WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on 07.03.2010 and the occupation forces imposed a total closure on the governorates of the West Bank and Gaza Strip due to the "Purim Day - Purim" among the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for diplomatic and international missions Humanitarian and medical emergencies after their prior coordination, until 24:00 hours on 11 March 2020.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint between the villages of Jaba and Mukhamas, and arrested a citizen.
2. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock at the entrance of the Bidu tunnel, to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

Raid

1. At 06:00 on 09/03/2020, Israeli forces raided Kafr Aqab and Qalandia Camp, and arrested 3 citizens.
2. At 03:30 on 10. 03. 2020, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Ram, and arrested a citizen.
3. At dawn on 10.03.2020, the Israeli forces stormed the town of Bedou and conducted the patrol.

Detention

1. The detainee is at a sudden checkpoint between the villages of Jaba and Mukhamas: Ismail Muhammad Alqam, residents of Qalandiya camp.
2. The 3 detainees in Kafr Aqab town and Qalandiya camp are: Muhammad Yasser Hammad - residents of Kafr Aqab town, Ahmed Juma Sajdia - residents of Qalandiya camp, and Omar Eid - residents of Qalandiya camp.
3. Detained in the town of Al-Ram is: Hammouda Al-Jabarin.

Closure of main Roads

At 22:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance to the Tablas area in Hazma, in front of traffic.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:00, the occupation forces set up a roadblock at the entrance of Badras village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
2. At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces erected a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Awar Al-Tahta, to search vehicles and verify citizens ’identities.

Raid

1. At 02:55, an Israeli army force moved into Silwad town, and arrested a citizen.
2. At 21:00, an Israeli army force moved into Ramallah, to evacuate a group of settlers, stormed Al-Tira neighborhood in the city, detained a university student, and released him at 21:30.

Detention

Detained in the town of Silwad is: Hamdi Khair Allah Hamid.

Temporary Detention

At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained Muhammad Burhan Daraghmeh during the storming of Ramallah, and released him at 21:30.

Settlers Attacks

At 21:00, a group of settlers stormed , Al-Tirah neighborhood, in Ramallah, and opened fire indiscriminately at the place. As a result, the Israeli forces intervened and fired rubber-coated metal bullets and sound and tear gas canisters towards the citizens as they tried to confront the settlers.

At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces, while storming Al-Tira neighborhood, Ramallah, rubber-coated metal bullets and sound and tear gas canisters towards the citizens, while they were trying to confront a group of settlers that stormed the neighborhood and opened fire randomly at the place.

TUBAS

Raid

At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Tayasir village, stormed and searched a number of houses, and confiscated NIS 12,000 from a house.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:50, during the storming of Tayasir village, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated 12,000 shekels from the house of the citizen: Abdullah Nawwaf Abu Mohsen.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:15, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the “Ainaf” checkpoint, and impeded the movement of traffic until 19:40.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock at the entrance to Azzun to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

1. At 16:45, an Israeli army force stormed the city of Qalqilya, and patrolled.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Kafr Thulath, arrested a citizen, and withdrew at 03:05.
3. At dawn today 10. 03. 2020 A force of the occupation army stormed Asla village and conducted the patrol.

Detained in the town of Kafr Thulath is: Ali Rafeeq Muhammad Shawahaneh.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock near the "Yitzhar" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens ’identities until 14:00 hours.
2. At 20:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock near the "Shafi Shamron" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens ’identities until 21:30.

Raid

1. At 02:00, an Israeli army force moved into the town of Beita, arrested 8 citizens, and withdrew at 05:00.
2. At 02:00, an Israeli army force stormed the villages of Awarta and Osrin, and arrested 2 citizens.

Detention

1. The 8 detainees in the town of Beita are: Ra'id Hassan Abdel Rahim Dawood Bani Shamsa, Ibrahim Mahmoud Arsan Dawood, Hussein Issa Dawood, Jihad Fayez Hamayel, Hamdan Fayez Hamayel, Saif Dhaif Allah Hamayel, Hussein Mahmoud Dawood, Munawar Abdul Rahman Mustafa Bani Shamsa .
2. The two detainees in the villages of Awarta and Osrin are: Abd al-Salam Muhammad Yusef Awwad - residents of Awarta, and Samer Hamdi Nayef Muflih - residents of Osrin.

Attack

At 18:50, Israeli forces positioned close to Tal village, sound and tear gas canisters, at the citizens, on the pretext that they were throwing stones.

Destruction of Property

On 09/03/2020, Israeli forces demolished the area of Ain Al-Rashash and Khirbet Jbaite, near the village of Douma, 3 (baracks), owned by Fadel Abu Alia.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:30, the Israeli occupation forces established a roadblock between the town of Deir Ballut and the village of Rafat, to search cars and verify the identities of citizens.
2. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces erected a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock at the entrance to Al-Auja village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

BETHLEHEM

Destruction of Property

At 12:30, the occupation forces in Sha`b Bahour, west of Wadi Fukin village, uprooted some 400 olive seedlings owned by Mohammed Mahmoud al-Haroub.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock at the junction of the village of Zif, to search vehicles and verify citizens ’identities.

Raid

1. At 16:15, an Israeli army force stormed the city of Hebron, and arrested a citizen.
2. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, and stormed and searched 5 houses.

Detention

Detained in the city of Hebron is: Farid Ahmaidan Al-Owawi.

Attack

At 20:55, the occupation forces, in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired rubber-coated metal bullets and sound and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators at the entrance to the camp, on the pretext that they were throwing stones.

Closure of main Roads

At 13:35, the Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, before traffic, and reopened it later.

Settlers Attacks

At 19:15, a group of "Mitzpe Yair" settlers, residents of the villages of Bir al-Ad and Janba, southeast of Yatta, intercepted and impeded the citizens ’access to their homes.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on 26. 08. 2014 The permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings and introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, and to expand the area of fishing for 6 miles with an increase of up to 12 miles with At the end of this year, the area of the "buffer security" area will be reduced from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and the prevention of assassinations, and the remaining issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
•Since the Morning of 28th. 06. 2019 The occupying forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from the oasis area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza governorate and even to the port of Gaza by 6 nautical miles, and from the port of Gaza to the south of rafah beach to 15 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire, by storming our areas and by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the central governorate, and by gunboats firing towards fishermen boats at sea in North Gaza Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - “Erez”: 09. 03. 2020 is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, international humanitarian workers, merchants, businessmen, and travelers through the Karama crossing - previously coordinated).

Attack

At 08:45 on 09/03/2020, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen boats at sea, opposite the shore of Al-Sudaniya area, west of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar - Karni Crossing: closed since 02.03.2011, permanently, and by an Israeli unilateral decision.
* Al-Shojaeya Crossing - "Nahal Oz" for fuel: It has been closed since 01 01.2010 due to an Israeli unilateral decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 09:00 on 09/03/2020, several vehicles and bulldozers from the occupation army and a cover of reconnaissance planes stormed our areas 50 meters east of Al-Bureij refugee camp. They carried out digging and bulldozing work, and withdrew at 14:00.

Attack

At 14:00 on 09/03/2020, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Deir Al-Balah.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

*Yasser Arafat International Airport: Closed.
*Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - Kerem Shalom: 03/09/2020 is partially open (for the introduction of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel, building materials for the private sector and internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda port - Rafah: on 09. 03. 2020 is open in both directions (for the departure and entry of citizens).
