WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 19:00, the Israeli forces moved into Al-Issawiya village, and arrested a citizen.

Detention

1. On 16 March 2020, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the citizen: Mahmoud Muhammad Aref Al-Khatib, a resident of the town of Hizma.
2. On 16 March 2020, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the citizen: Mohammed Mahmoud Hassan Helwa, Anata resident.
3. On 16 March 2020, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the citizen: Ayman Khaled Hussein Al-Khdour, a resident of the Bedouin town.
4. On the evening of 16. 03. 2020, the occupation forces arrested 2 citizens in the Old City of Jerusalem, namely: Ahmed Shaher Al-Salaymeh and Ahmed Wahba.
5. At 19:00, the occupation forces arrested the citizen: Moataz Abu Jamal - residents of the Jabal Al-Mukabber neighborhood in Jerusalem.
6. At dawn on 17 March 2020, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Jerusalem, the citizen: Nasser Qaws, after they raided his house.
7. The detainee in the village of Issawiya is: Muhammad Imad Dari.

Temporary Detention

At 17:30, the occupying forces detained 8 citizens while carrying out voluntary work to sterilize the facilities, streets and neighborhoods of Jerusalem to prevent the virus: Jad al-Ghoul, Hussam al-Abbasi, Tariq al-Abbasi, Kamel Sharaf, Residents of The Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, Arin al-Zaanin, Mahmoud Abu Gharbia, Bassel Ghoneim, and Burkan Zaatari - Residents of al-Sawana neighborhood of Jerusalem, later released on condition of domestic detention and non-communication with each other for 15 days, in addition to signing financial guarantees.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

1. At 10:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock at the entrance to Ein Yabrud village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
2. At 10:55, Israeli forces set up a roadblock at the entrance to the village of Deir Nizam, to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

Raid

1. At dawn on March 16 2020, an Israeli army force stormed the village of Deir Abu Mashal, and arrested a citizen.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:30, a group of settlers attacked the homes of citizens south of The Village of Burin, and the occupying forces intervened and fired rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas at the citizens as they tried to confront the settlers, injuring two citizens (one of them a child).

1. At 08:20, the occupying forces set up a roadblock at the entrance to the town of Kafal Haris to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
