DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 12th March 2021 -08:00, 13th March 2021
1. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Abd al-Rahim al-Saidi and Ahmad Abu Asim {both are residents of Tulkarm} in Jerusalem.
2. At 06:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Bab Hatta (one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Ihab Abu Sneina, after he left the dawn prayer.
On 12/03/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued decisions to deport 2 citizens Omar Al-Zughayer and Khaled Riyadh Al-Issawi - Head of the Preaching Department And guidance in Al-Aqsa Mosque.- residents of Jerusalem, for a week from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for their release after they were detained earlier.
At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens near Al-Asbat Gate (one of the doors leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, after they left the Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At dawn on 13/03/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Malik, stormed and searched a number of homes.
1. At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards the citizens participating in a demonstration against the confiscation of lands for settlement projects and as a result left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canister towards the citizens for alleged stoning near the entrance to Kafr Malik.
On 12/03/2021, the Israeli occupation forces delivered a notice to stop work on maintenance of the road leading to Al-Butma neighborhood of Umm Al-Rihan Village Council in Umm Al-Rayhan village, located behind the separation wall.
At 14:55, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 10:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
1. At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the eastern (closed) entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas, towards the protesters in demonstrating against the closure of the village entrance for alleged stoning and as a result left several protesters suffocated from tear gas inhalation until 14:50.
2. At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the entrance to Azzun town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards several citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation force stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards several citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into the town of Azzun.
At 04:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Furik, and detained a citizen.
1. At 11:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Huwara checkpoint detained 3 citizens: Youssef Nazih Awad Amla, Ahmad Nazih Awad Amla, and Muhammad Husni Qasim - (all of them are residents of Nablus).
2. At 12:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Beit Furik checkpoint detained the citizen: Mutasim Saqf Al-Hitt - a resident of Nablus.
3. The detainee in the town of Beit Furik is: Ahmed Tawfiq Mustafa Hamad.
At 12:45, ,the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens participating in a demonstration against the confiscation of land for settlement projects in the village of Beit Dajan and as as result left several demonstrators suffocated from tear gas inhalation.(including a child) and assaulted 3 citizens (including the Minister of Labor - Nasser Abu Jaish).
The 5 injured citizens in the village of Beit Dajan (of those identified): Bassam Mufleh Hamed, Hamza Musa Abu Thabit, Ahmed Faik Hanaysheh, 17 years old, Khair El Din Khulousi Haj Muhammad.
At 12:45, the Israeli occupation forces in Beit Dajan village, beat 3 citizens (including the Minister of Labor - Nasri Abu Jaish), as they participated in a march against settler attacks and confiscation of lands in favor of settlement projects on the village's lands.
At dawn on 13/03/2021, a group of settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement entered the outskirts of the town of Huwara, and threw stones at the citizens' homes located on the western side of the town, where the residents managed to confront the settlers and force them to leave the area.
At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 16:45.
At 03:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Jiftlik, and detained 2 brothers.
1. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Al-Auja town detained the citizen: Alaa Moqbel Al-Hajj Ali - a resident of Jamain town in Nablus governorate.
2. The two detainees in the village of Al-Jiftlik are: Ghassan Abdel-Aziz Al-Atawneh and his brother Muhammad.
1. At 22:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the Caritas Hospital road, north of Bethlehem, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 23:00.
2. At 23:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 00:30.
At dawn on 12/03/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided Husan village, and detained a citizen.
The detainee in Husan village is: Muhammad Yunus Hamamra.
At 13:00,the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens demonstrating against the confiscation of lands in favor of settlement projects in the Ain Al-Bayda area east of Yatta and as a result left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement after gunboats opened fire towards the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza Governorate.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": 12/03/2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
At 21:30 on 12/03/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 16:00 on 12/03/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained a citizen (whose name was unknown), to the east of the town of Juhr Al-Deek, while he was trying to infiltrate through the border fence into Israel.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 12/03/2021 is closed (due to the friday holiday).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 12/03/2021 is closed.
