JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:45 on March 17th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Biddu town tunnel then searched residents and vehicles until 08:45.

Raid

At dawn on March 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 4 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mohammed Yousef Obaid, Mohamed Ibrahim Obaid, Haroun Mohamed Moheisen, and Mohamed Tawfiq Moheisen in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces positioned in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

House Demolition

On the evening of March 17th 2018, Israeli forces stormed Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city and forced Ishaq Al-Shwieky to demolish his home {50 square meters} for allegedly being built with out a licence and forced him to pay a hefty fine.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shuqba village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.
4. At 23:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

Raid

At dawn on March 18th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned at Ni'lin Military checkpoint detained Ziyad Shihada Salim Dar Khalil {A resident of Al-Jalazoun camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammed Attallah Abu Alia, Jihad Abu Alia, and Qusay Abu Alia in Al-Mughier village.

Settlers Attacks

At 00:10, Israeli settlers positioned at "Bet El " settlement stoned several vehicles passing along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Barta'a village , stormed and searched several homes then stormed the home of Ali Rateb Abdel-Latif Qubha {who Israeli forces accuse of an alleged vehicle attack which killed 2 Israeli soldiers and injured 2 Israeli soldiers near "Movo Dotan" military checkpoint located along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem} and took measurements of the home in order to prepare it for demolition.
2. At 17:40, Israeli forces raided Faqu'a village until 19:40.
3. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, its camp, bruqin town and Kafrit village until 03:35.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Kafr Al-Labbad village until 04:10.

Detention

On March 16th 2018, Israeli forces detained Amjad Mohammad Mahmoud Ajouli as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town and detained a child.

Detention

Israeli forces detained the child: Kamal Mohammad Al-Khatib {16 years old} in Jayyous town.

Attack

1.On the evening of March 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum {which is closed} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting the continued closure of the east village entrance for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces positioned near "Ayal" crossing point located along the Green Line in North Qalqiliya city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces positioned near "Shave Shomron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Sharaf village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'a area located at the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:05, Israeli forces raided Burin village until 23:55.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, stormed several homes, detained 5 residents then withdrew at 04:55.

Detention

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara Military checkpoint detained Asharf Mohammad Abdel-Hamid Al-Da' {A resident of Bruqin town in Jenin district}.
2. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Uday Loai Khalefa, Momen Loai Khalafah, Mahmoud Loai Khalafah, Maan Loai Khalafah, and Fares Adel Al-Sayeh in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:05.
2. At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Bidya town, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 02:20.

Settlement Activities

On March 16th 2018, the Israeli Minister of Communications approved the first section of the plan for the construction of the a light railway and light railway project to connect the colony of Ariel (located residential owned land Salfit governorate within the territories occupied in 1967) in the city of Petah Tikva. The train passes along the "Samaria Highway" and the main centers on both sides of the street, including the Ariel settlement university, the Barkan industrial zone, and the Alkana settlement.

JERICHO

At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area near Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 15:00.
2. At 20:55, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city until 21:55.
3. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Sahour city , detained a resident then withdrew at 03:10.
4. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town , stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 06:55.

Detention

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces detained Karam Ibrahim Musa {A resident of Al-Khader town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Musa Yacoub Al-Mara'marji {A resident of Barda'a village}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 01:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sahab junction located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Ithna and Beit Awwa towns and Deir Samit village.
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Yatta town then stormed and searched a home.
3. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and Al-Arrub camp.
4. At dawn on March 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Ramadin village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Sa'id Azzazmah in Al-Ramadin village.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launched 3 tank artillery shells from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 1 resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• Israeli Military air crafts broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards Gaza district.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by detonating a explosive device near the border fence in east Gaza city.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 08:30 on March 16th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 07:30 on March 17th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 08:00 on March 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several farmers and Sheppard in east Al-Zaytoun neighborhood located in south east Gaza city.
2. At 16:15 on March 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired 3 tank artillery shells towards agricultural land in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and as a result injured a resident.

Air Strike

1. At dawn on March 18th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched 8 missiles towards agricultural land located in the area between Al-Shija’iya and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods located in east Gaza city.
2. At dawn on March 18th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched 7 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen bases located in south Gaza city.
3.At dawn on March 18th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched 8 missiles towards agricultural land near Palestinian Gunmen bases located east Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods located in east south Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after firing tank artillery shells in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

At 15:30 on March 17th 2018, Palestinian Gunmen positioned near the border fence in east Gaza city detonated a explosive device.

KHAN YUNIS
