WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

On March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

On the morning of March 27th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of the tunnel leading to Biddu town and detained 3 residents {including a woman}.

Raid

1. At 05:15, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp located in North Jerusalem city and detained a resident.
2. On the morning of March 28th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya town, stormed and searched several homes detained 2 residents {including a woman} after storming their home.

Detention

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces detained Ahmed Yahya Abad {A resident of Abu Dis town and A member of the Presidential Guard) as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a woman}: Rasila Shammasneh and her daughters Sara and Fatima Shamasneh {they are residents of Qutna town}.
4. Israeli forces detained Omar Abu Latifa in Qalandiya camp.
5. On the morning of March 28th 2018, Israeli forces detained Wasim Nayef Obied and his wife after storming their homes in Al-Eisawiya town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 02:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Yabroud town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town then detained a resident.
2.At 10:40, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin village, stormed and searched the home of Mohammad Abdel-Kareem Al-Khatib then withdrew at a later time.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town, detained 4 residents then withdrew at 05:15.
4. At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Eibwein village until 05:20.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mohammad Suliman Abu Yusef Ghanam {21 years old}{A resident of Aqraba village}.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Talib Mohammed Dheeb, Ahmed Mohamed Thib, Ayman Ahmed Mohamed Thib and Adel Ahmed Mohamed Thib in Beit Liqya town.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 08:05, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ra'i town and detained a resident.
2.At 05:50, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, stormed and searched several homes owned by Ibrahim Hussein Al-Swaiti and Abdullah Abu Al-Rab.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Bassam Nabil Diab {31 years old} in Kafr Ra'i town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city until 12:32.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Allar town and detained 5 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Assaad Emad Jamil Ja'ar, Mumin Zakaria Anini, Tamer Raouf Khondakji, Shadi Basem Yousif Jaar and Ibrahim Tawfiq Sadeq Jebat in Allar town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town , fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents

2. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town then fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents.

Attack

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents during clashes in Azzun town then withdrew at 13.45.

2. At 19:00,Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents during clashes in Jayyous town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents:Murad Saqr Ibrahim Salim {22 years old}, and Ghaleb Ahmed Ibrahim Selim{19 years old} in Azzun town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli military intensified their restrictions at Za'tara military checkpoint then searched residents and vehicles as they impeded the free flow of traffic until 10:00.

Raid

1. On the evening of March 27th 2018, Israeli forces raided Madma village then stormed and searched several homes.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Burin village then fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents until 02:00.
3. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Orif village, detained a residents then withdrew at 04:20.
4. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Qabalan town, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:25.
5. At 05:10, Israeli forces raided Awarta village, detained a resident until 05:31.

Attack

At 23:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several residents during their raid into Burin village.

Detention

1. On the morning of March 27th 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Moataz Aziz Afouri {33 years old} and Hamza Mamoun Ja'ara {24 years old} during their raid into Nablus city.
2. Israeli forces detained Yassin Kayed Abdel Latif Sabah {19 years old} in Orif village.
3. Israeli forces detained Obada Mahmoud Judah {23 years old} in Qabalan town.
4. Israeli forces detained Anas Sa'ed Odah in Awrata village.

Settlers Attacks

At 19:20, a group of Israeli settler stormed Al-Rasam area located in South Madma village and stoned several residents then withdrew at 20:45.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 21:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Container military checkpoint then searched residents and vehicles as they impeded the free flow of traffic until 22:25.

House Demolition

On the morning of March 28th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed Ein Al-Juziyat area in Al-Walja village in west Bethlehem city and demolished a home {approximately 180 square meters} owned by Nader Mahmoud Abu Khayriya for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Destruction of Property

On the morning of March 28th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed Ein Al-Juziyat area in Al-Walja village in west Bethlehem city and demolished a tomb stone for Abd Raboo family and its surrounding walls for allegedly being built with out a licence.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.

Raid

At 02:16, Israeli forces raided Yatta town then detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ali Ibrahim Abu Alyan {23 years old} in Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 14:30 on March 27th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah town.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 17:30 on March 27th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Detention

At 10:00 on March 27th 2018, Israeli forces detained 3 unidentified residents who attempted to climb the border fence.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
