WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on March 19th 2019, . The Israeli occupation forces impose a total closure on the West Bank on the occasion of the "Purim holiday" of the Jews, and prevent citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian cases. And emergency medical cases after prior coordination until March 23rd 2019.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Mukhmas village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town.

Detention

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces detained Nur Al-Din Al-Basati {A resident of Shu'fat neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Uday Saleh Hassan Mashahrat and Shadad Abed Mansour {both are residents of Al-Shiekh Al-Sa'ed village} as they returning from Jabal Al-Mukabir school.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Nidal Ghayth in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Deportation

On the afternoon of March 20th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a order banning Mohammad Al-Salhi {A Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque for a period of 15 days as a condition for his release after being detained near Bab Al-Rahma gate {The Golden Gate- A main entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On March 20th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Raid

At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Beit Sira village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several merchant shop, confiscated surveillance camera footage and as a result injured a resident.

Detention

On the morning of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Sira military checkpoint detained Samir Mahmoud Assi {A resident of Beit Liqya town}.

Attack

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several merchants shops and confiscated surveillance camera footage during their raid into Beit Sira village and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 12:25, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {who were protesting against killing of 3 residents} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left 12 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured Abdallah Mohammad Abu Safiya during clashes in Beit Sira village.
2. Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces closed all the entrances leading to Beit Sira village and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.
2. On the evening of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces closed all the entrances of Deir Nitham village and prevented residents from entering or exiting the village.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces raided Sanour village.
2. At 17:05, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town.
3. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Qabatiya and Araba towns and Marka village.

Detention

At 20:20, Israeli forces positioned at "Salem" military base detained Mamdouh Rinhi Othman Abu Libda {A resident of Qalqiliya city} as he was attending his sons court hearing.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:30, Israeli settlers stormed the area of "Hoimsh" settlement and set fire in the area then withdrew at a later time.

TUBAS

Detention

At 01:30 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces detained Tamer Na'im Wahdan during their raid into Tayassir village.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town and Safarin, Kafr Sur , Kur and Al-Ras villages.
2. At 05:50, Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya town, Nazlat Issa, Nazlat Abu Al-Nar and Nazlat Al-Sharqiya villages.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Al-Naqqar neighborhood in Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Shavie Shamron" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Muraba'a area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Sharaf village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces raided Orif village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 13:45, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town.
3. At 13:55, Israeli forces raided Einbus village.
4. At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village.

Attack

At 08:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Orif village.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Burqa village, stone the home of Mahmoud Kamil Hajat which is located at the village entrance and damaged 2 vehicles parked in front of the house then opened fire after local residents attempted to prevent their attack.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Istiya town.
2. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Salfit city.
3. At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.

Detention

At 13:00, Israeli forces detained Adam Hazim Musa Omar Musa {A resident of Bruqin town}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jericho city and detained a resident.

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Jericho city.

Detention

1. On the morning of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Hamra military checkpoint detained Ayman Amjad Hikmat Al-Masri {A resident of Tubas city}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Jericho city detained Khalid Ali Al-Hindi {A resident of Al-Amary camp in Al-Bireh city}.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction{located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces raided Bettar village.
2. At 02:20,Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and summoned Omar Khattab Hassan Subieh to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Attack

At 21:05, Israeli forces positioned at a Military observance tower located at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} opened fire towards a vehicle carrying a resident, his wife and children and as a result critical injured him after he was struck by live ammunition to his abdomen then opened fire towards another resident who exited his vehicle and attempted to attend to the injured and as a result killed him.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Ahmad Jamal Mahmoud Manasra {26 years old}{A resident of Wadi Fukin village} after opening fire towards him after he exited his vehicle and attempted to attend to an injured resident near a Military observance tower located at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city}.

Injuries

Israeli forces positioned at a Military observance tower located at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city}. opened fire towards and injured Ala Mohammad Taha Ghabaytha {38 year old}{A resident of Nihalin town}.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces closed the west entrance of Teqou', impeded the free flow of traffic then reopened it at a later time.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 09:45 and again at 07:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a child.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Ithna town and Deir Sammit village.

Detention

1. On March 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish military checkpoint located near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron detained Isra Hamad Taha Abu Sineina.
2. Israeli forces detained Loia Hakam Al-Zaro {17 years old} in Hebron city.

Attack

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {who were protesting against killing of 3 residents} for alleged stoning.
2. At 20:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

House Demolition

1. At 09:55,Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Ali Mohammad Ali Abu Arram located in Khirbeit Al-Halawa area located in south east Yatta town.
2. On the morning of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Issa Ali Awad Zien in Tuba village located in south east Yatta town.

Destruction of Property

On the morning of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a live stock den owned by Salama Shihada Makhamra in Maghayer Al-Abied located in south east Yatta town.

Confiscation of Property

1. On the morning of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated electrical solar panels and several electrical house located in Tuba village located in east Yatta town.
2. On the morning of March 20th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 2 water tanks owned by Issa Alio Awad Bani Zien located in Tuba village located in east Yatta town.

Assault on Educational sector

On March 20th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Zied Jaber secondary school located in the old city of Hebron and temporarily detained a child inside his classroom then released him after the vice principle.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza,Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• Israeli Air force broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 1 missiles towards Central Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 09:00 on March 20th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town, detained 2 fishermen and confiscated their fishing boat.

Detention

1. At 10:30 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident as he attempted to climb the border fence from North Beit Lahiya town into Israel.
2.Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified fishermen off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town

Confiscation of Property

At 09:00 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a fishing boat after opening fire towards it off the shores of Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town then detained 2 fishermen.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 08:00 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 70m into the vicinity of east Gaza city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 13:00.

Attack

1. At 12:30 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents located near the border fence in east Gaza city.
2. At 19:00 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 19:00 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return.

Air Strike

At 21:00 on March 20th 2019, Israeli Military aircraft's launched missiles towards a group of residents as they were flying Incendiary kites near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 13:30 on March 20th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 19:00 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march.

Detention

At 22:30 on March 20th 2019, Israeli forces detained 1 unidentified resident in east Khan Yunis city as he attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
