July 6th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Bir Al-Basha village {located along the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

On the evening of July 6th 2017, Israeli forces raided Bir Al-Basha village then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

At 19:00, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Raheem Assad Al-Abed Daoud {A resident of Qalqilya city} as he was attending his son Adam's court hearing in Salem Military base.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints near the entrance of Aqaba town and Al-Aqaba village then searched residents and vehicles.

Temporary Detention

At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Buqi'a area located in the North Jordan valley detained Suheayed Shadad Bani Odeh {A resident of Tamoun town} then released him at 20:30.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 12:20 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:50.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Shufa village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:15.
2. At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Lid town then searched residents and vehicles until 18:50.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00 and again at 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city, inspected residents Identification cards, detained a resident and temporarily detained 2 others {including a Palestinian Intelligence force officer} then released him at a later time.
2. At 11:50 and again at 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town , detained a Palestinian Intelligence force officer then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint in the east entrance of Qalqilya city detained Musa Mahmoud Al-La'u {A resident of Qalqilya city}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town detained Ashraf Ahmad Mahmoud Sake

Temporary Detention

At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the east entrance of Qalqilya city temporarily detained 2 residents {including a Palestinian Intelligence force officer}: Mohammad Islam Yahya Hilal {intelligence officer} and Falah Abu Salma.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:05 and again at 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.
2. At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.
3. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:25
4. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus city and Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.

Raid

At dawn on July 6th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beita town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Rani Hashim Ali Dweikat in Beita town.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 24:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 01:15 on July 6th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Harb Ma'rouf Rayan during their raid into Qarwat Bani Hassan town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:35.
2. At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the Dead Sea junction then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area near the entrance Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:45.
2. At 23:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 00:25.

Settlers Attacks

At 03:45, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Nashash area junction stoned several vehicles and residents and as a result damaged a vehicle owned by Ziyad Jawad Shaloud {A resident of Hebron city}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Shiyoukh village and detained a resident.
4. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road near Wadi Sa'ir town, temporarily detained Ala Kafafi {A Palestinian Intelligence force officer} then released him at a later time.

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Al-Shiyoukh town detained Tamer Halayqa {A resident of Al-Shiyoukh town}.

Temporary Detention

At 21:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near Wadi Al-Sharq road located near Sa'ir town temporarily detained Alaa Kafafi {A Palestinian Intelligence force officer} then released him at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza and Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 09:00 on July 6th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 70m into the vicinity of east Jabaliya town and opened fire as they levelled a plot of land then withdrew at 18:00.

Attack

At 09:00 on July 6th 2017, Israeli forces opened fire as they levelled a plot of agricultural land in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 09:00 on July 6th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and opened fire as they levelled a plot of land then withdrew at 18:00.

Attack

At 09:00 on July 6th 2017, Israeli forces opened fire as they levelled a plot of agricultural land in east Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
