WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on February 27th 2018,The Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip on the occasion of the Jewish "Purim" holiday, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for diplomatic and international missions, Humanitarian Affairs and emergency medical cases after prior coordination until 24:00 on March 3rd 2018 .

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At dawn on February 28th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, demolished a plant shop, a gas station and their surrounding concrete fence for allegedly being built with out a licence and then detained 2 resident.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces detained the child Ali Mahmoud Abu Ghayth {15 years old}{A resident of Al-Eizariya town} near Kabsa area junction in Abu Dis town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohamed Mahmoud Mousa Sabeeh and Mohamed Fadl Hussain Sbeih in Hizma town.
3. Israeli forces detained Hamza Darbas in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Hizma village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

3. At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Shiekh Anbar road located in Al-Tur Neighborhood on Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 18:40, Israeli forces positioned at the Military base located in North Al-Ram town opened fire towards a child who was near the military base and as a result left hospitalized with wounds.

Injuries

Israeli forces left Musa Al-Matur {10 years old}{A resident of Al-Ram town} hospitalized after they opened fire towards him near the Military base located in North Al-Ram town.

Destruction of Property

At dawn on February 28th 2018, Israeli forces demolished a plant shop, a gas station and their surrounding concrete fence for allegedly being built with out a licence during their raid into Hizma town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima and Deir Ghassana towns.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 05:00.
3. At dawn on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'meh village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ismat Fakhri Khalifa in Kafr Ni'ma village.

Attack

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 14:50, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate located in south Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canister towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes near Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:50.
2. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Yamoun town hen searched residents and vehicles until 14:55.
3. At 13:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Masilat village junction hen searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.

Raid

At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 2 homes , detained a resident then withdrew at 14:55.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Anid Adel Hamid in Al-Yamoun town.

Attack

At 14:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canister towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 2 homes during their raid into Al-Yamoun town .

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:10, the Israeli military intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Sayda village, stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:45.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Samih Billal Nimr Ajaj in Sayda village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Laqif village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Tulkarem}then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:50, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
2. At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Far'ata village.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:00, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near the by pass road located by "Yitshar" settlement fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:15, Israeli settlers positioned at Deir Sharaf village junction stoned residents and vehicles passing near the area.

SALFIT

Raid

At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harriss town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed religious sites in the area then withdrew at 07:40.

JERICHO

Detention

At 16:05, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Ammar Hussien Mohammad Abu Bakr {The head of the Chamber of Commerce in Jenin district}{A resident of Jenin city} as he was travelling to Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

Raid

1. At 05:45, Israeli forces raided Husan village and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ra'ouf Abu Yabis in Husan village.
2. Israeli forces detained Omar Ali Al-Laham in Al-Duhisheh camp of Bethlehem city.

Attack

At 07:45 on February 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Halhul town and detained a residents {A special needs patient}.
2. At dawn on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Ithna town then stormed and searched a home.
3. At dawn on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Yatta town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At 18:55, Israeli forces detained Issa Omar in the old city of Hebron.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Qadder Akram Abu Assba {A special needs patient} in Halhul town.

Attack

1. On the morning of February 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Al-Nasari area located in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children in Jaber Secondary school located near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement for alleged stoning and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 14:25, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of Humanitarian and emergence medical cases} for Jewish Holidays.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of 26 residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed {for Jewish holidays}.
