WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on February 27th 2018,The Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip on the occasion of the Jewish "Purim" holiday, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for diplomatic and international missions, Humanitarian Affairs and emergency medical cases after prior coordination until 24:00 on March 3rd 2018 .

JERUSALEM

Raid

1.At dawn on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Qatana village and temporarily detained a resident then released him at a later time.
2. At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Hizma town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces detained Samer Anwar Yunis Obied {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Islam Salim Subieh in Hizma town.

Temporary Detention

At dawn on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained Samid Hussien Khalid Al-Fuqiya during their raid into Qatana village then released him at 22:00.

Attack

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Eizariya town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:45, Israeli forces positioned in Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 23:50, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Jabal area located in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:50.
3. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho district} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:15.

Detention

On February 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Ramallah city detained 2 residents: Ala' Al-Did Salah Mahmoud Ammar and Ashraf Mohammad Jada' Amro then confiscated their vehicles.

Attack

At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

On February 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Ramallah city confiscated a vehicle owned by Ashraf Mohammad Jada' Amro.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:50, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Araba town, Al-Basha and Al-Mansoura villages then searched residents and vehicles until 16:20.

TUBAS

Settlers Attacks

On March 1st 2018, a Israeli settlers positioned in Al-Farisiya area in the North Jordan valley area assaulted a herd of goats owned by Ali Abu Muhsien and chased the herd away from the area.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 17:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Nazlah Al-Sharqiya village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qaliqiya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ibrahim Imran Hussein and Adel Faleh Dahbour in Azzun town.

NABLUS

Raid

At dawn on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Balata camp then detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Bassam Hashash{A resident of Balata camp} and Salah Jamal Issawi {A residents of Nablus city} during their raid into Nablus city and Balata camp .

Attack

At 17:05, Israeli forces positioned near the bypass road which leads to "Alon Moriya" settlement located near Salim village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 19:05, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Shave Shamron" settlement stoned several residents and vehicles in the area.

SALFIT

Temporary Detention

At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint temporarily detained Tamer Khalid Nayef Ammar {A Palestinian Intelligence officer}{A resident of Kafr Qalil village in Nablus District} then released him at a later time.

JERICHO

Attack

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:10.

Raid

At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 12:25.

Detention

At 11:05, Israeli forces positioned at Checkpoint {300} in North Bethlehem city detained Ala Khader Ahmad Salama {A resident of Bethlehem city} for alleged attempting to stab a Israeli soldier.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at Al-Fuwar camp detained Mahmoud Majed Al-Teti.

Attack

At 13:25, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards and raiding Khan Yunis district.
Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of Humanitarian and emergence medical cases} for Jewish Holidays.

Attack

At 08:00 on March 1st 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 07:30 on March 1st 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50m into the vicinity of east Al-Fakhari town, opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 13:00.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of 30 fuel trucks.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed {for Jewish holidays}.
