WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on March 19th 2019, . The Israeli occupation forces impose a total closure on the West Bank on the occasion of the "Purim holiday" of the Jews, and prevent citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian cases. And emergency medical cases after prior coordination until March 23rd 2019.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hizma town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
2. At 16:00, Israeli Police prevented worshipers from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On March 21st 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:25, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Deir Abu Mash'al , Deir Ammar and Khirbithat Bani Harith then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:35, Israeli forces raided Burham and Jibiya villages.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.

Detention

At 20:40, Israeli forces detained Azzam Suhweil {A resident of Ibwein town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence officers for questioning based on a prior summon.

JENIN

Raid

1. At dawn on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided Marka village and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town and detained a resident.
3. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Annin, Al-Tayba, Zubaba and Rumana villages until 03:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mu'taz Yusef Jalboush and Abdallah Saleh Musa in Marka village.
2. Israeli forces detained Taha Najeh Al-Sharqawi in Al-Zababda town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 18:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Allat town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, stormed and searched the home of Daud Abdel-Rahman Jaber and confiscated 1000 NIS.
2. At 11:15, Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya town and Nazlat Abu Al-Nar village.
3. At 12:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ruman village.
4. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Sur and Al-Ras villages.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 1000 NIS after storming and searching the home of Daud Abdel-Rahman Jaber during their raid into Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Immatin village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablat tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Muraba'a area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Furiq town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Madma village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sara village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqiliya} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town, confiscated surveillance camera footage from a gas station {after unidentified residents hurled a fire bomb towards settler vehicle in the area}.

Settlers Attacks

On March 21st 2019, Israeli settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement stormed agricultural land in Orif village and stoned several homes during which local residents were able to chase away the settlers from the area.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Salfit city.
2. At 22:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road {90} then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the villages in west Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla city until 03:10.

Attack

At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Wadi Fukin village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 16:50, Israeli forces raided Dura and Beit Awwa towns and Al-Tabaqa village.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 04:40.
3. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Tefuh town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces detained Ehab Raed Kathim Abu Amr in the old city of Hebron.
2. Israeli forces detained Jihad Thaher Shaker Irziqat in Tefuh town.

Settlers Attacks

On March 21st 2019,a Israeli vehicle ran over Jum'a Qafishat {A member of the construction committee in Hebron city} and as a result left him hospitalized with a fractured arm and contusions.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launching tank artillery shells from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza,Gaza,Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 10 residents.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 08:30 on March 21st 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 19:00 on March 21st 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 19:00 on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 11:30 on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 19:00 on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident during clashes in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city .

Detention

At 21:15 on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents in east Khan Yunis city as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 19:00 on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march.
2. At 20:00 on March 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Rafah city and as a result injured 7 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 unidentified residents after launching tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in east Rafah city.
