WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

On March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At dawn on March 29th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and detained a resident.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Hanina town, stormed and searched the home of Ziyad Abu Irmalah and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Bahaa Mohammed Kanaan {A resident of Al-Ram town} in Al-Ram town.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint detained Fadi 'Azbaz Hussein Qandil {A resident of Beit Surik town} on the pretext of possession of a knife.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 children Hatem Abu 'Rumaila {10 years old} and Amir Abu Rumaila {8 years old} in Beit Hanina town.
4. At 20:25, Israeli forces detained Alaa 'Omar Awad {32 years old} {A resident of Bethlehem city near the settlement of "Ma'ale Adumim"}.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:25, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of main Roads

On the morning of March 29th 2018, Israeli forces closed the main entrance of Deir Intham village located in North West Rammallah with cement blocks.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents during their raid in Al-Nabi Saleh village then withdrew at 17:30.
2. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Kobar village then detained a resident.

Attack

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Mahkama Military checkpoint near Bet El settlement in North Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents then withdrew at 17:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Faisal Sayid {30 years old} in Kobar village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the main entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:36, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

On March 29th 2018, Israeli forces detained Diaa Yousef al-Maghrabi {27 years old} {A resident of Balata refugee camp}/

JERICHO

Attack

At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned at the south entrance of Jericho city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents then withdrew at 17:15.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Qabr Hilwa area located near Dar Salah village located in east Bethlehem city then searched residents and vehicles until 12:50.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.
3.At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Nihalin town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:54.

Raid

At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, stormed and searched the home of Atta Taya Al-Harimi and detained his son then withdrew at 04:26.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmed Atta Tayeh Al-Harimi {25 years old} in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tarqumiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents and as a result injured several residents then served military orders to halt construction on homes owned by Sami Ahmad Mustafa Khalil and Jamal Ghnimat.
2. At 21:55, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 2 residents.
3. On the morning of March 29th 2018, Israeli forces raided the old city of Hebron, stormed and searched several homes and as a result damaged furniture then detained 4 residents including a child.
4. On the morning of March 29th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town and detained a resident.

Attack

At 15:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Abdul Hamid Al Rajabi {48 years old} and Osama Mohammed Abdul Hamid Al Rajabi {23 years old} in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Yazan Atta Rajabi {17 years old}, Radwan Mohammed Yousif Ziadeh, Malik Munther Qafisha (university student) and Maen Al-Julani in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Ayed Asfour in Beit Kahil town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 11:00 on March 29th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 11:00 on March 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Jabaliya town protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} and against the American Presidents decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and his intention of relocating the American Embassy to Jerusalem.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. On the evening of March 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards residents in east Gaza city and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 10:00 on March 29th 2018,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al- Shija'iya area protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} and against the American Presidents decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and his intention of relocating the American Embassy to Jerusalem.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 13:00 on March 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several demonstrators in east Khan Yunis city protesting protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} and against the American Presidents decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and his intention of relocating the American Embassy to Jerusalem.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 04:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several farmers in Al-Qarara area located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result killed a residents and injured another.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Omar Wahid Nasrallah Samour {31 years old} during clashes in east Al-Qarara area.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Qarara area.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
