Closure

• At 24:00 on March 19th 2019,The Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the "Purim holiday" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for diplomatic and international missions, Emergency medical care after its prior coordination, until 24:00 on March 23rd 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 05:30 on March 19th 2019, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a resident.
2. On the morning of March 19th 2019, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp, demolished a building {consisting of 2 floors} which is part of Al-Razi school for allegedly being built without a licence.

Detention

1. At 04:15 on March 19th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Muneer Marwan Musa Atwan and Jihad Mohammad Ahmad Atwan in Sur Baher village.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Al-Safadi in Jerusalem city.
3. At 15:30, Israeli forces detained Alaa Al-Zaghir in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. At 16:30, Israeli forces detained Samad Awad Beit Hanina town.
5. Israeli forces detained Yazan Khlid Muhisien in Abu Dis town.

Destruction of Property

On the morning of March 19th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a building {consisting of 2 floors} which is part of Al-Razi school during their raid into Shu'fat camp for allegedly being built without a licence.

Assaults on Property

On March 19th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Qalandiya camp and served a military order to halt construction on an expansion project for Equestrian Club for allegdly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On March 19th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:10, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Zied town.
2. At 20:25, Israeli forces raided Awarta town until 01:15.
3. At 21:05, Israeli forces raided Eibwein town, opened fire and launched "Energa"- anti-tank rifle grenades as they surrounded a home and as a result killed a resident {whom Israeli forces suspect opened fire towards "Arail" settlement junction which killed 2 Israeli soldiers and seriously injured 3 Israeli settlers} during which they clashed with several residents and they stormed and searched several homes which injured 3 residents, detained 5 others then withdrew at a later time.
4. At dawn on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At dawn on March 19th 2019, Israeli forces detained the child: Nasrallah Adel Hassan Al-Barghouthi {17 years old} during their raid into Deir Abu Mash'al village.
2. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Sultan Othman, Mahmoud Sabtan, Ahmed Sultan, Youssef Saeed Hamad, and Ahmed Jaafar Harb in Eibwein town.

At 21:05, Israeli forces opened fire and launched "Energa"- anti-tank rifle grenades as they surrounded a home and as a result killed a resident {whom Israeli forces suspect opened fire towards "Arail" settlement junction which killed 2 Israeli soldiers and seriously injured 3 Israeli settlers} during which they fired rubber coated steel bullets' stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes which injured 3 residents during their raid into Eibwein town.

Israeli forces killed Omar Amin Yusef Abu Liela {19 years old}{A resident of Al-Zawiya town in Salfit district} {whom Israeli forces suspect opened fire towards "Arail" settlement junction which killed 2 Israeli soldiers and seriously injured 3 Israeli settlers} in Eibwein town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Yazan Adnan 'Aliwa, Ayman al-Zubaidi, and'Abd Mahmoud Mahareb during clashes in Eibwein town.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qabatiya town and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 15:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town, Deir Abu Da'if and Beit Qad villages.
2. At 05:55, Israeli forces raided Rumana village.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Qabatiya town detained Mohammad Adel Mustafa Ma'ala {A resident of Qabatiya town}.

TUBAS

Raid

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Tamoun town and Tayasir village, detained a resident in Tamoun town then withdrew at 06:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Jihad Bani Oda in Tamoun town.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city , Shweika neighborhood, Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50 and again at 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:15.
2. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 16:50, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Al-Naqqar neighborhood in Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'a area located near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 01:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces raided Qussin village.
2. At 22:05, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 13 residents and left 15 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation during which they opened fire towards a vehicle near the Tomb area and as a result killed 2 residents.

Attack

At 22:05, Israeli forces opened fire a vehicle and as a result killed 2 residents,clashed with several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 13 residents and left 15 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation as they escorted Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during their raid into Nablus city.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 residents: Raed Hisham Mohammad Hamdan {21 years old} and Imad Mohammad Nuri {29 years old}{Both are residents of Nablus city} after opening fire towards a vehicle near Joseph's tomb area in Nablus city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 13 unidentified residents during their raid into Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 15:35, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Madma village, stoned several homes during which local residents were able to chase the settlers from the area.
2. At 16:15, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Huwara military checkpoint stoned vehicles passing through the checkpoint.
3. At 16:45, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village stoned several vehicles

At 22:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwqat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

Closure of main Roads

On March 19th 2019, Israeli forces closed the entrances of Bruqin and Kafr Al-Dik towns thus preventing residents from entering or exiting the towns.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village junction {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur town} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:40.

Raid

1. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Jala city until 00:35.
2. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Hamza Abdel-Azziz Abu Sarour in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on March 20th 2019, Israeli settlers stormed Beitir village, slashed the tires of several vehicles and spray painted anti Arab and racist slogans on the walls of a mosque.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rabod village then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.
2. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:15.
3. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani N'iem town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:15.

Raid

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Khursa village.
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town.
3. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Surif town.

Attack

At 13:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children near Ziyad Jaber Boys school in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza and Central Gaza districts and as a result injured 8 residents and left 23 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• Israeli Air force broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 2 missiles {in 2 consecutive airstrikes} towards Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1.At 14:00 on March 19th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards approximately 20 Palestinian fishing boats during demonstrations off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town until 17:30.
2. At 14:00 on March 19th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return.
3. At 14:50 on March 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in North west Beit Lahiya town during the march of return and as a result injured 6 residents and left 23 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
4. At 19:30 on March 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Beit Hanun during the march of return.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified residents during clashes North West Beit Lahiya town during the march of return.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Air Strike

At 17:55 on March 19th 2019, Israeli military aircraft's launched 1 missile near several residents who were flying incendiary kites near the border fence in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 16:20 on March 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Air Strike

At 18:30 on March 19th 2019, Israeli Military aircraft's launched missiles towards a group of residents flying incendiary kites towards the border fence in east Rafah city.
