WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• On March 26th 2018, Israeli Military imposed a full closure on the on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of 8 days for the Jewish Passover holidays starting on midnight of Thursday March 29th 2018 until April 7th 2018.
•On March 30th 2018,The mass rallies erupted in all districts of the Gaza Strip on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Land Day and to demand the right to return to their land that they were expelled from in 1948.
• On March 31st 2018 a general strike was held in all districts in the West Bank which included schools, universities, shops and banks, after President Mahmoud Abbas declared a day of national mourning after the death of 15 citizens during their participation in the marches on the anniversary (the 42nd anniversary of Land Day).

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Annan town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Adam Fadi Ali Mustafa, Mohamed Issa Ali Mustafa and Qusay Ahmed Saleh Dari {All residents of Al-Eisawiya village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Wissam Elias Hussein Rabie in Beit Anan town.

Attack

1. At 16:25, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Al-Kabsa area located in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces positioned at the North junction of Al-Ram town fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Intham village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Detention

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city detained 2 residents: Yazid Mahmoud Odeh, and his son Yazan Yazid Mahmoud Odeh {17 years old} {Both are residents of Sayda village in Tulkarem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Anas Samir Abu Alia {14 years old} in Al-Mughier village.

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents {including a child}.
2. At 13:25, Israeli forces positioned near Budrus village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents {including a child}.
3. At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned near Ni'lin town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
4. At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
5. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired live ammunition rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents.
6. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Deir Intham village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.
7. At 18:00,Israeli forces positioned near "Pesagot" settlement junction located in east Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
8. At 00:45, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Um Safa town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 4 residents: Ahmed Khalid Ghazawneh{16 years old}, Riad Sa'id Salameh Mekhal, Maher Abdel Razek Tarawneh and Abdel Karim Yousif Jabarin during clashes at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city.
2. Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Abdullah Omar Awad, Ramez Salameh Zayed 17 years old, and Ghaleb Mustafa Mufid Alianduring clashes in Budrus village.
3. Israeli forces injured Faraj Abdelkader Barghouti during clashes near the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village
4. Israeli forces injured 3 residents {identified}: Ismail Barghouthi during clashes at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village
5. Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes near the entrance of Deir Intham village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:05 and again at 02:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed} fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned at military checkpoint located in South Qalqilya city fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 15:40, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate located in Al-Naqqar neighborhood in Qalqiliya city fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint until 16:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beita town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 14:25, Israeli forces positioned at Beita town junction fired stun and tear gas canisters clashed with several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Qusra village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

JERICHO

Attack

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

Temporary Detention

At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Jericho city temporarily detained Faraj Mohammad Awad Al-Jindi {A National Security Force officer}{A resident of Jenin camp} then released him at 19:40.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:50.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 00:30.

Raid

1. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on March 31st 2018, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem and Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, detained a resident in Bethlehem city and summoned 2 residents: Hussein Saleh Abu Aker and Ghassan Fouad Alian {both are residents of Ayda camp} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. At 17:50, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammed Attallah, Ahmed Jazem, and Talal Fayez Aldbs near Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.
2. Israeli forces detained: Hassan Mahmoud Hassan Shaqarna in Nihalin village.
3. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Atta Al-Harmini in Bethlehem city.

At 16:40, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

1. At 16:50, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city off Hebron detained Mohammad Falah Abdel-Jawad and Bassam Falah Abdel-Jawad.
2. On the evening of March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Um Al-Khier village located near "Karama'l" settlement located in east Yatta town detained Yasser Eid Amin Al-Hathaleen.
3. On March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Jabal Juhar area located in the old city of Hebron detained 2 residents:Mohammed Abdul Hamid Rajabi, and his son Osama.

Attack

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces positioned along Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
2. At 14:25, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
4. At 19:20, Israeli forces positioned near Tariq Bin Zied junction in the old city of Hebron fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
5. On the evening of March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Sa'yada area in Beit Ummar town fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of March 30th 2018, a Israeli settler driving his vehicle near Al-Tuwani village in east Yatta town ran over Hussien Hafith Issa Al-Harini and as a result left him hospitalized with contusion and a fractured leg.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured Ahmed Jawdat Kazem Abu Omar 14 years old during clashes near Tariq Bin Zied junction in the old city of Hebron.
2. Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in Sa'yada area in Beit Ummar town.
3. Hussien Hafith Issa Al-Harini was hospitalized with contusion and a fractured leg after he was run over by a Israeli settler driving his vehicle near Al-Tuwani village in east Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards demonstrators in North Gaza, Gaza , Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 14 residents , injured 928 {including several of them in critical condition} and left 422 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launching projectiles towards the Green Line {which landed in east Jahr Al-Dik town}.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed with the exception from 07:30 until 13:00 for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 10:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} in Jablaiya town and as a result killed 3 residents, injured 191 residents and left 75 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 10:30 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North West Beit Hanun town and as a result injured 23 residents and left 10 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 16:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} in North Beit Lahiya town.
4. At 18:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched 6 tank artillery shells towards several residents in east Beit Hanun town and as a result killed 2 residents.
5. At 20:30 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Hanun town.

Killings

1. Israeli forces killed 3 residents: Bader Ibrahim al-Sabbagh 21 years, Mohammed Kamal al-Najjar 25 years, Abdul Fattah Bahjat Abdul-Fattah Abdul Nabi 18 years during clashes in east Jablaiya town.
2. Israeli forces killed 2 residents: Sari Walid Mohammed Abu Odeh 27, Hamdan Ismail Saber Abu Amsha 23 years after launching tank artillery shells towards east Beit Hanun town

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 191 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jablaiya town.
2. Israeli forces injured 23 unidentified residents during clashes near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North West Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 10:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} in east Gaza city and as a result killed 4 residents, injured 203 residents and left 97 other suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 17:40 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells towards demonstrators.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 4 residents: Mohammed Na'im Mohammed Abu Amr {35 years old}, Mahmoud Sa'di Younis Rahmi {34 years old}, Ahmed Ibrahim Ashour Odeh {19 years old}, and Jihad Mohammed Farina {33 years old} during clashes in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 203 unidentified residents during clashes in in east Gaza city.

Palestinian Attacks

At 01:30 on March 31st 2018, Palestinian gunmen launched 3 projectiles towards the Green line {which landed in east Jahr Al-Dik town}.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 10:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} in Al-Buriej camp and as a result killed 2 residents, injured 124 residents and left 46 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 10:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} in east Al-Maghazi camp and as a result injured 30 residents and left 14 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 01:35 on March 31st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched 5 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian gunmen located in east Al-Buriej camp.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 residents: Abd al-Qader Merhi Suleiman al-Hawajri {43 years old}, and Naji Abdullah Shehdeh Abu Hujair {24 years old} during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 124 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.
2. Israeli forces injured 30 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Maghazi camp

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 10:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result killed a resident, injured 207 residents and left 110 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Jihad Zuhair Salman Abu Jamous {30 years old} during clashes in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 207 unidentified residents during clashes in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 10:00 on March 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting to commemorate of the 42 anniversary of Al-Nakba {Catastrophe} in east Rafah city and as a result killed 2 residents, injured 150 residents and left 70 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 residents: Ameen Mahmoud Mu'ammar {22 years old}, and Ibrahim Salah Abu Sha'er {20 years old}{ {both of whom are residents of Rafah district} during clashes in east Rafah city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 150 unidentified residents during clashes in east Rafah city.
