WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Biddu tunnel, and detained a citizen.

Raid

At dawn on 06/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Qatana, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. On 06/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the town of Hizma detained the citizen: Ibrahim Abu Gharbia, and his wife.
2. On the evening of06/17/2021 , the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem detained3 citizens: Asaad Dari - residents of Al-Isawiya village, Muhammad Al-Sabah, and Hamza Al-Sabah - residents of Shuafat camp in Jerusalem.
3. On 06/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained the citizen: Malik Zayed Abu Romi - a resident of the city of Jericho.
4. On 06/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Bab al-Silsila (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Abdel Karim Qaoud.
5. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Tariq Masouda - a resident of the city of Jerusalem.
6. The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the Biddu tunnel is: Youssef Muhammad Issa Al-Faqih - residents of the village of Qatana.
7. The detainee in the village of Qatana is: Sufian Abdel Rahman Al-Faqih.

Attack

On the evening of 06/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Abu Dis fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens against the killing : May Afana - a residents of the town, while she was driving her vehicle near the entrance to the town of Hizma, and as a result injured 4 citizens.

Injuries

The 4 unidentified citizens were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Abu Dis.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint under the bridge of Yabroud village, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 00:30.

Raid

At 01:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Sinjel, and they patrolled until 01:30.

TUBAS

Raid

At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tubas, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the city of Tubas is: Hazem Mustafa Maslamani.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 01:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarm, stormed and searched a house, and withdrew at 04:05.

Detention

At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the gate of the racist separation wall near the town of Deir al-Ghusun, detained 3 citizens (including a child) - residents of Deir al-Ghusun town: Hamza Firas Subhi Ghanem, 15, Eyas Subhi Asaad Ghanem, and Firas Subhi Asaad Ghanem.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:30 and again at 19:50 , the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet al-Tabib to search cars and check citizens' identities.
2. At 19:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Azzun town, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:35, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hawara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Murabba area, near the entrance to Tal village, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 11:10.

Raid

1. At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the eastern neighborhoods of Nablus until 05:40.
2. At 03:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided Salem village, and detained 6 civilians.

Detention

The 6 detainees in Salem village are: Osama Awadallah Shtayyeh, Amjad Jamal Shtayyeh, Saed Abdul Jalil Shtayyeh, Bakr Jamal Shtayyeh, Khamis Hilmi Qarqari, and Hilmi Naseem Qarqari.

Attack

At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, as a result of which a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

SALFIT

1. At 09:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 13:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr ad-Dik, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.

JERICHO

At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hamra checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 21:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 15:30.
2. At 15:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the town of Nahalin and the village of Al Jabaa, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 16:00.
3. At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Nahalin town, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 22:00.

Raid

At 08:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Husan, and detained 3 civilians.

Detention

The 3 detainees in the village of Husan are: Majd Ibrahim Sabateen, Muhammad Ibrahim Sabateen, and Jihad Alyan.

HEBRON

Raid

At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Khirbet Fqiqis, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the village of Fqiqis is: Muhammad Salama Awawda.

House Demolition

On 06/17/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 170-square-meter house in Wadi Muhaisen, located between the towns of Beit Ummar and Halhul, owned by: Basem Al-Ajlouni.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. • On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• On 10/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces closed the sea of ​​the Gaza Strip, in front of fishermen until further notice.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement, by launching 14 missiles from warplanes (in 5 consecutive raids)towards the governorates of North Gaza, Gaza, and Khan Younis.

NORTHERN GAZA

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 06/17/2021, it is partially open (for the entry of employees of international organizations, foreign journalists, and critical medical cases).

Air Strike

1. At 22:30 on 06/17/2021, Israeli warplanes launched 6 missiles, targeting a site belonging to one of the armed Palestinian groups north of Beit Lahia town.
2. At 23:10 on 06/17/2021, the Israeli warplanes launched two missiles, targeting a site belonging to a Palestinian armed group east of Jabalia town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

Air Strike

1. At 22:50 on 06/17/2021, Israeli warplanes launched a missile, targeting agricultural land northwest of Gaza City.
2. At 23:35 on 06/17/2021, Israeli warplanes launched 3 missiles, targeting agricultural land northwest of Gaza City.

KHAN YUNIS

At 23:00 on 06/17/2021, Israeli warplanes launched two missiles, targeting a site belonging to one of the Palestinian armed groups east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: on 06/17/ 2021 is partially open (for the entry of food and fodder, and limited quantities of fuel).
