WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

At 11:00, Israeli forces detained 6 residents {including 5 children}: Mahdi Jaber, Ahmad Abu Sineneh {16 years old}, Adnan Eyad Al-Rajabi {16 years old}, Ahmad Nidal Al-Rajabi {13 years old}, Ahmad Jamal Al-Silwadi {15 years old} and Ahmad Eyad Al-Rajabi {13 years old} in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers, the Israeli Minister of Agriculture Uri Yehuda Ariel and Israeli Parliament member Sharren Haskel under the protection of Israeli Police and Military forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ni'lin town then searched residents and vehicles until 01:00.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Bir Ziet town then searched residents and vehicles until 06:20.

Raid

1. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village and detained a resident.
2. At 04:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ali Tariq Al-Hajj Mohammad in Al-Mughier village.
2. Israeli forces detained Talhat Mustafa Nakhlah in Al-Jalazoun camp.

Raid

1. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:40.
2. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:50.
3. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:00.
4. At dawn on July 9th 2018,Israeli forces raided Al-Arqa village and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ghanam Bassam Mahmoud Abahra in Al-Yamoun town.
2. Israeli forces detained Yusef Ahmad Ali Shawahna in Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town.
3. Israeli forces detained Ali Abdel-Rahman Ba'jawi in Ya'bad town.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Iz-Al-Din Jameel Salah and Mohammad Rashid Salah in Al-Arqa village.

Military Checkpoints

1. At 16:50, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 17:00,the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Shufa village Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Lid town then searched residents and vehicles.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 04:40.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus then blocked the road to impede the free flow of traffic and stoned several residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 16:45, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Huwara Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.
2. At 15:00 and again at 23:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarm} then searched residents and vehicles, detained 2 residents for allegedly carrying explosive material in their vehicle then proceeded to blow up the vehicle.
3. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:50.
2. At dawn on July 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beita town and detained 3 residents.
3. At dawn on July 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Orif village then stormed and searched 2 homes.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarm} detained 2 residents: Khalid Yusef Balidi and Yazzid Hussien Al-Sarouji {Both are residents of Tulkarm camp in Tulkarm city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Jabr Al-Ji'an Dwikat in Nablus city.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Nihad Mamdouh Bani Shamsa, Layth Bassam Daud and Ibrahim Mahmoud Daoud in Beita town.

Destruction of Property

At 23:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarm} blew up a vehicle owned by Haytham Nour Balidi {A resident of Nur Al-Shams camp in Tulkarm city} after they detained 2 residents from inside the vehicle for allegedly carrying explosive material.

SALFIT

Raid

At dawn on July 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Rafat village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Billal Awadallah Abu Assba in Rafat village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:20.

Detention

At 18:15, Israeli forces detained Hussien Ali Abu Aker {A resident of Ayda camp in Bethlehem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up 5 checkpoints at the south entrance of Hebron city, thye entrances of Halhul and Bani Na'im towns, the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and the west entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on July 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ulla town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on July 8th 2018, Israeli forces raided Halhul town and detained 3 residents.
3. At dawn on July 8th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.
4. At dawn on July 8th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces positioned at a Military checkpoint located near the entrance of Al-Shuhada road located in the old city of Hebron detained Abdel-Azziz Waleed Abdel-Azziz Al-Sawity.
2. Israeli forces detained Maher Salem Hussien Abu Hussien in Beit Ulla town.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Abdel-Kareem Ali Awad, Yahya Issa Ayash and Qayis Nu'man in Halhul town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:00 on July 8th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 17:30 on July 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators during right of return protests in east Kuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
