Daily Report March 22, 2017

At 20:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Shu'fat Military checkpoint in Jerusalem city and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Jib village and Biddu town then searched residents and vehicle.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 19:00, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Idris {A resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.

At 13:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Abu Dis town.

At 20:30, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints near Atarah town bridge, at the entrances of Abboud town and Khirbithat Bani Harith village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At dawn on March 21st 2017, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.
2. At 09:25, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and summoned Ali Hussien Al-Sabati {A National Security Force officer} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
3. At 19:50, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town and temporarily detained 2 residents: Ahmad Hassan Hammad Marshoud {12 years old} and Wafa Hassan Hammad Marshoud {11 years old} then released them at a later time.
4. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Nil'in town, clashed with several residents and detained a resident.
5. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:10.
6. At dawn on March 22nd 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Sira village and detained a resident.

1. Israeli forces detained Murad Suliman Ibrahim Ata in Deir Abu Mash'al village.
2. Israeli forces detained Hassan Ribhi Naf'e in Ni'lin town.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Salah Hassunah in Al-Jalazoun camp.
4. Israeli forces detained Ali Ahmad Khattab in Beit Sira village.

At 19:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 children: Ahmad Hassan Hamad Marshoud (12 years old) and Wafa Hassan Hamad Murshid (11 years old).

At 23:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ni'lin town.

At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Jenin city.

At 06:30, Israeli forces raided Ibziq village in the North Jordan valley, detained a resident, confiscated a tractor owned by Mohammad Al-Haroub and a vehicle owned by Hayil Turkman.

At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city.

1. At 13:00,19:00 and again at 22:30 Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Kafr Thulth then searched residents and vehicle.
3. At 19:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinsafut village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Wazzan village , temporarily detained 2 residents: Mohammad Jamil Yusef and Ahmad Ghazi then released them at a later time and withdrew at 10:00.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Assira Al-Shamaliya town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.
3. At 22;35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharif village junction {along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem}, detained 2 residents temporarily detained 2 other residents
{including a child}: Omar Mahmoud Shahin {14 years old} and Mohammad Al-Ashqar {both residents of Ein Beit Al-Ma camp in Nablus city} then released them at a later time.

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village {located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus} temporally detained 2 residents: Ali Yusef Mahmoud Marouf and Ala Ahmad Khalid Qatani {both residents of Ein Beit Al-Ma camp in Nablus city}.

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Beit Wazan village temporarily detained Mohammad Jamil Yusef and Ahmad Ghazi Abu Thara'{ Both are residents of Balata camp in Nablus} then released them at a later time.
2. At 22;35, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint located near Deir Sharaf village junction{ located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} temporarily
detained 2 children: Omar Mahmoud Shahien {14 years old} and Mohammad Salim Al-Ashqar.

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Bruqin and Kafr Al-Dik towns then searched residents and vehicle until 23:55.

1. At 11:35 and again at 23:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Faradis village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 13:40.

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 20:00.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, clashed with several residents and damaged 2 vehicles owned by Manal Abu Hussien and Waheeb Thawabtah after they were rammed by a Israeli military jeep.
3. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Husan village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 23:50.
4. At 03:35, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem and Beit Jallah cities then detained 2 residents.

1. At 02:25 on March 21st 2017, Israeli forces detained Mustafa Waleed Al-Bastaji in Beit Jallah city.
2. At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned at Mazmouriya Military checkpoint in Beit Sahur city detained Ayed Masaud Muhisien Al-Badan.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Jamal Al-Azat and Wael Amjad Al-Khatib in Bethlehem and Beit Jallah cities.

3. At dawn on March 22nd 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town then stormed and searched several homes.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

1. At 08:00 on March 21st 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in the vicinity of Sufa crossing located in North east Rafah city.
2. At 01:00 on March 22nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Lin launched tank artillery shells towards Al-Nahda neighborhood located in east Rafah city {which is located near the border fence} and as a result killed a resident and injured 2 others.

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Yusef Sha'ban Abu Athra {18 years old} in Al-Nahda neighborhood located in east Rafah city.
