WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

On March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Bir Nabala town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 06:00 on March 26th 2017, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, stormed and searched the home of Jamal Yaqub Halbiya as they attempted to detained his son who was not at home.
2. At 04:50, Israeli forces raided raided Qalandiya camp located in North Jerusalem city, fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents then detained 3 residents.

Destruction of Property

At 08:30, Israeli forces stormed Al-Shiekh Jarrah area in Jerusalem city and demolished a tire repair shop and also served military orders for the demolition of several containers located near The Red Crescent hospital in Jerusalem city.

Detention

1. On the morning of March 26th 2018, Israeli forces detained 8 resiednts {including}: Amin and Maamoun Basil Mahmoud, Haitham and Hussein Shadi Obaid, Mohammed Ahmed Attia, Dawood Yousef Attieh in Al-Eisawiya town.
2. At 05:05, Israeli forces detained the child Maher Daoud Far'oun {18 years old}{A resident of Eizariya town}.
3. At 06:00 on March 26th 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Wajih Nimer Awad {19 years old}, and Uday Nimer Abdul Jawad {both residents of Anata town}.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Anas al-Shu'ani, Mu'ayyad Yusuf Kanaan and Ahmad Mazen Hussein Shehadeh in Qalandiya camp.
5. At 23:00, Israeli forces detained Na'im Ramadan {A Resident of Silwan town in Jerusalem city}.

Attack

At 04:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Al-Mahkama"-"Bet El" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:50.

Raid

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Jabal Al-Taweel area located in Al-Bireh city then stormed and searched the home of Munthir Al-Jayousi and Fadi Musa Quran.
2. At 10:35 and again at 18:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town and detained 3 residents.
3. At 16:35, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet city and detained 2 children.
4. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city and detained 3 residents.

Attack

At 16:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coasted steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents during clashes in Jabal Al-Taweel area located in Al-Bireh city.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hani Mohamed Jamal Mafarja, Rasem Abbas Abdel Hafez Assi [{24 years old} and Marcel Adel Abdel Assi {23 years old} Beit Liqya town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 children: Mujahid Bahij Munir Washiha {16 years old and Azadin Khalaf Abdul Mohsen Shaaban {17 years old} in Bir Ziet town.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yahya Mesbah Alawi, Ahmed Abu Youssef and Ahmed Khamis Rayyan in Ramallah city.
4. At 16:20, Israeli forces positioned along the by pass road near Kafr Malik village detained 2 residents: Fadi Ahmed Shawkat {19 years old} and Abdel Fattah Farouk Mubarak {19 years old}.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces raided Jenin city then detained a resident.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mahdi Mahmoud Abu Al-Hassan {26 years old} in Jenin city.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Abdul Rahman Abu al-Rub {20 years old}, and Mohammed Khalil Kamil {19 years old} in Qabatiya town.

Temporary Detention

At 13:42, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jamala Military checkpoint temporarily detained the child Ahmad Abdel-Fattah Abu Baker {14 years old}{A resident of Ya'bad town} then released him at a later time.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:00, a Israeli settler herded his flock of goats in agricultural land owned by residents of Araba town.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bardala town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 18:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Nazlah Al-Sharqiya village.

Attack

At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned near Wall gate"104" located in west Tulkarem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrances of Azzun and Izbit Al-Tabib towns then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum town and detained 2 Security Force officers.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city and detained 4 residents.
3. At 18:45, Israeli forces raided Azzun town then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Izzat Ghazi Obied {A National Security Force officer} in Kafr Qaddum town.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mohammed Amin Shaath, Assem Hassan Tiem, Mohammad Nael Salmi and Mahmoud Ahmad Qatawi in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:24, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:15 and again at 22:00, Israeli forces raided Nablus city.

Detention

At 22:06, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara military checkpoint detained Zaher Amer Mohammed Barakat {26 years old}
{A resident of Anabta village east of Tulkarem city}.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:50, Israeli settlers assaulted Tayseer Hasssan Suliman Khaldiya {63 years old}{A resident of Huwara town} and as s result left him hospitalized with contusions.

SALFIT

Raid

At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan village.

Detention

At 13:35, Israeli forces detained Bader Fahim Foad Al-Khufash {A resident of Marda town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

On the evening of March 26th 2018 and again at 03:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Duhisheheh camp, fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents then detained a resident.

Attack

Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents during their raid into Al-Duhisheheh camp.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Nour Hassan Najjar {20 years old} in Al-Duhisheheh camp.

HEBRON

Killings

On March 26th 2018, Hassan Al-Shawamra {53 years old}{A ex-Detainee} died at a hospital in Hebron city of Cancer who was recently released from Israeli Military prison on June 29th 2017 because of his deteriorating health.

Raid

1. At 01:18, Israeli forces raided Ithna town and summoned Moath Mohammad Jahisha and Mohammad Abdel-Kareem Farjallah to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At 02:30 and again at 03:15, Israeli forces raided Halhul town and detained 2 residents.
3. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained 2 residents.

Attack

At 07:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents near Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint located in Hebron city.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Tamer Jihad Albou and Tamer Imad Al - Saadain Halhul town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Abdo Atiya Ahmed Badawi and Ezz Ahmed Abdel Latif Abu Selin Al-Arrub camp.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 22:00, Israeli settlers stormed Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in Hebron city and assaulted then child Nader Zied Abu Ayasha and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
2. At 22:10, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed a home owned by Yusef Shams Al-Za'tari which is located near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound in the old city if Hebron.
3. At 22:30, a group of Israeli settlers attacked and stormed the home of Fawaz Qufshiya located in the old city of Hebron then forcibly removed him from his home

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the cease fire agreement by raiding and opening fore towards North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 08:30 , Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed into North West Beit Lahiya town and leveled a plot of agricultural land.

Attack

At 07:15 on March 26th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 09:30 on March 26th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 17:30 on March 26th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards demonstrators located in east Khuz'a area located in Khan Yunis city protesting against the American Presidents decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and his intention of relocating the American Embassy to Jerusalem.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
