WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned near Hizma town detained 2 residents: Muhanad Radwan Abu Riziq and Khalil Ibrahim Abdallah Al-Asmar {both are residents of Balata camp in Nablus city}.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of February 28th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city sentenced Anwar Sami Obied {a resident of Al-Eisawiya village} to 5 days home detention outside his place of residence and banned him from his home for a period of 32 days, fined him 1500 NIS and an additional 3000 as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Deportation

1. On the evening of 28 February 2019, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued an order banning Imad Abidin (employee of the Islamic Awqaf Department - Department of Firefighting) fropm area of ​​Bab al-Rahma within the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque for 7 days, as a condition for his release after He arrested him earlier while he was leaving al-Aqsa Mosque.
2. On the evening of 28 February 2019, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued an order banning Anwar Sami Obeid from Al-Issawiya village from his place of residence and village for 32 days in addition to the five-day house arrest outside his place of residence, 1500 shekels and the signing of a financial guarantee of 3,000 shekels, as a condition for his release after he arrested him earlier.

On February 28th 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Raid

1. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, stormed a building and a child nursery, detained a resident and temporarily detained another then released him at a later time.
2. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town.

Detention

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}: Ali Billal Ali Bader {14 years old} and Mahfouth Bahjat Bader {both are residents of Bitillo village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Majdi Abu Kweik {A resident of Ramallah city} in Al-Bireh city.

Temporary Detention

At 01:45, Israeli forces temporarily detained Hussien Al-Shawamra during their raid into Al-Bireh city then released him at a later time.

At 15:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayassir " Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 10:05, Israeli forces raided Irtah neighborhood in Tulkarem city until 12:15.

On the afternoon of February 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Azzun town then stormed a home.

At 13:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'at area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.

Raid

1. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Harris village.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 12:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 14:00.

Raid

At 07:30, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed the Church of Temptation then withdrew at a later time.

Detention

On February 27th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Ismail Abdel-Rahim Abu Daya {A resident of Sartat village in Salfit district} as he was returning from Jordan.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 13:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at Halhul town bridge and at Jurat Balhas junction {located at the North entrance of Hebron city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured a resident.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 12:45 on February 28th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.
2. At 18:00 on February 28th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

Temporary Detention

At 14:00 on February 28th 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 unidentified children in east Al-Buriej camp as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israeli then released them at 15:30.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

On the morning of February 28th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards 4 residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
