WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jaba' village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town until 17:50.

Detention

At 01:20, Israeli forces detained Obada Mohammad Abdel-Majeed {A National Security Force Officer} in Jerusalem city for allegedly not carrying a valid permit.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.
2. At 20:30, 7 Israeli settlers {Disguised in Islamic prayer clothes} attempted to enter inside Al-Aqsa mosque through Al-Qatani gate during which Mosque guards were able to prevent them from entering.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on June 9th 2017, Israeli settlers slashed the tires of several vehicles in Beit Safafa town and spray painted racist slogans on the vehicles.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Jericho} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Hadad Al-Siyahiya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Silat Al-Thaher town and Al-Fanduqumiya village until 16:10.

Detention

On June 6th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint detained Ahmad Omar Mustafa Hassis {A resident of Jenin city} as he was travelling to Ramallah & Al-Bireh district.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem and Ramin village until 13:05.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Attil town until 17:20.
3. At 13:25, Israeli forces raided Zieta town until 17:20.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the bypass road near "Yitshar" settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

Raid

At 13:10 and again at 14:00, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and served military orders to demolish 2 restaurants owned by Fakher Mukhimeir and Nael Aqel for allegedly being built without a license because of its location in Area C which is under Israeli Military and administrative control.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces raided Bidya town until 13:45.
2. At 03:25, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town until 03:45.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marah Rabah village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:35.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:25.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city}, temporarily detained 4 residents then withdrew at 18:25.
4. At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Betar village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:35.

Detention

At dawn on June 9th 2017, Israeli forces detained Ashraf Hussien Dar Issa after storming his home during their raid into Al-Khader town {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

Temporary Detention

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem} temporarily detained 4 residents: Mufti Ma'rouf Al-Masri, Yusef Eliyas Al-Sarahna, Mohammad Mash'al and Nisreen Mash'al then released them at a later time.

HEBRON

Raid

At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, detained 3 residents after storming and searching their homes and confiscated 2 vehicles then withdrew at 04:15.

Settlers Attacks

At 21:35, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near a checkpoint along Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron, assaulted several residents during which Israeli forces opened fire towards residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack and detained 2 resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Thaer Abu Ramoz, Abdel-Khaliq Al-Natsheh and Darar Abu Munshar in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nader Al-Ja'bari and Haron Al-Ja'bari after Israeli forces opened fire towards residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack near a checkpoint along Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron.

Attack

At 21:35, Israeli forces positioned near a checkpoint along Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack.

Confiscation of Property

At 02:55, Israeli forces confiscated 2 vehicles owned by Abdel-Khaliq Al-Natsheh and Darar Al-Munshar during their raid into Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Khan Yunis Districts. and as a result injured a resident.
•Israeli Naval Forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shore Gaza district .

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

*Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 17:00 on June 8th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1.At 17:20 on June 8th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the green line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 19:00 on June 8th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 17:00 on June 8th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the green line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
