DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 16th June 2021 -08:00, 17th June 2021
1. At dawn on 06/17/2021,the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Omar Muhaisen, in the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem.
2. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Hatta area (one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem 2 citizens Asaad Al-Basti and Faisal Shabana.
3. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Qalandia checkpoint detained the citizen: Mahmoud Jaber - residents of Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
4. At 00:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Bab al-Zahra area (one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem 2 citizens: Rawhi Kalghasi and Alaa Jamjoom.
5. At dawn on 06/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens (one of whom is a child) Muhammad Ali al-Ghoul, 17, and Ibrahim Ismail al-Ghoul in Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Jerusalem.
1. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Hizma opened fire towards a female citizen while she was driving her vehicle, after she had mistakenly drove on a military road and as a result killed her {She is married and the mother of an 8-year-old girl}.
2. On the evening of 06/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Abu Dis fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting the death of the citizen: Mai Afana - a resident of the town, while she was driving her vehicle near the entrance to the town of Hizma.
3. On the evening of 06/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
May Khaled Youssef Afana, 29 years old, a resident of Abu Dis town was killed after Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards her vehicle after she had mistakenly drove on a military road near the entrance to the town of Hizma.
At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At noon on 06/17/2021, a settler in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem assaulted the citizen: Mona Nabil Al-Kurd, by spraying paint on her face. The Israeli occupation forces also intervened and detained her, and later released her after they took her to investigate the Israeli police station.
1. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the town of Al-Taybeh (on the Al-Maar’at road connecting Ramallah and Jericho governorates), to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 17:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Ni'lin town, to search cars and check citizens' identities.
3. At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Ras Karkar village, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 03:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Jalazun refugee camp, where confrontations took place with the citizens during a raid and search of a number of houses, and detained 3 civilians (including 2 children).
2. At dawn on 06/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Abu Mishaal, where confrontations took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
The three detainees in Al-Jalazun camp are: Mustafa Mahmoud Gwanama, 17 years old, Alaa Nidal Zaid, 17 years old, and Salam Shehadeh Al-Tirawi.
1. At 03:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun , and tear gas canisters towards citizens while stormed and searched a number of homes during their raid into Al-Jalazun camp.
2. At dawn today 06.17. 2021, during the storming of Deir Abu Mishaal village, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens while they were on patrol.
At 03:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jenin, its camp, and the village of Kafr Dan, clashes took place with the citizens in the city, resulting in the injury of 4 civilians, and they detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 05:05.
The two detainees in the city of Jenin and its camp and the village of Kafr Dan are: Iyad Kamal Husam Al-Tobasi - residents of Jenin camp, and Maher Tahsin Abed - residents of Kafr Dan village.
At 03:15, during their raid of Jenin city and its refugee camp, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 civilians.
The 4 unidentified citizens were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Jenin.
At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the "Eyal" crossing, north of Qalqilya, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
On 06/16/ 2021,the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Sebastia, to accompany a group of settlers during their visit to the archaeological area in the village.
1. At 10:00, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of citizens in the Bab Al-Ghoul area, south of Burin village, and cut down the branches of about 50 olive trees owned by: Sabri Qassem Mahmoud Zabin.
2. At 21:55, a group of settlers from the “Esh Kodash” outpost entered the southern outskirts of the town of Qusra, and threw stones at a number of houses owned by citizens: Jamal Issa Nuri, Jabali Issa Abu Rida, and Ali Farid Hassan Awad, and caused material damage to one during which Israeli occupation forces also intervened and fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets and stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens as they tried to confront the settlers.
1. At 17:45, the Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, which led to the death of a child by being hit in the head.
2. At 21:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the southern outskirts of the town of Qusra fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets and stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens while they were trying to confront a group of settlers from the outpost "Esh Kodesh" after they threw stones at a number of citizens' homes and damaged a civilian's vehicle.
Ahmed Zahi Ibrahim Issa Daoud Bani Shamsa, 16 years old - a resident of Beita town was killed after he shot in the head by Israeli forces during confrontations in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita.
1. At 11:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 13:00.
2. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Deir Istiya town, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 20:45.
3. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kifl Haris, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 21:35.
4. At 21:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafr ad-Dik, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 22:15.
At 18:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 20:00.
1. At 10:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 11:10.
2. At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 15:50.
1. At 12:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Arouj and detained a citizen.
2. At 16:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tekoua and detained a child.
1. The detainee in the village of Al-Arouj is: Muhammad Mustafa Issa Al-Arouj.
2. The detainee in the town of Tekoa is: Waseem Kamal Khalil Al-Shaer, 15 years old.
1. At 09:10 and again at dawn 06/16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Yatta, and detained a citizen , and detained another a citizen (thereby bringing the number of detainees in the town to 2 citizens).
2. At 01:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tarqumiya, and detained a citizen.
1. At 18:00,the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the old city of Hebron,detained the citizen: Ayam Nimer Subhi Al-Rajbi - a resident of the city of Hebron, on the pretext that she had a knife in her possession.
2. The two detainees in Yatta are: Khaled Mohammed Rashid Al-Jundi and Badr Al-Amour.
3. The detainee in the town of Tarqumia is: Tariq Abdel Aziz Aghrib.
At 22:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned located in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens at the entrance to the camp for alleged stoning.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• On 10/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces closed the sea of the Gaza Strip, in front of fishermen until further notice.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement, by storming areas in Rafah governorate.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez": on 06/16/ 2021, partially open (for the entry of employees of international organizations, foreign journalists, and critical medical cases).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision
At 12:30 on 06/16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained a unidentified citizen east of the town of Juhr Ad-Dik, southeast of Gaza City, while he was trying to infiltrate through the border fence into Israel.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: on 06/16/ 2021 is partially open (for the entry of food and fodder, and limited quantities of fuel).
*Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 06/16/ 2021 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
At 13:30 on 06/16/ 2021, several vehicles and bulldozers of the occupation army, covered by reconnaissance planes, stormed our areas, about 70 meters deep east of Rafah, and carried out excavation and bulldozing, and withdrew at 17:00.
