WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on February 27th 2018,The Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip on the occasion of the Jewish "Purim" holiday, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for diplomatic and international missions, Humanitarian Affairs and emergency medical cases after prior coordination until 24:00 on March 3rd 2018 .

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. On March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Yazid Ariqat {16 years old} in Abu Dis town.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammed Ibrahim Darwish, Thaer Mohammed Moheisen, and Nour Maher Moheisen in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 16:10, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Kabsah area located in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Nathim village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.

Raid

At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Nasser Ahmad Mahmoud Ameer in Deir Intham village.

Attack

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 12:35, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned in Bil'in village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and a as a result injured 5 residents {including a journalist}.
4. At 13:55, Israeli forces positioned near Budrus village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
5. At 17:10, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in south Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Ahmed Iyad Hassouna and Ahmed Mohamed Jawad Namra during clashes near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city.
2. Israeli forces injured 5 residents including Issam Al-Rimawi {A Journalist} during clashes near Bil'in village.

JENIN

Detention

At 18:45, Israeli forces positioned at Barta'a Military checkpoint detained Mushier Faris Rashid Abu Bakr {A resident of Ya'bad town}.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint until 17:20.

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Safarin village then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous and Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 12:35, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting against the closure of the village entrance for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at the west area of Jayyous village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 23:00, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 16:45.

Detention

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint detained Hamdan Imad Khatatba {A resident of Beit Furiq town}
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Furiq Military checkpoint detained Omar Jabour {A resident of Salim village} .

Attack

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Beita town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 14:10, Israeli forces positioned near Huwara Military checkpoint fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 15:40, Israeli forces positioned near Kafr Qalil village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned at the south area of Madma village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
5. At 16:40, Israeli forces positioned near Salem village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

SALFIT

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Attack

1. At 13:05, Israeli forces positioned at the south entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 14:15.
2. At 22:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 18:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained a resident.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, summoned 3 residents: Shadi Mohammed Abdullah Al-Harimi, Yousef Nasser Salama and Mohamed Abdel Nasser Soman to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmed Yahya Ibrahim Moussa in Al-Khader town.

Attack

At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At dawn on March 3rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Qaqlqas village located in south Hebron and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on March 3rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.

Detention

1. On March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Khilat Al-Adrah area located in east Yatta detained Ibrahim Issa Mohammad Al-Shawahin {17 years old} after assaulting him as he was herding his goats.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Anas Abdul Azim Abu Turki, and his brother Suhaib during their raid into Qaqlqas village located in south Hebron.

Attack

At 15:10, Israeli forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and temporarily detained 2 residents before releasing them at a later time.

Temporary Detention

At 15:10, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city temporarily detained 2 children: Hassan Mohamed Ghazal {16 years old}, and Baha Abu Halawa {16 years old} then released them at 20:10.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:50, Israeli settlers stormed Al-Rajabi neighborhood in the old city of Hebron then assaulted several residents.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza,Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district and as a result injured 16 residents.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed {with the exception of Humanitarian and emergence medical cases} for Jewish Holidays.

Attack

1. At 07:30 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 11:10 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
3.At 15:00 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing point and as a result injured 2 residents.
4. At 15:00 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 5 residents.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing point.

2. Israeli forces injured 5 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 10:50 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in Jahr Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.
2. At 15:00 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and as a result injured 1 resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident during clashes in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 11:00 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.
2. At 15:00 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured 1 resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:00 on March 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured 7 residents.

Israeli forces injured 7 unidentified residents during clashes in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed {with the exception of the entry of 33 fuel trucks}.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
